I agree with Maggie's comment. I have been to several allergists offices in Las Vegas and had really bad experiences with all of those. I recently visited Dr. Tottori's office as a new patient and was delighted with the care. He spends alot of time with you and actually listens to you, wow, what a change from what's out there. I too recommend him.

Dont always listen to what you read, see it for yourself. My family and I have been with Dr. Tottori for 5 years and I highly recommend his practice to all. It is shameful such a great physcian and his practice can be slander withuout decree. I refer many personsal friends and family to Dr. Tottori and they love him. Dr. Tottori is by far the best allergist in the valley and being a business owner myself, I know you cant please everyone.

Ratings_icons Incompetence all around.

I'm currently undergoing the immunotherapy treatment for my allergies which is improving my situation. As for Dr. Tottori, the nurses or techs, and the billing system, I've experiencing the epitome of incompetence. I had to tell the Doctor about wanting to get off of daily drugs and get immunotherapy but for the follow ups he gave me 3-5 prescriptions that I told him I didn't want. Hmm does someone here get kickbacks!!! As for the techs or nurses- whatever they are, they have messed up subcutaneous injections on my arms twice. They also do not inform you completely about the procedure, additional charges and the need to continuity. From their lips it's "Come when you can." No!!! You need to go at least every week regardless. I had a 3 week hiatus during the holiday season due to illness, travel, and other problems. I was charged triple the amount that I usually pay by the office and they had to back track on my injections. The billing people claimed that the nurses had to make adjustment and new solution but I asked the nurses to tell me what they had to do and they told me that they just repeated certain injections and didn't have to make up new solutions. RIP OFF!!! The billing system is also messed up. Their billing cycles are behind and they don't know what is going on. You pay your balance in full but in a few months they tell you that you owe money from months BEFORE you paid. On top of that, Tottori's office people don't know what's going on. They don't know your copays. They don't call. And they look like they don't care. It's a complete package!

I agree with h.h.'s review. I took my son here for extreme dry skin and hyperactivity. DR. Tottori did not even look at his dry skin areas but prescribed an ointment and treatment. Beyond that he also prescribed 2 asthma medications. Umm...my son was not there for any asthma or lung related reasons. What the?!?!?! Why does he need asthma medicine? He also did scratch tests on my son and although testing positive for 4 items with a +2 the told me he was only allergic to 2 of those items. I asked about the other 2 and they said just because it was positive it doesn't mean that he is allergic. The treatment prescribed for the dry skin goes against anything I have ever heard from any other doctor and common sense. They want me to bath him twice a day. Common sense tells you that this will make his skin drier NOT heal. They kept promising my son stickers and lollipops but never brought him any of that. I felt lied to and that the doctor didn't address any of the concerns that I brought to the office with me. Don't believe the hype, this doctor is too full of himself and the perks the drug companies give him to treat his patients honestly.

PROS: Several offices.
CONS: Ignores parents. Diagnoses without looking at the problem.

I must be missing something? My son and I have been going there for 4 years and I have never had a time when I left there feeling fully informed about my sons health. I am sorry that I wasted so many years on a place I felt very unhappy about. The doctor always came in look over myself or my son very quickly and then said he would be back and he never returned. The nurse always came in and handed out prescriptions but never really got an anwer as to why my son needed 5 prescriptions. I feel they give out prednisone like it is candy. Thats a very potent drug to just be handing out. Needless to say we found a new doctor. But I am surprised about all the positive feedback when I and everyone I have ever known that goes here complains just as much as I do!

PROS:
CONS: not informative

If your child has problems with allergies or any other breathig-related difficulty, I highly recommend this office for diagnosis and treatment. We've sought help for my son's allergies and asthma with Dr. Tottori, and found him to be very knowledgeable and thorough. His staff is also great with kids and very competent. Because of Dr. Tottori's good medical advice, we were able to avoid putting my son through a nasal surgery, and treated his problems with medication instead.

PROS: One of the best pediatric allergists in town
CONS: Sometimes wait times are long - bring reading material!
