They have pretty good entertainment for $20.00 that gives you a few hours of fun. The games are pretty old and beat up. It's not as upbeat as it was in it's original days. Still a pretty fun place though.

This is a great place for your kids to come and enjoy a day filled with arcade games and climb the walls as well. The price is per day per person but worth it. Your child is safe and you don't have to worry about them while your playing the slot machines.

This is like no other aracade. Not only do they have games but also a rock wall. The whole family can enjoy themselves down under the streets of Vegas playing their hearts out. Worth the price to keep the kids happy.

Gameworks

I had to take care of 5 small cousins and my aunt recommended me to bring them to gameworks as there are not many things that children ages 8-13 can agreeed on except arcades. And I would have to say the money was well worth it. I spend $37 ($35 for all day pass and $2 for the card) for each person and we stayed there for a total of 7 hours. All 6 of us were hooked on playing Derby's Owner Club and we didn't want to leave the place for lunch. When we went back there, we have to wait for over an hour before someone left the game. The game is about breeding a horse and competing in races with other players. I recommend anybody going there to play this game! However its best to get the all day pass and spend a day playing it.

Gameworks is a great place for local teens to hang out. It offers rock climbing, arcade games and tons of other stuff. What makes it even better is tat it is near Coca-Cola World and the M&M Factory. All of these places are kid friendly and a nice change from the casinos. In my opinion it is a little pricey, but if you are on vacation it is worth the money.

Finally Something for Under 21 on the Strip!

If you're under 21 and want to do ANYTHING on the strip, you'll have difficulty...at least this is one place to hang out at. The games are all operated with card machines so you won't have to lug around a bunch fof coins. There is a great selection of games including games that are also motion rides. However, expect to pay $20+ to play a decent number of games. Buy packages by the hour to get the best deal. In addtion, a 60ft.+ rock wall sits right in the center of Gameworks for the daring. To avoid crowds, avoid the weekends, and beware if you're unde 18 -- they WILL card you after curfew on the Strip.

I took my brother here for his 7th birthday. His favorite game was a virtual reality one where you stood in a circle and your on screen character moved like you did. There were all kinds of games to choose from and we both had a great time. The downside is that it is pretty expensive, but its on the strip and thats why.

Gameworks is probably one of the funnest places on the strip for the people that are under 21. They have a ton of arcade games, they all kinds of different types of games. You can get some discounts at their website. Some of the times I have been there it has kinda been stinky in some spots.

It seems that every video game imaginable is represented at GameWorks. Where else can you take part of im air, land and sea battles as you climb into animated jet fighters and tanks. At GameWorks, you are able to create your own version of reality. But not all of the game are so high tech. The "old school" games of arcades are represented here as well, including Ms. Pac-Man. There are number of pinball machines, air hockey, mechanical-bull and other favorites. GameWorks also features a full-service restaurant with wide selection of dishes. Overall this is a good place to entertian the whole family.

Gameworks offers something for everyone. The prices are great, there is a bar and restaurant for the adults to "hang out" while the kids are playing and the management team takes care of you quickly if you have a problem. Say hi to Sean the bartender when you are there.
PROS: Location, price
CONS: None

This arcade has any type of game you could hope for. It's one of the few places on the Strip where kids can hang out and have fun. Ocassionally there is live music from local bands featured and it's usually free!

This place can get very expensive very fast. If you have several children it can get real expensive. I took my brother there and we bought a nighttime special for about $20. You get to play unlimited games for 2 hours. Was the only way to go and not spend a bundle.

Gameworks is located on the Las Vegas Strip and it has a ton of games to play and to have hours of fun. You can host parties here and eat here also in a great restuarant. They have a popular black light bowling here too that is fun for the kids and adults that like to bowl. Its neat to see and play with black lights.

This place is really fun. They have all kind of arcade game you can play. You can purchase a game card and can play any games (except for the one that you can win a prize) without having to pay again.for the limited amount of time. This process will save you a lot of money if you are a fast gamer. It's a really nice place. If you love chocolates, they have a M&M factory right there and a movie theater too.

Not a place for a party....

If you are looking for a place to go just for the afternoon, with your kids, it might be a good deal. Their specialty is birthday parties. They have alot of games available, but the price per child is rather high. It gets very crowded and your child is easily seperated. The staff there was on all three occasions, very young and inexperienced. They actually have a minimum for the size of the party avaiable for their discounted rates. Very high prices, for a childs birthday party.
