Weights are never racked. Locker room smells (and not exactly of roses). Employees seem to always be in a bad mood. Gym is always unbearable busy.

yes, treadmills have plugs for iPods, but weights are rarely racked; mats, medicine/Swiss balls could be anywhere in the gym.

This gym is always crowded and you cool down each time you need to be in line to use the next

If you join this club MAKE SURE you don't give them your credit card number! Pay the few additional bucks each month to pay online or by mail. Believe me, it's a nightmare to get them to spot billing your card. Worst customer service ever. You've been warned.

I signed up and went at first then slowly started just skipping out. Come to find out canceling would mean I have to pay 700 (I got the premier package). Know what I did when I found this out???? I WENT TO THEIR GYM!!! I'm starting to go on a regular basis. I'm gonna use it to it's full potential. And you know what, them scamming me out of my money is probably one of the healthiest things that's ever happened to me! I think the rest of you non goers should give it a go! You payed for a reason anyway! We all should have asked more questions and read the full contract. I think in the long run it is a great gym! I hope to see all you nay sayers there!

I was completely sold on their contact. I called about cancelling, can only cancel if I pay the full contract amount of $500. I don't use the membership the way I thought I would. I think the contract isn't fair & you should only have to pay as you use it. The only way I found to get out of the contract without penalties is to get a doctor's note to say that I can no longer excercise indefinitely. There is no other way to cancel it. Completely not fair. I will never endorse LVAC to anyone, ever. I fell they are scammers.

I went in just to check things out. I'm shopping around for a health club, and thought Id stop in. I ended up walking out of a high pressure sales pitch, and trashing my info on the way out. Do I really want to go to a club that has to be sold like a used car? I feel sorry for everyone who fell for it.

I think the other reviewers are dead wrong. Lets take a look at the community provided gyms in town they charge you $3 dollars a day so if you worked out 3 times a week that is $9 and if you workout 4 weeks a month that is $36 dollars. My membership there only costs me $21 a month and I use it 4-5 times a week. Also they have been renovating the other clubs and building fabulous new clubs. Granted parking can be difficult at the new locations but they are great facilities that have just about anything you could want. Also unlike some of the other clubs you can go to any LVAC club without any additional fees. I have never had trouble getting a towel at the front desk. But I wonder how many people don't return their towels. I think for the price it is a wonderful deal. Also if you sign a contract for a two year deal you should read it. It is not much different than the cell phone contracts. You could have paid more for a month to month deal.

people there were quick and polite to sign you up however you cant get out of the membership. They will find ways to penalize you or charge you for everything and since they have your card info they can. Im still trying to cancel it without penalty.

Cons: Towels are never available

Let me first get the one positive out of the way....the gym was fine in regards to what it offered in equipment for the price. Now for the negatives....sales associates are misleading, gym is always packed, contract is disregarded by LVAC, and customer service is horrible.

I moved away from Las Vegas about seven months ago and I am still being hassled by LVAC. Right before I moved several months ago, I spoke with an associate to ensure everything would be taken care of, and I was given the conditions to break the contract. At that time I paid the $50 contract break fee, the one month termination fee, and thought that was the end of it. Then a few months later I receive a call from LVAC saying that I owe $93 in membership fees ($31 for 3 months). I sent this check stating final payment and also faxed a copy of my new lease showing proof that I no longer live there to avoid any further hassle. It has now been another 3 months since that payment and I just received another call asking for 2 more months of membership fees. They also said they have never received the faxed lease even though I received confirmation that they did. They had also cashed my check stating final payment. The customer service agent was also very, very rude.

So if you plan on signing up with this gym be prepared for this gym to work you over at the first opportunity. And if you move, certify mail everything as they apparently lose faxes and keep billing you. Or avoid the hassle altogether and join 24 Hour Fitness, which my boyfriend had no problems with when we moved out of state.

I had never gone to this place until my friend began teaching yoga there and invited me. the facilities were clean, not too crowded and the staff was so nice! I love this gym and have considered heading over there once I am done with my other gym contract.

I've been member of LVAC for over 3 years I used to go to gym on Karen street which wasn't bad at all, but now I go to the new gym on Eastern and 2-15 and is really great to be in such a clean and spacious gym. I really recommend it.

This place has bad customer service. I went to this place because I got an invitation from them to try the facility. The receptionist made me wait for 30 minutes because he said I needed to speak to one of the trainer before I was allowed to try the membership. I tried it once. By the way this place doesn't offer month to month membership. It's such a thief!

LVAC offers so many exercise equipments, pools, hot tubs, exercise classes, private class with your own personal trainer. It has childcare facility, salon and juice bar. I love all of the friendly and helpful crew members. So many equipments so you don't have to wait and the locker room is very clean.

I enjoyed the convenience & the locations near by that LVAC has to offer. Plus they have great on-line services & the gyms are extremely well equipped & clean. My only problem was trying to get out of my two year contract when I started school (FT school plus FT work = no time for the gym...) They were totally rude & told me they would expect me to honor my commitment & that my priorities weren't straight.. uh, what?

LVAC is save heaven for all fitness junkies or people who just want to be fit! The juice bar is great. The treadmills are taken on a full house though

PROS: Aquatic classes, kickboxing, the helpful trainers
CONS: Occupied gym equipment

This place have everything that you need to keep you in shape and stay healthy. All their supply are new and safe. The service is really good and they are all professional health trainers. The price isn't that bad and ladies can join for free, but gentlement have to pay a small fee to join.
