The Graceland Chapel has been a part of the Las Vegas Strip for over 50 years and is one of the most prominent chapels for a wedding in Las Vegas. A Las Vegas wedding is one of the most appealing wedding ideas to celebrities, too. Jon Bon Jovi was married here and actually held a concert in our parking lot with 75 couples who renewed their vows with him. We've been featured in films such as "Fools Rush In" with Salma Hayek and Matthew Perry, "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" starring Johnny Depp; and several television shows, such as the CBS Early Show, MTV, VH1, Good Morning America and The Tonight Show. We offer fresh flowers, digital photography, limousine service, DVD/videotaping technology, and ceremonies broadcast over the Internet, all to make your wedding in Las Vegas memorable and an event to be cherished for your entire life.

In Short
This is it, the famous Las Vegas landmark; the 50-year-old Graceland Wedding Chapel, home of Elvis Presley-inspired weddings. From the outside, the chapel looks like a typical small church, complete with a pointy steeple and white picket fence. But where else would the "Viva Las Vegas" theme song play in the background as the bride walks down the aisle? The chapel can arrange a simple "I do," but their specialty is a grand hunka-hunka-burning-love ceremony. Prices range from the $55 Basic Ceremony to the $495 King's Package, which includes everything from the nuptials and champagne to T-shirts and the ubiquitous white-jumpsuited Elvis impersonator.

Key Points

  • Traditional weddings
  • Elvis weddings
  • Helicopter weddings

The Inside Scoop

  1. Know Before You Go - The Minister is nondenominational and the fee is $50-$100. Also, the suggested tip for your limo driver is $35 and up.
  2. Save Time - Reservations are required. This place is one of the hottest chapels on the Vegas wedding circuit.
  3. The Extras - For the ultimate in kitsch, we suggest going for it all: The King, the Priscilla white wedding dress and, of course, the video.

Elvis is in the building

by Marielle M. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 686

I know weddings are supposed to be all serious and such but I thought it would be funny to get married by Elvis. Ok, we didn't but "he" came out and did a photo with us. We got married on a Monday in July so we didn't need a reservation or anything. Yes, it was cost effective. (Yes, it has lasted!) We are going to renew our vows there one of these days. We still chuckle about the experience and don't feel cheated we didn't have a big wedding with all its stressful fanfare.

Fun

by L S. | top100 Top100 | Rank: 1

We checked this place out for our wedding. We opted not to go for one of their reasonably prices packages. We did enjoy talking to the sales staff and found the whole experience very interesting.

So much fun

by Shane H. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 7,809

We had the funnest wedding here. Elvis sang 3 songs and our guests had a great time. We still get compliments on how much fun it was. The price was well worth the entertainment.

Definitely the right choice

by HeatherSch

When we decided to go ahead and get married in Vegas, we didn't want to spend a lot on the ceremony, but I also didn't want a place that would be totally cheesy or trashy. The Graceland Storybook Chapel was perfect.

The prices are reasonable. The complimentary limo service was great - the limo looked new and was shiny and very clean, inside and out. It also had very discreet initials on the side window rather than a big glaring advertisement like you see on some of the other chapel's limos. The chapel itself is very pretty and once the doors are closed you get virtually no noise pollution.

The staff was fantastic and everyone from the booking agent to the limo driver to the minister and photographer were friendly and helpful. They made sure we knew exactly what we needed to do from the first step to the last, so there were no awkward moments or times when we wondered if everything was taken care of or worried that we might forget something.

The ceremony was brief, but it was in no way lacking in respect or meaning. I had worried that it would be cheesy and feel too rushed (it is Vegas), but those fears were entirely unfounded. The minister did a great job of not giving the impression that this was his twenty millionth ceremony or that we were just names on a piece of paper, and he performed the ceremony with feeling and respect. I actually ended up in tears, and I NEVER cry over things like that, so it was especially striking to me how special he made it for us and that we were able to make it for each other.

The photographer was very friendly and took a bunch of pics. I usually hate pictures of myself and feel lucky if there's one I don't totally loathe, but when I saw them afterward they were all pretty good and I was happy to have the ones I got.

If you want just a little bit of fuss, a short but meaningful ceremony and to save your money for the important bits- the honeymoon!- I definitely recommend this chapel. Wonderful experience.

Pros: Fast and inexpensive, but still respectful and meaningful

Cons: None so far!

A memorable Las Vegas Wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by mrsohgal

I would highly recommend Graceland Wedding Chapel to those who chose to marry in Las Vegas. The Chapel is very quaint, but pretty and historial looking. It is set in RIGHT downtown! I made the reservations months in advance and when I showed up it was like I just talked to them yesterday! The flowers were pretty and the photographer was awesome! The minister was from the BUCKEYE state which was a plus to my husband and I! Our limo driver Justin was just wonderful and was even early to our hotel to pick us up! It is a quick ceremony - IN & OUT so if you are looking for a long drawn out affair, this is not the place. It was very pretty and we have great pictures and great memories. The are awesome and a great price.

Lynnette & Michael (Aaron) From OHIO GO BUCKS!

Pros: Very quick...Very professional...Great Price...Great Photography...Staff was wonderful!

Cons: Was okay to us...But VERY IN AND OUT and NEXT - but it is Vegas!

New Years Eve Ceremony

by AndreaMegliola

My husband Tom and I were married at Graceland Wedding Chapel on December 31, 2000! It was an awesome and unforgettable experience! Our wedding was filmed by a local news crew and was on the evening news that New Years Eve - strangers even recognized us around town after the broadcast! It was an experience of a lifetime!

vow renewal

by lizziebruin

My husband and I renewed our marriage vows for our 5th year anniversary at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in front of Elvis. They were great! Our Elvis spoke beautifully. He seemed to really speak from his heart. Many of our guests were teary-eyed! I would recommend this place 100%!

Elvis lives!! He performed our ceremony!

by Heather_Hughes

This was just a fantastic experience. My husband and I got married on Okinawa and have wanted a ceremony by Elvis for a long time. For our 10th anniversary we went to Las Vegas, had the limo and all. If you are going to do this go all the way and get Elvis, the limo, video, pictures, etc. The cake was delicious!! Thanks for helping to make our 10th anniversary a memorable one!

Pros: Reservations avail, Good prices, Great video

Cons: Shirts need an update, No reception area
