I went here when i was trying to find a gym to join. Left his one hanging in the air like they left me. The staff was not approachable or even nice, they wouldn't even let me walk through the facility or use any equipment. However, I know a few friends who like the gym and refuse to go elsewhere.

I was a member of Golds Gym but have since switched to another gym. The staff were nice, but I felt uncomfortable because most of the people working out when I did, were men and very muscular. I didn't feel there was a good mixture of members, so I wouldn't reccommend this gym to women.

I joined World Gym with a one year membership. Part way through the year,I was seriously injured - requiring surgery & cast, followed by physical therapy.I notified World Gym that I would not be able to finish out my contract due to injuries & provided Dr. notes as proof. They said "no problem", we'll just put you on a medical freeze. The contract did state in one of the clauses, that the contract could be terminated due to a medical need, but I had no Idea World Gym was up to no good and had no intention of letting me out of my contract. The just did a 3 month freeze, followed by another 3 month freeze. Then they started sending me bills for the period of time we were not able to go to the gym. To make a long story short, after months and months of deceipt, being hung up on, letters and phone calls which were not returned and general rudeness, I get a collection letter, followed by a law suit - all over a few months of gym services which I never received! All be warned - World Gym is an organization based on greed and nothing else. I wonder if Arnold Swartzeneggar knows what kind of people he's associated with?
