This is an awesome store (Stephanie Street). The staff is great and very friendly and helpful. The book section is so well organized and categorized. Clothing and accessories are neatly displayed and accessible. Furniture and appliances are also managed very well. Sally's Boutique has a fresh look and is an asset to the entire store.
I must respond to the uninformed complaint posted above by "May C." Pricing for these items is more than fair. It must be known that the total proceeds from these sales are for a charitible cause. The Salvation Army is the ultimate representation for the act of giving. Please remember this.

I am currently active duty in the Marine Corps. I recently got married and needed to furnish my house at a cheap price. I walked in with a 500 dollar budget and they were so eager to help me and gave me the best deals + customer service anyone could ask for. I will say that some of their items are somewhat overpriced but if you talk to them I assure you they will cut a deal for you that will leave you with a smile walking out! These people are here to help anyone in need. I assure you of that! A+++ in my book!!

The Salvation Army is a rip off....they over charge drastically for somebodies old donated furniture. $200.00 for an OLD kitchen table and chairs that are all scratched up. They should be ashamed. I took my disabled daughter there to buy furniture. SHe cant afford it. Neither can I ? SHAME ON YOU SALVATION ARMY! Next time i'll just give my donations to the mormons. ( I'm not mormon) But atleast they don't rob you.

I like this place. They have tons of items. I am not one to buy used items, however it is kind of neat browsing in here to see all the different things they have for sale. Some items are pretty cheap..(ones mans trashis another mans treasure). However, some of their items, for example, clothing, first off, I would not buy, secondly you can actually get newer at any store. For trinkets, collectible items or strange off the wall things, you never know what you may find here. The parking lot is also very large so there is no fighting to find a spot.

Granted they have some cool stuff, especially if you collect things. The prices are fair most of the time, but some stuff they are joking. The clothes are priced too high, especially when you can go to a department store and buy them new. The store is kept nice and clean and there is plenty of parking.

After shopping around at some expensive furniture stores in order to find a couch, I ended up checking here at the Salvation Army on Stephanie. They had some wonderful couches in good condition and offered me a discount from the asking price. They delivered the merchandise for a nominal fee. I recommend checking this place out. You don't have to feel they are selling junk because a lot of their stuff is just as good as any other used furniture outlet.
