5 Stars: One of the Joyful Restaurant (by Simone J.)

Joyful House is my most favorable restaurant in Las Vegas. Their salt & pepper lobster are the best seafood dish that I have tried in town. It was so crispy & the taste was so good that I can't stop until the last bite. Their waiter are very helpful & friendly to me & my family. Their fine wine list also impress me so much, I think no where in town can compare with their incredible price. I went to this restaurant since I moved to Las Vegas in 2001, I love this restaurant because they can always maintain a very good service & food quality, I never been disappointed over there. Joyful, keep it up!!

4 Stars: Wonderful authentic Chinese Restaurant (by Lydia S.)

I love this place. The food is authentic, the servers are friendly, the portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. I like that they are open late and have a predominantly Chinese clientelle. The only complaint I have is the way they serve their Peking Duck. They serve it on a steamed bun and chop the duck instead of carving it so it has lots of bone shards.
The calamari is the perfect mix of salt, heat, and crunch. The vegetables are crispy and not at all over cooked. The sauces are tasty without being heavy and cloying.
All in all a great Chinese restaurant.

5 Stars: The Best Kept Secret (by C U.)

Out of all the Chinese restaurants in Vegas, Joyful House is the one that feels truly "authentic." It obscure and small and if you drive without really looking left or right, you could miss it but this place is the best. The food is amazing and the prices are reasonably cheap. Don't waste your time finding any other Chinese restaurant. The big helpings of the entrees are great especially because it's served family style. I love the spicy calamari. The menu is in Chinese but the waiters are there to help you and even tell you their recommendations if you ask them. Very friendly and open until 2 am. It's Vegas' best kept secret and locals should all love it if they love Chinese food. Just don't tell the tourists yet.
