At almost 3,000 feet in elevation, Angel Park offers spectacular views of Red Rock Canyon and the Las Vegas Valley. Angel Park Golf Club features 36 holes of championship golf designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer, the Cloud Nine Short Course, and the world's original natural grass Putting Course. Both the Cloud Nine and putting course are lighted for evening enjoyment. Angel Park has been the recipient of several awards, including the accolade of Best Golf Course in Las Vegas in the "Best of Las Vegas," Las Vegas Review Journal Readers Poll (11 out of the past 12 years) and "Favorite Golf Course" in Las Vegas by visiting golfers (as nominated by What's On magazine's Visitor Choice Awards). In addition, the Golf Shop at Angel Park has been selected as a "Top 100 Golf Shop in the Country" by Golf World Business for the past two years in a row.

The Course
With its vast driving range, putting course, Cloud Nine course, a broad Palms course and a narrower, more difficult Mountain course, Angel Park is a good overall range. Outside patio dining makes it seem more like a country club than a public golf course. Resident cardholders can play for about $50 at a twilight rate at one end and visitors on weekends for $140 on the other end of the cost spectrum.

The Experience
For the traditional golfer, you can pick your poison on the championship courses. The Mountain course resembles a traditional European stadium-style course: All holes run uphill east-west or downhill west-east. The Palms course is primarily north-south with varying changes in elevation. Both courses are long enough to challenge any player, yet all holes are reachable (as long as you stay in the fairway).

Their 18 hole miniature golf course is fun for the whole family. They have real sand bunkers on the course, and you can loose your ball in the water. If you child has never putted before I suggest you have them practice before hand, because it is extremely challenging!

Ratings_icons Wonderful Place for a Wedding!

Aleesha M.

My husband and I had our wedding and reception at Angel Park Golf Club in March 2007. The coordinators and staff were absolutely wonderful. They were always available for meetings with us and were very helpful when we needed to make changes to our original plans. They went through every detail of fabric choices, menu items (which they also had a special tasting set up for us where we met the chef), and the ceremony. The prices for everything were not that bad either. Because our wedding was in early March, we were worried about the weather. They explained that they were completely prepared to make it an indoor ceremony if necessary or would clean everything up if it was just a short rain. Luckily though, it was a beautiful day and everything went perfectly. The reception room was decorated beautifully, and the staff at the reception were extraordinary! They were so nice to all of our guests (even the crazy ones) and made our wedding wonderful. My only complaint is that I wish they would have had rooms for the bridal party to get ready in. It was not that big of a deal though. We just got rooms at the Suncoast across the street to get ready in. Overall, my husband and I were sooooo happy with our decision to have our wedding at Angel Park!

Ratings_icons A Great Experience

This was the first time playing the course. You could not ask for a better day, sunny about 75%, the greens were in great condition. Course lay out was a good challenge for the average golfer. I would recommend it to all

Angel park Golfing makes you fell like your out of Las vegas and put in a florida Golf Paradise. The organization of the holes are great and the grass is kept healthy and green.

PROS: Very nice court
CONS: A little messy inside

I went to a party that was held at this golf club, it was my first there and was very impressed. They have a huge parking lot and we were greeted by their the staff that made sure we were well taken care of. The bartender was friendly and upbeat and kept the drinks flowing.

Ratings_icons Good. Just good.

Angel Park is a good layout that's not going to dazzle anyone. Typically in good shape, but if you're looking for a true test of golf, try The Badlands down the street. Both have great summer rates for locals.
Angel Park has a neat putting course and a lighted par-3 course that are fun and would be good if you have children.

My brother had his wedding here and it was magical. So when I was going to get married I chose the same location. The wedding planners were awesome they were there for everthing that I needed. My only complaint was that they needed a bigger room with mirrors for the bridal party to get ready. But I overlooked that because I was going to get myself ready at home.

PROS: The setting is beautiful
CONS: Need a bigger room for bridal party to get ready.

Ratings_icons Fantastic Course

Justin H. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 5,071

Angel Park is a fantastic course that offers beautiful holes and wonderful landscaping. In addition to a great 18-hole course, Angel Park offers a 12-hole Par-3 course (9 holes are lighted for play until midnight in the summer). The Par-3 course is modeled after famous par-3 holes from around the world. It is very challenging, but very fun at the same time. Angel Park also features a difficult 18-hole miniature golf course.

PROS:
CONS: Greens Fees are expensive

Ratings_icons Angel Park for ego trip

If you want to feel good about your golf game this is the course to go to. Extremely easy, might be good for beginning golfers.

Citysearch rates it as number one -- paid advertisement ?

Interesting putt putt style course for settling bets after you've bested your handicap by six or seven strokes.

Not a destination resort by any means.
