This is where we bought all of our plants when we landscaped our new home. We were able to find everything we needed and the prices were very competitive. The best part was how knowledgeable the employees were. The helped us to get just the right look that we wanted and I don't think we have lost even one of the plants that they sold us

This store, Star Nursery, is very generous. They donated beautiful flowers to our newly built school. Their prices are extremely low, and they carry just about every single plant that grows in my area!

We were impressed with the selection and service on our first visit. The staff is readily available and very knowledgeable. They even solved our pest control problem with one product. Saving us money on a regular service we didn't need.

The best thing about Star Nursery is that the staff really knows their business. Unfortunately, Star is so busy I waited some time before I got my lawn advice. The store has more combinations of irrigation PVC joints than you could possibly imagine. I spent a good amount of time trying to find exactly what I needed. They do have competitive prices and it's worth going to, especially for sod. Unfortunately, they've also been plagued by pushy day laborers. Star doesn't give them permission to solicit on their property, but you will see them up and down Eastern looking for day work.
PROS: Can get specialized items and advice
CONS: Not necessarily a store to just walk in and browse around

Star Nursery has it all: Plants that will live in our desert environment, plant food designed for this area and a very knowledgeable staff. There is even a staffed kisok outdoors in the nursery area who can give you specific recommendations for plants to suit your yard or almost any gardening question. They've expanded recently and it's lovely just to stroll around taking in the beauty of the plants and flowers. The apricot tree I bought from them just last year is loaded with aprictos this year! They have a money back guarantee if you use their directions for planting. They also carry a full selection of tools, yard lighting and just about anything you might need for your gardening pleasure.
PROS: Incredible selection and knowledgeable staff!
CONS: The store is absolutely jammed on weekends in the Spring!
