This is not a bad place if you need a place just to sleep for couple hours , while you're visiting Vegas. The location is great because it's close to the strip. The room is standard and clean. Plus, you can beat the price.

I stayed at this Motel 6 for a week while waiting for my apt. to be ready, its a real good price at $41.99 a night (week nights) but the rooms are very out dated and its parking lot seems to be a local hangout for the city's homeless...overall, you cant beat the price if your looking for a place for just a night or two.

This is a not a bad place to stay. It was one of the big fight weekend in Las Vegas and all of the hotels on the strip were completely booked. I had a guest drove in with his girlfriend from Flagstaffs, AZ for the fight. They've just won fight tickets from their local radio staion that morning and decided to come to Vegas. Of course they didn't have any reservation at any of the hotel. I called every major hotels and no one would take them in so I gave them an option of calling Motel 6 which was not to far from the strip and in fact they can walk accross the street to the fight venue. They weren't sure if they want to stay at Motel 6, but they had no choice otherwise they will have to sleep in the car. The next morning they came back to thank me for helping them finding a place to sleep. They told me also that the place was not bad and in fact very clean and cheap. I was glad that I helped out a couple even though I was not able to get them to stay at my work.

We often choose Motel 6 motels when we travel believing that all we are really going to do is sleep there. Well, before we moved to Las Vegas and we stayed at there Motel 6 and were very suprised.

We took the time to go back on a weekend getaway. Between visiting some relatives who live in the area and sightseeing, we really only do sleep in our hotel room.

The Motel 6 in Las Vegas is a typical older Motel 6 in that the rooms are very basic. You can request either one queen size bed or two double beds. We always ask for non-smoking, but there are smoking rooms available. Everything is clean here, from the sheets and linens to the white bath and hand towels. Guests are given a small bar of soap in the basin area and one in the shower as well. No small shampoo bottles or hair dryers are provided. The carpeting in this particular Motel 6 had been a bit on the rundown side, but apparently was redone in recent years, because it is now perfectly acceptable. A dresser/desk combination with chair also was in our room. The rooms are on the small side too. I believe I learned that this is one of the older original Motel 6 motels.

Motel 6 offers cable television and includes HBO. Local calls are free and they now have a coffee machine in each room. There is also a coffee machine in the corner of the lobby, but only powdered creamer with packets of sugar. Of course, the ice machine is nearby as well. There is a rack of numerous brochures in the lobby area for display of local attractions. (Note: No continental breakfast is provided.)

OK place to stay a night or two and the room rates are very affordable. I paid just $37.00 per night. However, the air conditioning only worked half the time during the Hot July afternoons and the neighbors were noisy.
