I'm very disappointed in my visit to this clinic. My dog had 2 seizures for the first time. I was shown an estimate that was $650 to keep her for the night and give her meds and bloodwork. Our family is really struggling right now and under a lot of stress. I was upset and said I can't afford that so I will take her home. The female nurse/tech who was very condescending throughout the visit told me to pull myself together and give her a price I can afford so they can treat my dog. I said no more than $200 so maybe I can just take home some meds. She said no we don't do that you need to sign a release that you are leaving against medical advise. I completely understand AMA as well as the importance of treating my dog. However, I feel that this worker has no empathy. I believe she works with animals because she has no people skills therefore she should not interact with the animals owners.
I don't Know about Dr. SImon but Dr. Parantala has been amazing with my Dog and me. She takes all the time in the world to talk to me and she is very meticulous when she is checking my dog. I have been taking my dog since he was 8 weeks old and I haven't had a problem. I highly recommend this hospital. Dr. Parantala is a very honest and a very loving person. My dog now is 2 he is healthy and happy dog and not afraid to see his doctor!

I have been taking my pets to this vet for a few years and Dr. Simon is very good. The staff is very friendly and treats and handles the pets with care.
The review from Stephanie sounds like a she is a disgruntle employee that is black balling this vet and the practice, which is a shame, for her downfalls that she can't keep a job.

I have known Dr. Simon for 12 years and he has given us nothing but the best everytime we show up. He has been practicing for over 25 years and his diagnostic skills are top notch. The staff is friendly and so kind to my animals. I never had any reason to go anywhere else and with service like this i never will.

We have been taking our animals to Dr Simon for 13 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. My first pet which was a Sharpe had epilepsy and suffered from seizures. Doc Simon was always there, from support and medical care, to the tough decisions of putting him down. The staff at W.S.A.H. were just the most caring and wonderful people ever. My dog died at the doctors during a seizure and Dr Simon and his staff were just a rock of support and care. They handled taking care of my beloved pet and after they had him cremated for me he was return in a beautiful ceder and brass box. All this and it wasn't highway robbery either. Although I would have paid whatever the cost. It was nice to know I wasn't taken advantage of in my fragile state. We now have two new dogs and they both go to Dr Simon. God bless Dr Simon and the staff at warm springs animal hospital!

I came into this place for my dog to have a basic check-up. The wait time was 35 minutes before we we're called into the room. We waited another 20 minutues to have a doctor to perform a basic check-up on my dog. The service was at most average. Overall- not good and not bad.

We started taking our dogs here when we first moved to Vegas and lived down the block. The staff was so pleasant and friendly. After a few trips you were like one of the family. Doc Mike Simon has been the best. He treats are dogs and all other animals well and gives them the best care. He has helped us make hard decisions when we had to. He does give the dogs the best of care and after surgery or other problem he does follow up to see how they are doing. We moved way accross town but still make the drive when our pets need anything.
PROS: A vet that is good to pets and people.
CONS:

I have used this vet for several years. As far as the quality of service and care I would say it is satisfactory. Staff has been friendly when I went in. However, I will not be returning to this vet again.
Service is satisfactory but not outstanding. I would say on par with a lot of other vet clinics. Other than shots I have also taken my dog to have her teeth cleaned and to be spayed (which both require putting her under with anesthesia). Anytime I had any procedure done I have always been charged more than the price I was repeatedly quoted. This is not $5-10 more but $40-60 more. You know that feeling you get when you have your wallet in your hand at checkout and you know you just got taken advantage of but there is nothing you can do about it? That happens most times I have been here.
So that is why I won't be returning. My dog is my daughter and I will do anything she needs. I just don't like being taken advantage of either. One very important thing to consider when choosing any vet clinic is to make sure they are a pain free clinic for if you need any procedure done. If you do use this clinic make sure you get ALL prices in writing first. You will always be charged more than verbally quoted.
My wife and I recently took out cat in because she was not doing too well. Dr. Simon took care of our cat and she is doing much better now! The staff was very nice and so was the vet. We are going to change our vet to Warm Springs because we were very happy and because we have recently moved. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Pros: Friendly staff, clean, reasonable prices
Cons: None
Have only been a couple of times and didnt get any feeling from anyone there. Have seen two different vets and many different counter people. Who can know your animal by that?
Pros: Fast servcie
Cons: Different people at the counter each time
Hi everyone. I would not recommend taking your animal to this place. The doctor is unhappy and he takes it out on his employees and animals. He puts on a false front..its a very different story when your animal is out of sight. Trust me i know!!! I would not post this if it was not true.
Pros: sorry but there are no pros
Cons: almost everything..the treatment of the animals, treatment of staff, horrible environment
I have taken my pets to Warm Springs Animal Hospital for about 8 years. I would definitely recommend this doctor to anyone who loves their pet. Very friendly staff and a compassionate and understanding doctor. I had a very sick dog and Dr. Simon was caring and very helpful to make me understand what was wrong. I will continue to take me pets here...
Pros: friendly, caring, great $
Cons: ? I can't think of anything
Great care and a friendly staff....I have been taking my pets there for several years. Dr. Simon is wonderful with animals.
Pros: Compassionate care
Cons: none
Good place to get health care for your pet. Efficient staff and ethical doctors. My pet has received multiple procedures without complications. Doctors there do not try to gouge you with unecessary meds. like other facilities in the valley
Pros: efficient staff
Cons: lots of users, may have to wait to be seen
