On 9/27/2012 I went Henderson Nissan to test drive a 2011 used Frontier . I noticed the int. color was very light and had stains. I mention to the sales person I didn??t want a light int.
The sales person (SP) (Kevin Aviles asked if I was interested in a new truck instead of the used one and I explained if the price was right. After 6 rounds of negotiation, the sales mgr (Hussein Hassinaly) (SM) came to the table with the (SP) and asked if I would consider a lease. I clearly stated NO I am not interested in a lease at all to both of them.
The (SM) then stated he had a special ??friends and family value plan? (FF) and stated that it is only for friends and family of Nissan employees. He stated this program would guarantee the value of my truck and after 18 months I could bring it back and trade it in for a lower monthly payment and overall cost of a new truck due to financing through Nissan directly with this (FF) plan as this was a special arrangement not available to the public. This was a lie.
I asked if the (FF) plan was a lease or purchase and the (SM) stated this is a purchase but they do not have the proper paperwork for this (FF) deal so the contract may look a little funny but just ignore that.
I told the (SM) and the (SP) that I have to pick up my wife and child at 5pm and it was 4:30pm and this would not leave me enough time. The (SM) did not want me to leave before signing the contract and offered to have the (SP) pick up my wife for me while I sign the paperwork. I hesitated and they insisted in order to meet a deadline for the financing office for this special (FM) deal. I agreed but my wife was very upset.
We went into an office and I met with the finance person (Joseph Thiele) (FF) and the (SM) was present too. When I looked at the contract it was for a lease. I asked the (SM) again and also the (FF) is this a lease or purchase? They both stated this is a purchase not a lease it??s just the wrong paperwork and for me not to worry about it.
There was a lot of wording about mileage limits, additional costs and fine print associated with a typical lease that I did not want. I asked the (FF) and the (SM) about all these items and they both chimed in to say this does not apply to the (FF) plan that I do not have to worry about those things, just to trust them.
I signed the contract but it is not a coincidence that it took the (SP) more than 2 hours to pick up my wife and son in order to avoid my wife showing up before the contract had been finalized.
At the dealer the next day and when I got there they rushed me into an office with the (FP) who stated that I actually did sign a lease not a purchase and that it was the same thing as a sale. I argued that it is not the same thing and that there are a number of reasons I didn??t want a lease. Both the (FP) and the (SM) said there is nothing they can do now and escorted me out of the dealership. Apparently, the (FF) deal does exist but I surely did not get on it??I got a standard lease that I cannot afford.
I called Nissan??s toll free number to file a complaint and was forwarded onto the regional management office of Las Vegas. They met with the GM of the dealership to see what can be done. A week later I received a call that all persons involved denied the allegations and there was nothing the regional management could do.
Needless to say this is a terrible consumer experience and I cannot afford all the extra costs associated with a lease but I have no choice now and I was never given a real opportunity to inspect my truck and I was not offered the opportunity to add on options such as a bed liner that I will now have to buy separately with money that I do not have.

bought a precertified 2009 nissan- approximately 1 week after purchase brakes began to squeak was told because brakes were new this was to be expected. Weeks later problems became worse and the front brakes had to be replaced. Just bought my first car there! It was great, got a great rate and great rate, less than I expected! The salespeople were all really friendly helping with any questions I had. There was plenty of cars to choose from an colors, got exactly what I was looking for. The managers were just as friendly as the salespeople and helpded make the whole process as smooth as possible. They took the time to explain what the steps were and all my questions. Can't say enough, if you need a new car check out Henderson Nissan first, it'll be the only place you'll need to go!

Nevertheless, theres one young man that deserves top-quality recognition. Ben Sahagun have shown my wife and I that there is always one company that stands out from the crowd. Our buying experience was painless, and quite enjoyable I might add. This young gentleman had a vast knowledge of the Nissan products, and other brand names. I didn't have to much to come in with but they have a 2nd chance financing that got me right into the vehicle of my choice. They were just really helpful, made me feel as if they cared. They were honest and honestly got me into a vehicle.

I found my experience to be a positive one. I worked with the internet department and had a mostly haggle free deal. There were a large selection of vehicles to choose from at Henderson Nissan. The price range and options I was looking at were readily available for test drives, etc. The deal was closed and paperwork finalized with great attention (especially since I was one of a few customers whose deals went past closing to near midnight). I was able to return to get accessories the next business day and was efficiently helped and treated well.
