5 Stars: Pham Tai D - Southern Nevada Pain Ctr is a Human! (by Christine B.)

I have been suffering from pain for 13 years. I took a turn for the worst early 2007 as the pain came on hard and this time it never left. I was in and out of hospitals; constantly being told it was my gallbladder. I had my gallbladder removed only to find that the pain was still there. I went absolutely crazy! Nobody believed me. I was accused of being lazy even though I had three jobs just to keep the rent paid. I ended up losing my jobs because the pain interfered with my ability to work. I bought every single pain regimen on the shelf :Ibuprofen, Naproxen, Advil, Aleve, Tylenol, Acetaminophen,Pepto-Bismal (I never want to see that color of pink ever again)...the list goes on.One evening, after being under me coffee table screaming for God to "just kill me and get this over with," I landed in the E.R.. I accidentally took too much over-the-counter medications (too many Tylenol and bismuth). My gallbladder surgeon then referred me to the Southern Nevada Pain Center. I eventually wound up with Dr. Tai Pham. He stole my heart when he showed me that he was interested in my case. He actually cares about what is going on with my body. He is willing to listen and learn. He does not intimidate his patients (some doctors come on too strong or act like people are stupid). Dr. Tai does not make me feel like I am stupid. I look forward to seeing him as we try to figure out what the exact cause of my pain is. If it was not for the clinic, I would be spending my life screaming every time I get out of bed each morning. I am a 33 year old woman with strong ambitions and motivated to move to higher levels. I am a 2 time honor role student at my college and I could not achieve my higher education if it was not for my great management I get at the clinic. I look forward to graduating from college with high marks and living as close to a normal life as I possibly can. I gave up on living a close-to-pain-free life before going to the clinic. I could not imagine what it would be like to suffer like this for the rest of my life with no pain management. Thank you Dr. Tai for all of your support and I wish you the best. Ok, I am done. Christina from Ashford University

Very consciencous of taking care of me. Whenever I am need of care, I am scheduled accordingly. Especially when it comes to being squeezed in for an appointment due to being in extreme pain. Thanks.

Chronic pain is not fun and relief is just a visit away at the SN Pain Center. Whether through the use of medication or injections. Dr. Kim is a very caring phyisician.

PROS: Relivese the pain
CONS: You may see the Physician's Assistant most of the time
