This is a great place if you like Hawaiian food. Coming from the islands there are times when I craved good local food. Aloha Kitchen is a place that can settle that craving!

this is one place i've been wanting to go to. all my friends and family has been telling me that they have such good hawaiian, chinese, and filipino food in town

This place has the best authentic food in town. The portions are huge, the price is reasonable and the mac salad is to die for! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

A great place to go to party or eat great hawiian food. The bar has 2$ drink specials on thursday nights, which is also hip hop nioght. Every other night throughout the week they have kareoke.

After living in Hawaii for 17 years and enjoying the local cuisine, my family and I were in the mood for some local kine grind (Hawaii locals know what I mean), so we stopped off at the ALOHA kitchen on Decatur for a plate lunch. The one thing that really disappointed me was the portion size, when our plate lunches arrived it was a lot smaller than what I had gotten used to in Hawaii, with the cost of living in Hawaii plate lunches usually ran about $5-7 depending on what you ordered. The prices were about the same at ALOHA kitchen, so when our orders where delivered my wife and I looked at each other in confusion and disbelief, that in a place that is considerably less expensive to live than Hawaii that they would be so tight with there serving sizes. So needless to say we spent what we would have spent on lunch back in Hawaii, but for me and my son we were left still a little hungry after we finished, but fortunately my daughter didnt finish her lunch so my son and I split what was left. Today I also was talking to another Hawaiian native -Las Vegas transplant and we were talking about local (Hawaiian) restaurants and had similar comments about ALOHA kitchen, neither favorable. The upside is that I didnt get some good info on other places to go and get a good plate lunch; once I do I will post it here to let you know. For now..........ALOHA (which means among other things both Hello and Good bye....

PROS: ALOHA also means GOOD BYE
CONS: Small portion size for the price
