Planet Nissan gave me the best deal
by Jennifer L.
I was shopping for a car for months, and I finally decided on the Altima. I contact all of the Nissan Dealerships in town, and told them "Whichever dealership gives me the best deal, is where I will buy" Planet nissan gave me the best deal, and that is where I bought my Nissan Altima, and I love it!

Planet Nissan cares about their customers!
by Kelly R.
I called into Planet Nissan because, I really, really needed a car, since mine had just broken down. I spoke to someone in the Internet Department, I told them my situation, and even though I do not have the best of credit, they offered to pick me up and give me a ride to the dealership. Once I got to the dealership, they approved me for an inexpensive car, and I couldn't be happier! Even after I bought the car, my salesman still calls me to see how the
car is, he even called me for my birthday!

After searching many dealerships, it was very refreshing to go to Planet Nissan and be treated with respect. They had the vehicle that fit my needs, and were very easy to work with..

Planet Nissan is a Scam - go somewhere else.
by David G.
My God what a bunch of pirates !, If Lying was an art-form, then this place is the Louvre.
If you want some entertainment, go to this dealer and tell them you are looking for a new car, you will be treated to a stunning display of the worlds worst closing techniques - anything but actually discuss how to get a reasonable deal. If you are looking to buy a car - go somewhere else.

Planet Nissan
by Sean S.
I was looking for a car for my wife, she was interested in an Altima. Everything went very smooth - and I was impressed with the "no pressure" style Jesse handled us with (abnormal for a dealership). In fact, I went back the next week and purchased a used F150 I saw there during our 1st purchase. I needed a new work truck and they had a great selection. My sister and brother-in-law are buying a Sentra from Jesse because of the great customer service. I saved a lot of money compared to the prices at the ford dealers. I would buy there again. I read some other ratings on the dealership. It seems like the few upset customer commented... I had such a great one - I thought Id share. I highly recommend Planet Nissan.

Planet Nissan is AWESOME
by Andrew V.
I love this place. I have purchased two cars from this place from the same salesperson, and I would be more than happy to buy another one from there!!! The salesmen are fantastic, and the finance team was awesome. I would highly recommend seeing the "Ice Man" if you want to make a smart purchase!

Planet Nissan is a great place to buy a car.
by Gary V.
I was looking for a car 2 weeks ago and it seemed like everywehre I looked I got the same story. If you want to buy this car you need to put way too much money down and have a payment that is out of my budget. So I called Planet Nissan and I was expecting the same story. But for a change they told me I could do exactly what I was trying to accomplish on the car I actually wanted. By the way I have good credit. So I thought when I go there they would give me the same story, but they didn't. The salesman I talked to gave me the same numbers he quoted me and I was in and out of there in less than 2 hours. I just want to say that if you are looking for a car and you aren't getting straight answers give them a call. I am positive you will be impressed.

Planet Nissan is the worst nissan dealership in the planet!
by J F.
Service department is just as bad as their sales. Ongoing warranty work been over 2 months for something so simple still not yet resolved. Service advisor not very dependable. Cant forget the 6hr wait for an oil change! and the little b!tch phone operator for incoming calls was very rude and will interupt you while talking and explaining something. Hope this dealership gets shut down for bad business.

They were one of the only car lots that greeted us as we walked around the parking lot looking at new cars. The salesman even walked out with a bottle of water for each of us. We test drove 2 cars and mentioned that we did not want to spend as much as the car was so we would sleep on it. The salesman was very kind and not agressive to us. The other car lots wouldn't give us the time of day after we said we wanted to shop around. We have decided to buy the Nissan mostly because of how great we were treated. Thanks and see ya on Monday :)

Planet Nissan: Thieves, Crooks and Liars
by D C.
If you're looking to buy a car with a hole in the gas tank, by all means, Planet Nissan is the right choice. The used car manager, Sam Amir, is the worst kind of crook there is. Avoid these thieves like the plague! Don't give them a dime!

Bad, very bad experience
by Leslie S.
We broke down while on vacation and had to buy a new car to get home. We were prepared for the "tricks of the trade" and fought valiantly for the price on the car we wanted. We put up with the crap because we only had 1 day to get a car and we found the one we wanted. We did get the car we wanted at the price we wanted, but the experience was bad.
These guys were relentless at bringing cars that while fit the model we wanted, were thousands more than the one we asked them to show us. We had done our homework and from their internet ad, they had several of the car in our price range. I asked them to bring the ones in our range, they said they would. I would get excited about the one they brought, we started the paper work only to find out they brought us a car that was $4,000 higher than the one we asked to see. They did this twice before I demanded (in an "angry woman" way) to see the one we came to see. They finally did. It was such a waste of time. We should have left, but chose to stay because we wanted that particular car. Yes, we chose to stay. We didn't have to time to be hopping from dealership to dealership.
The clincher came at financing. We discussed with the sales manager the extended warranty. He assured us we could buy it in a year when the manufacturers was over. We just didn't want to add an extra couple thousand to the price. So when we were signing papers, the finance man tells us that we have to buy the extended warranty right then or it wouldn't be certified. I blew up, and they knocked a couple hundred off the price of the warranty. But someone had lied to us. Having always bought extended warranties at the time we bought a car, we weren't sure who was lying. So we bought it. The finance guy lied, directly to our faces. I point blank asked him for the truth and he point blank lied to my face.
When we got home, we called our local Nissan dealership (with whom we've bought another Nissan from) and he told us that we did in fact NOT have to buy the extended warranty at time of purchase. Our bank assured us that the dealership makes big $$ off the warranties. Luckily for us, you are allowed 60 days for a refund on the extended warranty, so we did get it refunded.
These guys have the game down to an art form. They brought in all kinds of different people to butter us up, to make us think we were getting great service, and that they cared about us. We knew they were playing a game, and we played along, but it was a big fight to get what we wanted. And the fact that the finance man lied to our faces with another sales manager right there trying to placate us was really bad.
IN the end, we did get the car we wanted at the price we wanted. Like I said, we fought because we didn't have time to go elsewhere to repeat the process. But, they play games to the death so be prepared and do not trust them.

Bad service department!! I MEAN REALLY BAD!!
by Zachary P.
I bought my sentra 2 years ago but not from planet nissan. About 1 year ago I was having my engine light come on and my rpms would not hit over 2500rpm. At first they told me it was my MAF sensor, so a new MAF sensor installed. 2 days later same thing happend again.. they now tell me its my intake manifold.. a week goes bye, same thing happend again. I am not 100% sure but I know it was close to a month before they finaly found out it was my engine harness and I got my car back.. For about a half a year my car has been running awsome! Well about 4 days ago i decided to buy a new clutch and flywheel and payed Planet nissan to install it. They call me that day telling me that 2 of my flywheel bots are stripped and will cost me an extra $400 dollars for them to cut the flywheel off, I was already going to pay $400 for my transmission install. So i just told them to put the new clutch in and leave the flywheel. The next day I pickup my car and the alignment was off. So I bring my car back again to get the alignment fixed, the next day they tell me that nothing was wrong with my car and that all they did was rebalance my tires... Now when I brought my car in, the only problem it had was the clutch was going out, now my car handles like crap and im trying to get it fixed. Now is it friday Feb 22. 2008- I go back to get my car, I leave planet nissan to go eat, while on my way when i entered the freeway doing 60mph my car started to shake very badly. When I left the resturant my aftermarket exhaust seemed a little out of place, well when I looked under the back of my car my exhaust along with the bottom of my trunk looked to have been bent upward looking as if it fell off a lift or something was under my car when the car was let down the lift. I opened my trunk and my spair tire that use to be under the carpet was now almost touching the top of my trunk lid from the inside. I also smelt gas fumes in my car I am guessing my gas tank is damaged too. So the first thing I did was go right back to planet nissan and talked to some sales manager guy and other people. It's now is around 8 or 9 at night so the service department was closed. So far all I know is they told me to come back at seven in the morning.. I will be there 7am on the dot we will see what they have to say to me and what I have to say to them.... I am very very upset about all this crap that has happend to my car it use to be a nice car untell I brought it to planet nissan... I no longer like my 02 spec v.. it is now worth nothing to me or the person i was going to sell it too.. I will see saturday morning what will happen, I am hopeing all goes well.. I'm not telling anyone to not use there service department but I sure as hell know I will never ever bring a car near that service dept. again. / The planet nissan service dept. are now playing games with me, and still will not admit what they have done to my car.. They are trying to blame me for the damage done witch is WRONG!!! SOMEONE AT PLANET NISSAN KNOWS WHAT HAS HAPPEND TO MY CAR IF NOT THE TECHNITIONS IT WAS THE SERVICE REP WHILE HE WAS ON A TEST DRIVE! SOMEONE KNOWS!!!! DO NOT SHOP PLANET NISSAN OR USE THERE SERVICE DEPT!!!! Also The service manager is disrespectful and will not help at all we will see what nissan corp can do to help me with this problem...

Completely dishonest - don't trust them!
by Anonymous
We bought a car from Planet Nissan recently. It was a horrible experience. The car was in awful condition (dents, dirty, pant chipping, etc....). The day after we bought it the radio stopped working and we started having to turn the key three times to start it. Not only that, but we signed a contract for a certain amount and a certain percentage rate. The next day we heard some horror stories about Planet Nissan changing the contracts and the rates so we called their finance manager. He assures us that, that hardly ever happens and that if it does that it might happen to one out of every one hundred deals. Sure enough the very next day they called. They lied on the phone and told us that we had to sign a few more papers. When we got there we found out that they wanted to raise our percentage rate 4.5 points - because they were going to finance us now. Hmmmmmm........... This place is down right shady. The deal took forever and we now have a car that is going to need about $1,000 worth of work just to get it to start properly and we've only had it for about 48 hours.

dishonest-the reason that no one trusts auto salesmen
by Marissa L.
A family friend (73-years old) purchased a Nissan Murano from Planet Nissan. Six months later, she became paralyzed during surgery. Needless to say, the car was useless in her bedridden condition.
Her daughter spoke to a manager and was told just to turn the vehicle in to them and how much he empathized with their circumstances. When the vehicle was returned to the dealership, the very ignorant daughter (not used to Vegas salesmen) assumed that the manager was a man of his word & that there would be no other complications. He assured her that his family had been through a similar issue.
Lo and behold, the auto was sold at auction and Nissan is now insisting that the $8,000. difference be paid off. What a guy! I hope he sleeps well & can look at himself in the mirror knowing that his dishonesty is placing this woman that always worked so hard to maintain her credit is facing dire financial consequences. Thanks for your "empathy."

Be Careful! These people won't hesitate to screw you!
by B R.
I did a lot of homework before buying a vehicle, and only bought it from Planet Nissan because they had the Nissan model I was looking for. I was pleased with the product I bought, but the lying salesman, and deceptive, manipulative sales and finance personnel made the deal a miserable experience. I'm glad I could afford to pay for the vehicle outright to ensure these cheats couldn't make more money off of me, but them wanting me to sign a "back up contract" (with ripoff financing, an increased sales price and inflated monthly payments) left a foul taste in my mouth. The legality of this practice is questionable, and Planet Nissan couldn't produce anything written to say that its back up contract would be null and void if the original contract stipulations aren't honored. This amounts to a deceptive business practice, which can be used to screw you big time! My advice: schedule an entire day to go over all documents they want you to sign. Be prepared to walk away from the deal if there is something you don't like, and don't ever sign anything they could use to twist to their advantage. Don't get yourself in a situation where you are desperate to buy a vehicle from them. Also, when reading reviews please remember that dealerships have gotten wind that web sites like this exist, so encourage their employees (under false names) to write glowing reviews about their performance. A positive note: of all the Nissan dealerships in Las Vegas, Planet Nissan was my top pick. If you go to Douglas, Desert or United Nissan, your experience will be a hell of a lot worse. (What does that say about car shopping in Las Vegas? Don't ever consider Towbin Dodge- Chop is the absolute King of Crooks!)

Our steering wheel was vibrating when we were driving over 55 mph, so we brought our 14 month old van in.
Immediately, the service technician asks if we have done the 15,000 mile tune up. I said that we had not, but we had been prompt with our oil changes and tire rotations. He advised me that we needed to do this to maintain the warranty. I thanked him for his help, and I explained (again) the problem that I was having with the steering wheel. He askes me when I could schedule the tune up. I ask him if he is confident that the tune up will fix my problem (considering he hadn't even looked at my car, much less drive it)... he said no.
So now I am getting angry and I explain that I want to know why my quite new van is doing this. With an attitude, he agrees to have a technician drive it and give me an answer. After 30 minutes of waiting, no one has taken my keys yet... I walked out.
Maybe it was because I am female, they thought they could scam me. I don't know.... that's my assumption... but clearly they wanted more money regardless of what my problem was with my van.
(I ended up going to a shop and got my tires realigned, problem fixed)

When we were looking for a new car we hadn't even thought of a Nissan. We saw Planet Nissan when we went to the Toyota dealer. Planet Nissan was really laid out nice. We were immediately greated by a fine young man named Eric. He showed us cars till we found one we liked and stayed in the price range we wanted. When we talked trade in and deal we got the best offer over any of the other car dealers. Bought the car and have returned for service several times now. The entire staff has been excellent and take the best care of us and our car. If we ever need another car I am positive we will buy it from Planet Nissan. They also have the best looking Vans we have seen.
