I like the decor even if it's a bit dated. I usually like the employees; mostly good people, just needing a paycheck before they move on to better. Panera has mediocre food at premium prices. "WHAT?", you say. Yeah, that's right. The majority of the food they sell comes in frozen and ready to go after it's portioned. The meat is frozen, all of the soups are frozen. There isn't any scratch cooking going on at ANY Panera store. OK , you pound your fist and say, "but the bread, the BREAD is fresh and they make it every day...right?" Well, kinda. ALL of the dough is mass produced in various factories around the country. The factories portion the dough and place it into containers that are then shipped daily to the stores. The Panera "Baker" in the store proofs, scores and tops the different doughs and then bakes them. There you go, mass produced dough baked fresh daily. You know, just like Subway. How about all those pastries? They come in all ready MADE, frozen in cardboard boxes. Just thaw, proof, bake and there you go, FRESH pastry!
Are you getting it yet? Panera is a concept built on illusions, half truths and a gullible public audience that wants to believe.
But, it's a healthy menu at least...right? OMG, please check out their own nutritional information on their corp. site. You won't want to believe what they tell you...They have to be honest the government says so. Here's but on example: Chicken Caesar Sandwich; calories- 720 for less than 14 ounces of food but, that's a blessing because you don't need more than the 1270mg of sodium you're already getting. Don't believe me? Or is it just a little hard to believe? No problem, here's the link to Panera http://www.paneranutrition.com/NutritionCalculator.aspx you check it out.
Avoid this CHAIN concept and support a local business. A local business doesn't send 5-10% of it's sales out of our state like the Panera franchise. It's healthier for you and our local economy

This place was busy! but the service was fast everyone greeted me and they even help me through their confusing process(but good, different from the east coast stores). This is the best place to get bread and sandwiches less face it bread is what makes a sandwich. but atmosphere and customer service was the best ive ever experience in any panera ive been too.

I always have a wonderful experience at this Panera Bread. I go there at least once a week, and everything is always excellent. I love to eat in the dining room because it is always clean, and everyone is so friendly. I also get food to go a lot, and it is always correct and packaged perfectly. I would recommend that anyone looking for great food and a great experience, should frequent this Panera.

Pros: Food, Environment, People, Food again

Cons: Not open 24 hours a day

Time and time again, these guys screw up the orders. It is bad enough when you are in there eating but when it is take ou to the office and it is all screwed up, it is unacceptable. It is if as log as it is in reach, that is what you get in your bag. Ifor one, will not be returning to this particular location for Panera. I understand there are different owners so I will look for one that holds their staff to a higher standard.

This place is an class act, I enjoy the half sandwich/soup deal and it just tastes fresh and makes you feel like your eating a fresh, healthy meal! The Broccoli Cheese soup is just heavanly. They slice fresh avacodo and have a wide variety of unique sandwiches and fresh breads. The coffee and bakery section is just wonderful, around Halloween and Christmas they have pleasant blends of coffee.

Who needs subway? It's great to have real sandwiches with real flavor at a nearby shop. I ordered their roast beef on ciabbata and it was excellent. But I asked for an apple and they gave me chips, oh well. I have also bought whole bread loaves there, and the Rye and Sourdough was excellent, but the wheat loaf seemed a little dry. But their pastries and sweets are great. When you order to-go, they have no sign where you're supposed to wait, but you're supposed to wait in a narrow hall area where "for here" orders are being put up.

    PROS: great sandwiches, and sweets
    CONS: weird set-up, dry bread?

I went to Panera Bread with 2 of my friends in December. I loved it and have been recommending it to all my friends and family. My friends said they had to choke down their sandwiches because they were aweful. Today, I had to drop in and get some cheese foccacia bread for dinner. There was staff everywhere just looking at me and no response! I stood there 3-4 minutes looking at everyone until someone waited on me. There was so smiles, no "Can I help you?" or "Thank you". The guy that waited on me asked me 3 times to repeat my order of cheese foccacia bread like he couldn't understand the order. Wow, what service! I won't go back to this location. I will go where they want my business. Too many competitors out there to mess with this kind of service!!!

PROS: CAN'T THINK OF ANY REASON TO GO
CONS: YOU ARE A JOKE TO THE STAFF. GO IF YOU WANT TO BE STARRED AT AND NOT HELPED

As corporate food goes, Panera does its job well. They use high quality ingredients in interesting ways. The food is surprisingly good. The ambience is good, for what it is. Pricing is good. I love just sitting inside and enjoying my coffee and bagel.

I normally order the Tuscan Chicken Sandwich. The last time I went and asked about it, they said they could still make it even though it was no longer on the menu. When I got home with it, it was not the sandwich I asked for. I sent and faxed a letter to let them know of my disappointment and they did not bother to contact me. I will never go to this location again.

This is only the best ever sandwich and bread establishment! The sandwiches are great, and the baked goods are just as great. They have some really big bagels too that I wouldn't pass up! Give them a try next time you want an exciting sandwich, or take home some frest baked asiago bread, its the best!

This is a Q'zo's sandwich chains nightmare! Panera makes the meanest Panini known anywhere, that is toasted perfectly evertime. Take that Q'zo's! Their cold turkey sandwich on country bread is outstanding. The soups are always delicious, and I can't get enough of their cold Green Tea. I also love the Strawberry Poppyseed Salad. You may run into some chaos and confusion when picking up your meal, but the booths are roomy and comfortable, and the efficiency is good. Bakery goods and breads are yummy too!

PROS: A great place for an affordable high quality meal.
CONS: Pickup of your meal is confusing. No big drawbacks here.
