I recently visited this establishment to have a tired replaced, the gentlement at the counter seemed to be very knowledgeable. Only wished that he would of given me more information about the tire he was selling me---maybe he thought that I didn't care since I was a girl.

I took my car in for an advertised $10 oil change. While there they found numerous things wrong with my car. I ended up having a couple things done and left having spent around $200. When they were not able to sell me any more services, I was called to come into the garage and was shown a hole in one of my tires. I was told there had been a screw in the tire. When I asked why they didn't show it to me before they pulled out the screw the response was that he didn't think it was in that deep so he pulled it out. I had bought a warrenty on these tires from Discount Tire a few months earlier so I made him put the tire back on and I left. The day I was there I was the only customer and maybe I should add that I'm an older woman and perhaps I looked like someone they thought they could scare into buying more than I needed. I filled out the customer card with some very negative comments and mailed it to the company. I will never go there again and have told as many people as possible to avoid that place.

Goodyear would get an excellent rating, except they're always very, very busy. It takes some planning to get your car serviced by them. Or, you could get up real early on a weekend and wait outside like a kid waiting or concert tickets. The shop is clean and well run, but the staff is a bit harried because of the volume of work they have. It's a no nonsense shop where you get your car in and get it out. My experience with the chain nationwide has been a very positive one and this is no exception. If you're looking for a brake job, oil change, a/c recharge or check, etc good place. Not sure I would have them do any heavy repair on my car though.

PROS: Consistent service and good price
CONS: Very busy and staff can be rude
