Do not go here! It was a waste of time and money. The animals were in tiny, smelly, makeshift cages. Everything was dirty. I would not even consider this a zoo. Their advertisement was very misleading. The employees were very nice, but

We ended up leaving and asking for a refund which was granted!
This Zoo is honestly not the worst I have seen but it is not good either. It is very dirty and the animals are kept in very small and un-kept cages. There is no room to run for the animals. It does seem that most of the staff has a good relationship with the animals.HOWEVER, on our particular visit there was a very angry lion in a tiny cage who was aggressively attacking the gate and digging to get out. One of the teenage - early twenty's Zoo managers was screaming at people to get away from the cage. We all moved on to another animal. My famiily and I were discussing the issue and our feelings that the lion should be moved to a better place for her since we noticed several broken teeth in her mouth, realizing this was not the first time she had acted in this manner. Mid discussion the same individual who screamed at us earlier decided to come down and yell that if we did not like it we should just leave and did not have to be here. I reminded her that we PAID to be here to see the animals and they had an animal that did not like the surroundings and should be moved or at least a sign put up. She and I continued to argue until I finally realized the situation and asked for her name. She gave me her name and told me the only person above her was the owner since she was a manager. So we left to the front store and I reported to the owner, who did refund our money but was in his late 70-80's and really appeared to be too busy to care. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. IF YOU WANT TO SEE ANIMALS IN THIS AREA GO TO THE ANIMAL ARC IN RED ROCK. It is a bit further to drive but way worth it. Better people, better places, happier animals.

I thought it was nice going to a small local zoo, but I didn't think the animals would be in such small cages. It's really sad to see a lion and lioness in a cage the size of my bedroom! Don't they need space to run?? :( The management was very friendly, and everything seemed clean enough, I just left feeling really bad for the animals.

This is a nice little zoo. It is not to big but they have some great animals. The last time we visited we got to see the Liger. He looks just like a lion but with tiger stripes. They also have a small little gift shop.
