High Altitude is a local gem. In addition to quality equipment, clean facilities, a steam room, and a huge climbing wall, the group fitness classes are the best I've ever experienced in 20+ years of gym memberships in metro areas. Meshia's strength training, Cassandra's Piloxing, Britt's yoga, and more -- all of them are challenging but accepting of all levels of ability and truly caring about the health and wellness of their students. And the atmosphere is focused -- there's no 'meat market' here.

went for a month to try the facilities and get a feel for the staff to see if I would like to continue for a year. most people were very kind and polite, but the trainer I was given a recommendation for was rude and condecending, so much so that I did not renew for another month. Granted, I am no work-out fanatic, but I should have been able to speak to someone who understood that. Also, I was not able to set up the appointment with the trainer until 3 weeks into my one month membership...??? Otherwie, the facilities are well maintained, and I would recommend it otherwise.
