One of my Favorites!  4 Star Rating - Very good

The first time I went, they were having a Sunday Jazz Buffet Brunch which was excellent. Since then they have discontinued this, but ordering off the menu is good as well. The Oxtails, Hot Links, Collard Greens, Fried Potatoes with Onions are very good.

PROS: Great Location, Prices, Staff
CONS: Slow Order Preparation Time - Don't go if you are in a hurry!

Dishonest... and will never go back.  1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

Initially, we were excited about the Southern Cajun Cuisine and the coupon that we had to dine here. The dining coupon we had was from a nationally reputable organization that Soul 2 Soul Bistro affiliates with. The certificate had certain rules (such as bill total must be over $35, only to be used Sun-Thurs, valid on dine in only, etc.) as most of them do. So, we ensured that we met the conditions of the rules.
Upon our arrival, we presented our $25 dining certificate to our waitress. She said for us just to give it to her when we were finished with our meal. We enjoyed our lunch, 2 full meals, an appetizer, soft drinks, and a childs meal. Our bill total was about $42.00.
Again, we gave our waitress our dining certificate and a credit card to pay for the remainder of the bill. She needed assistance entering the certificate in the computer, so the manger (owner) assisted her. While doing this, he felt that all the rules were not met so he would not redeem the certificate. We saw him explaining his reasoning to the waitress, and cowardly he went to hide in the back. So, she came over to us and explained that HE did not feel that we had two entrees and therefore, he wouldnt accept the certificate. She was very puzzled as to his reasoning why we were also. So, we asked to speak to him directly. He was hesitant to come over and speak to us, but he finally did (weve now been there for over an hour). Nowhere in the menu does it state specifically entrees. He explained that entrees are typically the catfish and other seafood items, which we didnt know nor did anyone tell us as while we were ordering when our waitress knew that we were planning on using our dining certificate. Also, the menu was a sheet of paper, it was not a regular professional menu which we had trouble reading in the first place.
The behavior demonstrated throughout this ordeal was sneaky and dishonest. We paid the $42, but we felt that he took advantage of our patronage

PROS:
CONS: He must have needed the $25 desperately to be so deceitful with a play on w
