This is not a paid advertisement, only an attaboy from me. A couple of years ago, I bought a set of tires for my truck at Discount Tires at 6910 W. Charleston Blvd. in Las Vegas. Today, I took Maria's car there to check a slow leak in

Discount Tire on Flamingo was awesome! The guys there got us in and out in 5 minutes. The customer service there was excellent. With all the stress of a flat tire, being 100 miles from home, and with little cash, the Discount Tire team made

After having a routine balance and rotation, I picked up my work van and noticed it was very hard to control on the freeway. I returned the next day because my tires appeared low. I spoke to Brian (manager). I had the air pressure checked. Front left was 24psi. Front right 36psi. Left rear 19psi. I asked Brian why the tires were in such a condition immediately after being serviced. He told me that I must have run over some nails on the way home. I also told him that the rear still feels out of balance. While waiting for them to re-balance the tires I pondered on how it was possible for a tire to lose all that air while being rotated. The guy that re-balanced the tire then informed me that the fronts were way out of balance. As he began balancing the rear we discovered serious problems with one of the tires. It was bald on only one spot which explained the bouncing I had felt. So I again asked Brian why was it not balanced and why did no one tell me that my tire was about to blow out? He asked his crew who had serviced my van. He shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I literally had to follow him around the store to get answers. Brian, I am not a difficult person to deal with. I am not the guy who screams and yells at people. I have a 6 yr old son who was riding with me that day. Your crew made several potentially dangerous mistakes. Your response should NEVER be to make an excuse and walk away. You are the manager!!!! Learn how to be professional. You need to reprimand the one who screwed up then resign your position and learn how your arrogance could be causing a reoccurance of the same with disasterous results. I had to purchase a new tire there because of it's condition but I promise you that I will never do business with your store again, especially if your bosses don't recognize the seriousness of your arrogance and lack of knowledge in how to handle a legitimate customer complaint. If anyone questions the validity of my statements, please feel free to contact me. (702)-768-8803. Thank you for reading. JIM

Discount Tire at Eastern and Silverado Ranch I took my work van in to have a routine rotation, balance and overall check up. An hour later I was told that all was done and I left. When driving home, on the freeway I noticed my van was swaying and very hard to control. I returned the next day because I had also noticed that 3 of my 4 tires appeared low. (very low) I had the pressure checked in each tire. Front left was 24psi. Front right was 36psi. Back left was 19psi. I spoke to the manager (Brian). I asked him how my tires could be so low right after being serviced. In a defensive tone he told me I must have run over a couple of nails on the way home and walked away making no apology. Are you kidding me Brian??? That was so unprofessional. Brian, people make mistakes. It's ok to admit it to a customer. You are NOT in a competition with us to see who's right or wrong. My tires did get rotated but come to find out, they did NOT even get balanced. But wait, there's more. While I was wondering how air could majically escape from a tire that is being rotated, I notice that one of my tires had a big bald spot which would explain the poor balance. Are these people too busy to do their job? A professional would have seen the problem immediately and warned me. Well fine, I paid for the full warranty, I should be ok right? Nope. Not covered!!! I understand that must be policy but damn. Brian, honestly.... You need to fire at least one of your crew then resign so you can take some classes on how to handle customers. Seriously, The condition that your people left my van in was dangerous and that upsets me. I was driving with my 6 yr old son earlier. Your crew made some potentially serious mistakes that I would have overlooked with a smile but Brian, you failed miserably in the way you handled it. If anyone questions the validity of this review, I urge you to e-mail me or call me... (702) 768-8803. JIM

I called about to cry because i realized i had a huge nail in my rear tire after work and Chris was awesome telling me that my tire would be patched up for FREE. Well thats Discount Tire policy i guess but he never tried to talk me into buying new tires even tho i am going to need them soon.

Once i asked him what i needed he never tried to talk me into buying something too expensive instead he told me exatly what i needed to know in order to do my homework.

I love sales people that are not pushy! And his attitude made me want to go back and spend the money my truck deserves!

thanks Chris!!!

PROS: They got GREAT service
CONS: none
