Boulder City Antique Mall

I met the owner and he was very helpful, The salesperson working was very helpfull and gave me a short lesson on markings of Hummel Figurine's. I frequent the monthly auction and love the great deals! I also decided to sell my farm table at the next auction.

This was formerly an auction house and they still have auctions on occasion. In fact there is a room which houses some auction items and you can peek in to see what might be coming up in one of their auctions. What it is now is an antique store with items on consignment. Last time I was there it had a nasty sign advising visitors not to try to bargain because prices were fair and that was that. The owners are very unfriendly. They have a lot of "stuff" out front and I was particularly interested in wagon wheels. They had them all over the place and I had seen them for years. I live a couple of towns away and before making the trip I called and asked the price of the wagon wheels and was told that they range from the low price to the high price (I don't remember specifically the numbers). I drove over and asked for the lowest priced ones that I was quoted on the phone and the owner said whoever answered the phone made a mistake and that the lowest price was actually $15 higher. Since then I've been there to look, but never considered buying anything.

PROS: Much variety.
CONS: Won't bargain. Somewhat overpriced. Don't stand behind their quotes.
