a catchy name for a charming store
by lynette c.
While in Vegas I always like to visit a quirky little used bookstore and in the past always went to Albion. Discovering that they were closed, I looked on-line for another....they are getting few and far between! The dead Poet sounded interesting and it certainly lives up to its name. Lots of interesting artwork and couches to sit in and piles of books everywhere. While it is well organized and clean it gives the charming impression that the owners would rather read than sort everything out. Both of the women at the counter were fun to talk to about philosophy and life. I really enjoyed my visit and left with warm feelings and a stack of interesting inexpensive books. All the place needs is a lazy tomboy cat lying on one of the chairs and it would be perfect!

Dead Poet Books is one of the two used bookstores that I know of in town. It is centrally located in the southwest on Rainbow Boulevard. The store has a friendly staff, and unfortunately for them, pretty long hours everyday of the week. They also have books in a wide range of subjects. I would recommend this store more than the other not only because of the location, but also the staff.

When I first walked into Dead Poet Bookstore, I was really impressed with the decor and lay out of this bookstore. This is a very clean and well organized establishment. They are stocked with many hard to find and out of print books. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I am looking forward to doing long term business with these people, and I do hope more patrons visits this store. You will really appreciate its beauty.
PROS: Customer Service, Helpful Staff, Prices and Selection
CONS: They can squeeze a few more books on their shelves
