Wouldn't trust anyone else!  4 Star Rating - Very good

The Doctor is fantastic. I have been going there for 7 years and he has seen all of my dogs, cats and turtles. He is a no-fuss doctor who will let you know what is going on without all the extra charges. My only problem is the office staff is not the same standard, but I will put up with them because I love the doctor! Would always recommend this animal hospital.

You get what you pay for.....  1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

I called around places to get my dog neutered. He was a more expensive neuter as he didn't drop. N Las Vegas was the cheapest. I took him in and the place is smelly and old, Like a old cat box that has never been changed! The front staff are unprofessional. The dress in ratty t-shirts and shorts. One girl was had most her belly showing! They MADE me get a LYME shot for $18. Never since I have had animals here in Vegas have I had to get Lyme shots. We don't have ticks in Vegas, and even then the Lyme shot is controversial but said it HAD to be done or I couldn't have him fixed (I should have walked out then!)

The vet came in a was very short and not very nice. He grabbed by dog and flipped him over to feel him like he was viscous or something (he is a small, very friendly, loving dog!) He walked out with my dog without even saying bye or letting me say by to my dog. Gave me no instructions of when to pick him up, etc. I had to call later the evening to see how he was doing. When I had my other dog fixed at a different vet, they took 2 min out of their day to call and let me know he/she was ok~how hard is that?

When I called I asked for a total (after the surgery was done) so I could have my cash before hand, he said he couldn't tell me, why not?
When I picked him up, they gave no instructions on how to care for him, it was really disappointing and I would never rec them to anyone.

It wouldn't be a bad place if the vet and staff showed a little compassion and caring and acted like they like animals! Also, add some air freshner!

I should have just paid the $75 more to take him to my regular vet. The savings wasn't worth the frustration and anxiety

Great but would be nice to have more locations!  4 Star Rating - Very good

Just want to say that this place is really cheap they might not be the nicest veterinary place but their very nice and have 50% off on shots on weekends.Would be nice if they had more locations.

INCOMPETENT VET  1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

I took a stray kitten I had found at work to Dr. Stoecklin to have him checked out to make sure he had nothing that could be given to the 2 cats I already had at home. Dr. Stoecklin "examined" him for approx. 30 seconds (not kidding) and told me he had an upper respiratory infection, which I thought was odd because the kitten had never sneezed, wheezed and did not have runny eyes, and prescribed an antibiotic. I asked Dr. Stoecklin if that was why the kitten had uneven skin tone on his nose and lips - which he repied "yeah, probably". I had thought that the kitten had a skin condition that he could give me a shampoo for. I assumed I that since the doctor had seen him, I could take him out of my bedroom where he had been quarantined and let him meet my 2 cats. One week later my face is completely covered in large red welts that were shaped like circles which I thought initially was hives. But they didn't get better, if anything it was worse a couple days later. Then a co-worker got the same circles on her face - which told me what I had was contagious. I went to see a doctor and was told I had ringworm. I looked up on the internet what symptoms kittens showed who had ringworm. My kitten showed MANY VISIBLE SIGNS of ringworm at the time I took him to Dr. Stoecklin - whick makes me wonder if this quack actually has a license because now that I know the signs of ringworm in kittens, it should have been VERY OBVIOUS to someone who had medical training. Do you and your pet a favor and take them somewhere, no anywhere else!

Wonderful Place  5 Star Rating - World class

The people at this vet are wonderful. On the weekends they have half price shots. Tlhey also will bath and brush your animal for around 8 bucks. The have always cared about my animals when I take them in there. They also accept the spay or neuter voucher that you can get around the first of the year from the county. I wont use another vet.

verterinarian  4 Star Rating - Very good

We think North Las Vegas animal hospital is great. We have been taking our dogs there for about fifteen years, and have always been treated with respect and kindness. Our animals have also been treated quite well and the half price shots on weekends are a very good money saver.

PROS: Excellent vet and good prices
CONS: some of the front office help don't seem to know what they are doing.

BAD BUSINESS  1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

WE TOOK,OUR CAT IN AND HE WAS SICK,HE PASSED ON,WE HAD HIM CREMATED. WE WENT BACK A FEW MONTHS LATER TO RETRIEVE OUR XL PET CARRIER.ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES STOLE IT,WE COMMUNICATED WITH THE OFFICE THAT WE WOULD BE IN TO GET THE CARRIER, ESTABLISHING WITH THE OFFICE,THAT WE WOULD PICK IT UP. IT WAS REALLY EXPENSIVE AND WE NEVER GOT IT BACK.BOTTOM LINE NEVER LEAVE YOUR ANIMAL CARRIER THERE UN LESS YOU NEVER WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN.

PROS: SERVICES MODERATELY PRICED
CONS: EMPLOYEES STEAL FROM PAYING CUSTOMERS.
