This place is NOT SAFE!!! I came back to my room with my wife & her two friends after attending a wedding that evening to a scroungey smoking male leaving OUR ROOM with a black sack full of OUR BELONGINGS! Apparently security had been called on this "suspect fellow" 20 min prior and they were IN THE HALL as the man proceeded to ATTACK me and grab me by the throat and then run into the Service Elevator Room and escape through the SERVICE ELEVATORS.... ALL IN FRONT OF SECURITY, WHO WALKED SLUGGISHLY TO US! They didn't even jog!!! And their response to us being attacked and robbed in front of them was to offer to write a report "if we wanted to"!!! OF COURSE WE WANTED TO. And then they continued to try to talk us out of calling the Police, which we ignored and called our self to file a report with the police.

Absolutely sketchy and unacceptable! And on top of it all, management refused to compensate our rooms for the nights stay!! Never coming back, I like my safety more!

Well just a clarification "TI" is independantly owned by the Ruffins. It used to be part of MGM but was bought out. With that being said..I am a local here and was in "TI" visiting friends in from out of town. We walked into the spa to check it out..WOW.. WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE...NOT!!!!! one girl was on a computer with her school books spread out ..the other was on her cell phone..we grabbed a menu..really over $100 for a 50 minute massage and the front desk cant be bothered to greet you???? So many people looking for jobs here in Las Vegas and this is the best you can find..maybe need to reconsider hiring children who have no idea what customer service is.. Wish i had a job where I got paid to be on my cell phone all day and do homework....

When I came to check in at the Treasure Island this week they made me pay extra $ 22.50 per night a fee that was rubbish. The explanation was that every Hotel on the strip charge this fee. Total BS. I just left Mirage last week and they did not charge me a penny extra from my online reservation. That is just across the street. I booked both on the same online booking site and even though this was less on the site but end up costing me $ 22.50 extra each night. Imagine if you stay just one week that is about $ 150.00. That is a scam and I am totally unhappy with that. Now I am in the room and I am unhappy that I got scammed and the room are not even as good as Mirage.

Great hotel and thank goodness I am not a kid anymore because the arcade here sucks! Back in the day, it used to be a huge arena of games and now it has been cut down to size in a one room, 18 game (if not less) room that would make any kid go nuts! I was dissappointed to see that they had replaced the old arcade with I think it's a bar and some shops(?). However, the rooms are amazing and the pool is a great place to relax.

The Treasure Island hotel is very comfortable and my son really enjoyed watching the show in the front of the hotel. We had a great view. The buffet is EXCELLENT!

Definately agree that it's not a family place because they did change the show out front because it has women pirates dressed in basically nothing swinging around on ropes and fighting. A little too inappropriate for a street view, but I guess they can get away with it because it is Vegas!

dis hotel was totally Sukey, i could have found a better place to stay in a box, if u choose to go here then u are really out of Ur mind. Seriously, buy a refrigerator box, put some air holes in it . then u have a 5 star hotel I forgot to mention that i was thrown up on by a waiter and that someone was spitting on my face. Dirty diapers at the register, and a hot waitress, but she threw up on me! Dont go there unless it is for the ladies, but not the waitress the last reason why i didnt choose this was becuase the place smelled like a **s of a goat and c*** this place and all who enjoy it exept for doesn't matter, hes my friend i luv him he so cool

We stayed at The Mirage last trip while a few friends stayed at Treasure Island and invited us to join them at the steakhouse on our last evening. Right away I hit the net and found these reviews, and I definitly noticed some similarities.

Pros: The reservations weren't a problem, they even let us add 2 more people a few hours before dinnertime. 8 of us went and everyone was pleased with their food. I had the surf and turf and my girlfriend had the salmon, both were fantastic. We shared by far the biggest baked potato ive ever seen, and I work in a produce market. ALL The sides were excellent and every ones meat was cooked to their liking. We had a coupon for 25% off the entire bill so that really took the edge off the price. (I'm not sure exactly where that coupon came from, I believe someone who stayed at the T.I. found it in their room.)

Cons: The service. Its a good thing everything arrived as we ordered it, because save for the water boy, once you place your order don't expect to see any staff again.

Overall the food out shined the service, we talked about that meal for days. We will definitely go there again, and I would easily recommend it to a friend.

We stayed at Treasure Island Hotel while we were in Vegas and one night we were to tired to go out to eat so we decided to eat at their steak house. The food was good and the service was great. The prices were a little high but for the convenience it was well worth it.

This hotel is a must see. Great show and a great deal. Staff are accomodating. Recommend for adults and families. Would return and bring friends. Seems they all try to out do each other and TI ranks as one of the best in Vegas.

Located on the Strip next to the Mirage Hotel and Casino, Treasure Island, or "T.I." as it's known now is one of the great themed casinos in Las Vegas. Their classic Pirate Show (with boats, cannons, music and action) is a main highlight on the Strip, it runs every hour and best of all it's free! You'll have to get there early if you want a good spot because it fills up quickly. Another great entertainment option or show is the Mystere Cirque du soleil show which has been there for a very long time but is still one of the best shows to check out (tickets are around ~$60). If you're into the club/bar scene then check out MIST, a very nicely designed club. Last time we went one of the guest in our party saw some English Premier Soccer Players there so it's definitely a popular spot, make sure to get in line early or to get on the VIP list. Their buffet is pretty good though like any Vegas buffet you'll want to get there early too to get in line. They used to have a great arcade/midway fun center for kids but now it's been converted into a small one room center with a few arcade games (this is disappointing, especially for the kids); the area has been remade into a tiki bar which is nice but what about the kids? Their poker room is pretty small compared to other casinos but it's pretty nice (sometimes it seems a little too dark in there though). They also have a tram that takes you to next door to the Mirage so it's nice if it's a super hot day and you don't feel like bearing the heat. Rooms are pretty standard and their pool is decent as well. Overall it's a great place to check out if you're into pirates and other entertainment options.

Quiet is not the word I would use to describe this restaurant since it is inside of a Las Vegas casino. After glancing at the prices on the menu, I wasn??t sure I wanted to spend so much for food in such a noisy atmosphere. However, we were here so?..

This was another hotel that wasn't as impressive as the other hotels. They did have the Pirate show that ran every 30 minutes. Which was worth watching more then once.

SORRY, BUT I TRAVEL A LOT, LIVE IN HAWAII AND STAY AT FIVE STAR HOTELS... YES, I GAMBLE A LOT TOO! WON 1,200 AT TI AND ANOTHER 4,000 AT MGM! BUT MY BEST WINNINGS DURING MY STAY IN LAS VEGAS WAS AT THE NEW RESORT RED ROCK WON OVER 13,000.00, YES THE IRS LOVES ME! HOWEVER, I TOOK TWO ROOMS AT TI ON THE 23 OF OCTOBER, PAID FULL PRICE 179.00 (ROOMS WERE 179.00 PLUS PER NIGHT) DIDN'T BOOK THROUGH NET! MY STORY IS THIS, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, YOUR CHOICE... I'M REALLY NOT A SNOB, CAME FROM POOR TO A GOOD LIVING, BUT I'D TELL YOU NOT TO STAY AT TI, THE SERVICE IS LOSY, MANAGERS ARE JUST PLAIN RUDE, AND IF YOU BY CHANCE WANT A DRINK, WELL EXPECT TO PAY FULL PRICE WHEREVER YOU GO IN THE CASINO! IN FACT AFTER MY RUDE BAR TENDER, I INSISTED PAYING FULL PRICE AT ANY BAR I WENT TO AFTER THAT!!! IT'S A MOTEL SIX THAT CHARGES PRICES OVER WHAT THEY ARE WORTH! BELIEVE ME I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN AND I SUGGEST YOU SEND THIS TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN, I KNOW I AM!!!!!!!~!! AT ANY RATE IF YOU'RE STILL LISTENING/READING, I PAID FULL PRICE FOR ROOMS... WELL HAD TO ORDER WASH CLOTHS FOR OUR ROOM AND A DO NOT DISTURBE SIGN TOO! THIS WAS NOT THE REAL PROBLEM (NEVER HAPPENS IN A FIVE/FOUR OR EVEN THREE STAR HOTEL) YET HAD TO ASK FOR THESE ITEMS (TIP, YUP YOU BET, I'M NOT CHEAP), THEN, WENT TO GAMBELING FLOOR TO PLAY SOME SLOTS AND HAVE FUN, (I DID WIN 1200.00 BUCKS IN THE CASINO AND ANOTHER 4,000 PLUS FROM THEIR SISTER COMPANY, SO MY COMPLAINT IS NOT THAT I DIDN'T WIN (HOWEVER, SUGGEST YOU GO TO THE RED ROCK CASINO TO WIN EVEN MORE, I WON 12,500.00 AND MY WIFE WON 751.00 THERE) ALL OF THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND VERY ACCOMIDATING... HOWEVER, AT TI, WELL THE STAFF/MINIMUM MANAGEMENT/AND OTHER SERVICES ARE JUST PLAIN NOT ACOMIDATING AND RUDE!!!! I HAD THREE BAR LADIES PASS ME (NEVER ASKED ME IF I WANTED ANYTHING TO DRINK FOUR TO FIVE TIMES) AND THIS WAS NOT WHILE I WAS JUST PLAYING NICKEL MACHINES I WERE/WAS PLAYING DOLLAR AND 5 DOLLAR MACHINES... SO I WENT TO THE BAR (I KNOW, NOT THE BEST PLACE TO BE WHEN YOU'RE GAMBELING) BUT WANTED A DRINK! IT HAD BEEN A LONG DAY, BUT THAT'S ANOTHER STORY!!! AT ANY RATE WHILE WAITING FOR THE BAR TENDER (SLOW AT BEST) I DECIDED TO PLAY THE VIDEO POKER AND HE FINALLY ARRIVED, SO I ORDERD MY DRINK AND HE FINALLY GAVE IT TO ME!!! SOMEWHAT WATERED DOWN, BUT THAT'S A CASINO THING! AT ANY RATE, I STOPPED PLAYING VIDEO POKER AND WAS ABOUT TO GO TO MEGA BUCKS AGAIN WHEN THIS BAR TENDER (AFTER TIPPING HIM MIND YOU) SAID "SIR, WHAT'S UP? YOU PLAY A COUPLE OF VIDEO GAMES AND TIP ME AND THEN LEAVE?, YOU KNOW WE WATCH YOU? I WANT YOU TO PAY ME $$$ FOR THE DRINK TOO!) I SAID "EXCUSE ME?, I PAID FULL PRICE FOR TWO ROOMS, I'VE BEEN GAMBLING ON MEGA BUCKS, AND OTHER MACHINES, NOT TO MENTION $5 MACHINES I'M A CUSTOMER OF YOUR HOTEL AND HE SAID BS" YOU NEED TO PAY FULL PRICE! I DID AND LEFT, ONLY TO COME BACK A SHORT WHILE LATER AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE SUPERVISOR, WELL HE FINALLY CAME ABOUT 25 TO 30 MINUTES LATER AND OF COURSE WAS ON THE BAR TENDERS SIDE??? I DID TRY THE NEXT DAY TO TALK WITH THE CASINO FLOOR, BUT THEY SAID I WAS BEING RUDE (MAYBE I WAS, BUT I FEEL I HAD A RIGHT TO BE!), AND THAT THEY WOULD NOT TALK TO ME UNTIL I WAS NOT AND THAT THEY HAD TO OF COURSE (THE RUN AROUND) DID NOT HAVE THE SUPERVISOR PRESENT... SO AFTER ALL THIS FRUSTRATION I JUST HUNG UP!!! SO IF YOU WANT MY OPNION FOR WHAT IT IS WORTH, NEVER STAY AT TREASURE ISLAND (BELIEVE ME IT'S NOT AND I'D BOYCOT MGM GRAND TOO AS THEY ARE THE PARENT COMPANY)I'LL JUST BET THIS WILL NEVER MAKE IT ON THIS SITE TOO!

RESPECTFULLY TO ALL,

DAVE

This place used to be all kid-oriented (if that's possible in Vegas) with its pirate/skull & cross bones theme. Now, they've refocused and gone all sexy-like. They've latched onto a modern look, simplifying their logo and initializing their name to just "ti" like KFC did, and changed their mascots to scantily clad women posing as "sirens." All this so they could attract the more hip and modern middle-aged crowd, as opposed to the pirate lovers that "treasure island" brought. Sure, that works for me.

Anyways, the hotel is pretty good -- their rooms are nice, and we had a great view of the pool. They also split up the elevators nicely so that there is never a long wait to get to/from your room and the casino. They've also added a connection to the large fashion mall, so you can get your shop on if you wanted. The restaurants are pretty good too -- we had the "Dishes" breakfast buffet and "the Coffee shop" desserts and they were tasty. I wish there were a tram connection somewhere to other places, however. You're right across the street from the Venetian, but if you wanted to go anywhere else, you'll have to hoof it outside (in the summertime, this hurts) or take a cab.

Treasure Island recently transformed itself from a Disney-style family hotel into an adult playground by sexing up the free pirate battle and adding a burlesque club. While I preferred the family-friendly version, the new "TI" does have a major positive addition: the new Dishes buffet, complete with a BBQ station, Asian Fusion cuisine, a custom-tossed salad bar, a bakery and a grill. The lunch and dinner selections are great, but the breakfast buffet is the best, especially the amazing "mini donuts" made fresh every 15 minutes and dipped in chocolate, maple or cinnamon sugar. The hotel is in a good location on the Strip, near the Mirage and the new Wynn hotel. They also have a great online reservation website (www.treasureisland.com) with good room rates compared to most Strip hotels.

PROS: Amazing breakfast buffet w/ to-die-for mini donuts!
CONS: No longer ideal for families with kids

The hotel is in a good location on the Strip, near the Mirage and the new Wynn hotel. They also have a great online reservation website (www.treasureisland.com) with good room rates compared to most Strip hotels.

PROS: Amazing breakfast buffet w/ to-die-for mini donuts!
CONS: No longer ideal for families with kids

It took an hour and 10 minutes to check into this hotel. Not once did anybody apologize or even act if they cared. They passed out free water bottles, untill the casino hostess discovered that and then they came around lookimg for tips. My room was dirty, hair in the sink and bl**d stained sheets, there was so much dust on the dresser you could write your name in it. When I complained to housekeeping they just said they wouldn't have the same maid clean my room. I will never stay here again.

This Casino has really great service, and the rooms are always very clean as appose to a lot of other places I have visted. I especially love the shows that go on during the nights here. Great hotel and casino

I went there Jan. of 2009 for dinner. Pretty good for Americanized version of Vietnamese food. Cheaper compared to other restaurants on the strip. Generous food portions so if you are not too hungry, I would split the dish with a friend. I am a fan of spicy foods, so compared to what I like, the food was mild, not spicy enough for me. My friend complained that the chicken came with the bone and said it was harder to eat, but I thought it gave the meat flavor. I've had better Vietnamese food elsewhere, but for the price, proportion, and location, I can't complain.

We were guests at TI and had seen this restaurant several times and figured it looked good. Boy, that was a mistake. The waitress couldn't of cared less about us, in fact she seemed irritated by our business. I'm a vegetarian and was looking forward to the cuisine that I assumed would be more veggie friendly, since a lot of places weren't in Vegas. Not so much, which was disappointing. The prices were really high. I had ordered a favorite dish of mine only to be left wondering, "WTF." Boring, because it was boiled water poured over unseasoned vegetables. If I served this food at my home, I would be embarrassed.

I've eaten at many a Pho places (in Vietnam, in Oregon, in Washington, in California and at another Pho place in Vegas), and have made it myself (being Vietnamese and all). I was so excited to find a pho place on the Strip so I decided to give it a shot! $10.00 for a bowl of Pho on the Strip sounded not so bad compared to how much everything else was. However, once I tasted it, I knew I paid TOO much!!! The broth lacked flavor. Perhaps they did that on purpose for people not familiar with Vietnamese food...who knows? All I know is, for $10.00 (on the Strip or not), I expected it to at least be decent! My husband and I were so disappointed, we did not even finish our food. I recently found out that Pho Hung (chain originated in Oregon) has opened a pho restaurant in Vegas - I'd probably go there next time I get a pho craving while in Vegas.

I booked this hotel because I saw online that they have new, remodeled rooms that looked very nice. However, when I got there, it didn't look nice at all, almost like staying at some cheap hotel. They didnt do a great job remodeling. I bought a package which included discounts for shows, specifically Cirque di Soleil. When I got to the hotel, I tried to reserve the show and was told that all the cheaper tickets were sold out. I explained that I only booked this deal to get discounts so I can save money, not spend more on tickets. They told me that I should have booked in advance. How could I have done that when I didn't have the discounts until I checked in???

Also, at some point in the trip our key card stopped working at 2AM. We called and asked for security to open our door. When security came, he was so rude and demanded we show our ids. We told him that they're in the room. So, he made us go downstairs at 2 AM!!!

Just horrible customer service!

Worst steak ever! Since when is medium taste like well done? Only at this steakhouse! My friend had the chicken and it was pretty gross too, warm on the outside cold chicken inside. It may have been a Saturday evening but you'd expect a place that looked pretty classy would take more value in their food than anything. AND not only did the entrees taste horrible, the appys were DISGUSTING - overcooked potato skins, the whipped potatos had chunks of potato in them! gross! - the only good thing was the wine, it was a Riesling, excellent. Overall, do your steakhouse research before going out to dine in Vegas. The service was okay, could have been faster after the appys. I heard the steakhouse in NYNY is good.

I love the TI. It's always a place we visit for our annual trips to Las Vegas. The bartenders and excitment at Kahunaville are second to none. Flair bartending, dancing free drinks... you got it all. Ofcourse, they make great tasting drinks. We have to see the Siren's show every time were in Las Vegas even though its a bit shamelessly self promoting :). TI has a larger rake for poker games and tourys then then the other MGM/Mirage properties but an excellent place for poker even though the room is a bit small.

A "nice" hotel if you are on a budget. While the hotel has very nice rooms, if you are younger and looking to lay at the pool, or go to their nightclub Tangerine, I would look eslewhere. Nothing is really wrong with the hotel, it's just that compared to some of the others, it's just not that impressive.

Even if you never have tried Vietnamese cuisine, this is the place to enjoy some authentic dishes. They keep all the "interesting" ingrediants on the side so you can add them as you wish. The food tastes so fresh. The Pho (pronounced "FAH") is basically a noodle soup with different ingrediants of your choice. It's warm and might be better than chicken soup to cure whatever ails you! The restaurant is actually a cozy corner of The Coffee Shop at TI. The wait staff is friendly and effecient, and you KNOW it's good when you see different nationalities trying the authentic Vietnames food!

This restaurants ambience is reuined by the sound of the slot machine which are right next to it. I just ignored it, but then was again disapointed with the food. For how much it cost, the food was really bland. For three people it cost us $100 and we all drank water. I'd pay that much if it was really good food, but it was pretty plain.

I went to Tngerine close to when it first opened and wasn't that impresed. The place is not very big compared to other Vegas clubs. The only good thing is that you don't wait in line very long, but we spent more time in the hotel bar because the drinks were alot cheaper.

I booked VIP on vegas com. Great deal. Great service. Nice bouncers. This is a cool spot. I wouldn't have wanted to be in general admission. It would have been to crowded for me. We were treated exactly like you should be if you buy a table and two bottles. We had a great time. I need to get back here. I have heard they have made some changes. I am sure they are for the better. This management team seems to do a great job. Only complaint I can think of is the bathroom was outside the club. It was kind of a pain.

I stayed at Treasure Island (right before it was renamed TI) and was pleasantly surprised by the room quality. The rooms weren't luxurious but quite nice for the price. The casino itself isn't much to speak of, and we ended up spending more time at the Venetian casino than the TI casino. Yes, the hotel is close to the Venetian and next to the Mirage. For some reason the hotel seemed more smoky than some of the other large hotels in the area (but not remotely as bad as say Circus Circus). I would stay there again. I miss the old pirate theming though.

We were able to stay here on a deal where we got an upgraded strip-view room as well as some food credits, so that already made me like this hotel. There were also separate elevators for the higher floors, very convenient. I even liked that cheesy sirens pirate show, guests get priority viewing.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend with a room that had a view of the strip. They offered a reasonable price for a very nice room and we had an excellent time. I would highly recommend this place to anyone going to the Vegas area. I was very impressed, but the check in line was quite long when we got there. I think it took about 30 minutes to get through, but this was during the summer time so maybe it was just a seasonal thing.

I stayed at the TI (used to be called Treasure Island, but switching to TI to seem less kid-oriented) in October 2006. Ithink it's a good hotel for the value and it's a great location, next to Mirage, across from Wynn and Venetian, close to Fashion Show shops. The Deli has great sandwiches, but I didn't try the other restaurants. The pirate show out front went from kid-oriented to really cheesy/hokey/ridiculous, but people still line up to watch it. If you watch, stay near the edge of the crowd in case you want to leave. Mystere is the Cirque de Soleil show that plays here; it's a good introduction if you've never seen a CdS show. The rooms are nice and the service was fine when I was there. Overall a good experience and a pretty good value.

This place is easy to get into--there was no line, and it seemed like even guys could get in with no problem. Also, this is a good place to go on Wednesday since many of the trendier clubs aren't open until Thursday. There was a really good DJ, and it wasn't so crowded that you couldn't move. Basically, it's not a particularly unique/awesome clubbing experience, but if you're looking for mid-week dancing with less hype, this might be a decent place to start.

We stayed here a year ago last minute because it was the only place that had a room. Our friends stayed at mirage. We got a corner room which was a lot bigger but the same price as the regular. Our bathroom was just as nice as the mirage's, if not better. Our room was twice the size. We payed half of what they did. The pool area is a lot smaller than most hotels, but if you are going in the colder months, it doesn't matter. Restaurants aren't good, but you can go other places to eat, if you want to save on the room. Ask for a strip view.

Tangerine has tough competition with so many upscale Las Vegas clubs, but what makes it fun and worth the visit is being able to stand on the balcony and watch the pirate show. After you are finished watching you can grab a potent daiquiri and watch the occasional burlesque dancer. Its a cute and fun place to go.

went there to meet a group while I was there for the weekend. Granted, they did have a private area roped off for them, the club was AWFUL. I wouldn't pay to go to a place like that. Music was decent, but we made the most of it. just altogether not a good vibe.

I've been here a few times now during special events and "normal" evenings. If you get there early, the outdoor deck area is an excellent spot to hang out and people watch on the Strip. Later at night, the VIP tables turn into celebrity hot spots. The indoor club has an intimate (small) dance area with killer audio. The DJ takes a break once an hour for the 10 minute burlesque show that is classy and fun with a live sax-drum-bass trio. Drink prices are a bit expensive, but standard for any popular club on the Strip. However, it's relatively easy to find "VIP" passes that allow you to skip the long lines, and get you $10 offer the cover price (which is $20 during the weekends and special events). Wednesday nights are MOONSHINE, and very popular with the "in crowd" (i.e. Vegas locals).
