I don't have anything bad to say about this store despite some of the negative reviews I've read. I can only relate my experience.

We came to Las Vegas from California and while our home was being built we wanted to find furniture for the living room and dining room. We also needed two mattresses and box springs for the guest rooms.

When we entered the store we were immediately surprised that we weren't jumped on by piranha sales people as we have been at other stores. We were greeted politely and we explained that we were only looking at that point. We were told to enjoy browsing and if we had any questions to please ask. We were pleasantly surprised that we were indeed allowed to browse without being followed by any sales person. When we did see a few things we liked we then asked the nearest sales person about them and I have to say she was amazing. Her name is Beata and she couldn't have been more helpful. No hard sell, no pressure, and she even carried a chair by herself over to the sofa we were interested in so we could see if we liked it. Now that is service! That day we bought all the furniture we needed. At that time we didn't have a move in date so Beata told us to let her know when we did have one and she would have everything delivered the day after we moved in. As soon as we had a firm date I called Beata and she was good to her word. Our furniture was delivered the next day and within the time frame we were given. What a delight! The movers were polite and professional despite it being a very hot day and their having to bring some of the items up a curved stairway. I am very, very picky about where I shop and if I am not comfortable when I walk in I will immediately walk back out. I didn't have that feeling when I walked into this store. For the first time we had a very pleasant experience in a furniture store for which I'm very grateful. We will definitely return to this store for any future furniture needs.

We decided to give RC Willey a shot even though they had bad reviews because the pricing was decent and they were close and we couldn't have made a bigger mistake. Purchasing the item was no problem but delivery was a disaster. Not only did they not make the delivery on time, of which we had to block out a 4 hour time frame for the privilege of having them only deliver for $60, they had some call center rep constantly tell us "Its gonna be a little late, its gonna be a little late." Finally we get a call back and some other call center rep says jokingly "The truck broke down". We then rescheduled to the next week and a manager was supposed to call, but of course never did and the delivery never arrived on the rescheduled date. When we called back in some other call center clerk tried talking in circles saying "You were supposed to call the manager and we never confirmed the delivery". Not only was she extremely rude, as the other clerks had been as well, she tried to continually talk through the both of us like we had done something to inconvenience her. Unbelievably unprofessional people....we ended up canceling the delivery and demanded refund (which was also a pain to get done). Will NEVER EVER go to RC Willey or recommend this company since its run by a bunch of low class clerks that can't figure out how to keep a commitment

I called the store in Henderson just now. All I wanted was a stock check and told the person who answered the phone that I was going to BUY the items if they were in stock. I was told that NO ONE was available to type in the SKU # to check availability and would I call back in awhile, so I told her no thanks, I would go somewhere else. I was at this store a couple days ago and there must have been at least 10 "associates" on the floor, doing nothing, but all looking quite desperate for a sale. Can't believe this is Warren's model for doing business.

I shop at the store in Rocklin Ca. I have never had a problem. I have a few things from that store. Never ever have I had an issue with the store.
My issue is the phones. Call customer service for a bad dryer. They have (2) two people operating thier phones you will wait on hold forever !!. Walk in and no wait, very backwards. I can only say research before you buy, check reviews. We have a dryer, first sounded like a whistle blowing while running, we replaced it with no problems. 2nd one is not any good. I am going back Monday and returning it and get what I should have bought in the first place. Their in store service is great, forget the phones.
Also when calling for delivery time, the message says closed til 10:00 am when in fact the wharehouse opens at 7:00 am think they would correct that.

As far as being closed on Sundays, its based out of UTAH, owned by Warren Buffet, he doesn't work his employees on Sundays, Why ?
God says rest !!

I showed up at this store at 2pm on Sunday only to find out they are not open on Sundays. Not open on Sundays??!! Needless to say, I do not plan to return. If this store cannot operate convenient business hour like other stores, they won't get my business. There is absolutely NO reason not to be open on Sundays.

We needed two desk chairs for our boy-girl twins. One pink chair and one blue chair for obvious reasons, So I ordered one of each, same style from The Willys (1st visit). They were being shipped from their warehouse in SLC. We were given an ETA of the following afternoon. But the truck broke down, please come back the next day (2nd visit). I picked them up the next day, both in boxes (3rd visit). First box had the pink chair, but noticed the second box had blue on the warehouse slip but the manufacturer had checked the color as pink. So I returned to store and the error was confirmed (4th visit) and a blue chair was re-ordered. Next day, the stockroom produced the same box I had left the day before with the pink chair but labeled blue because their system said they didn't have to ship another because they had one in stock (5th visit). To trick their system into ordering another chair from SLC, I took this one with me and paid for a third chair so they could authorize another shipment. Next day, same story, new box marked blue had pink chair inside (6th visit). I did not want another pink chair so I returned BOTH pink chairs but not the third pink chair I wanted to keep and got a refund (7th visit). The refund was for all 3 chairs not just the 2. I was honest and informed them of their mistake. They had to trick their system into allowing me to pay for the one I kept. NEVER a thank you. Looked around for other blue chairs in the store and then left. At home, received a call that they had repeatedly paged me at the store that they decided to sell me the floor model of the blue chair. I returned to the store (8th visit) and bought the floor model at full price even though I requested a discount for the used condition. This is the most messed up store i have ever shopped at and wonder how they stay in business. This place gives me The Willys.

So my boyfriend and I went to purchase a mattress bed set and end tables. The experience in the store was fine. We paid about $5000 in cash while we were there. Then when our furniture was delieverd the mattress was right and they had given us the wrong bed set...a cheaper one!!! We told the delivery guys to take it away along with the end tables that didn't even match, but we will keep our Tempur-Pedic mattress. So when we went to the store ASAP they gave us the run around and said "we can't give you cash back only check" No signs saying that...but after we walked outside they put signs up. then they said "sorry we start each till out in the morning with only $100 cash...you'll have to wait an hour or up to 8 hours, when we get the cash in you'll get yours back". Let me remind you that the chinsy little bedset they had in their possesion. All we wanted back was $2500 cash back because we paid them cash. Their mananger there...Matt Vindetta THE MOST UNPROFFESSIONAL MAN I HAVE EVER MET!!!! We asked since they only have $100 in each till and that they couldn't go to the bank or their safe if he could put in writing that we would get our money back. He said no and that he would call LOSS PREVENTION on us....lol What are they going to do.... He said they would escort us out of the store! Um...we had given back the furniture they have our cash and he's trying to get us out of there. SO we started to get angry so we left..with the hope they would call us back to give us our money back. As we were at the car, Jared Dotty the loss prevention manager called us back in saying he has our money. I bought a dining table and chairs, hutch, entertainment center, coffee and end tables AN all cash deal.when they entertainment center arrived the bridge piece and shelf where bowed, one tower had a gouge in it and the console was scratched the coffee table was now on back order and the end tables where scratched.the dining room table had several gouges in it also...nightmare...after redelivery of replacement pieces that where unacceptable I returned the items except for the dining room furniture.the table will be redelivered again this sat...table number 3... when i went to retrieve my cash it took two hrs and fifteen minutes to get my refund...delivery drivers have been extremely rude and derogatory...salesmen are liars with little product knowledge....managers are no better...customer service personnel are rude also...DO NOT BUY HERE!!!! My experience was here in Utah when I called their billing department. I had some questions on my bill and instead of the agent being helpful and courteous, she just started talking to me condescendingly and started giving me a lecture. I told her that I don't need a lecture, I just need to understand what happened with my bill. She then just dropped the phone. RUDENESS in any form just leaves such a bad taste in anybody's mouth, you just want to gag. As it is, I talked with the customer service and they said that there is nothing that they could do on this problem and just talk with the billing supervisors. Please note that in no way have I been disrespectful, so it's a shock that this transpired. This happened Jan 10 at 4 pm. I would try to give them another call tomorrow and hopefully tomorrow, I can get hold of any supervisors there in their billing department.

A while back I bought some furniture here and when it came it didn't fit through the door in my room (bummer). My sales man bent over backwards to make me another great deal, refunding my money, got it delivered quickly and I am very happy. The whole thing was great, great customer service!

R C Willey Home Furnishings is a furnishing store that sell anything that you would put in your home. They have a good selection of electronics, they had some great stuff. The people that work there seemed like they were all nice to me. On the weekend they give free hot dogs.

We went to price compare a new mattress on a Saturday. There was only one salesperson and he was not very much help. The prices were a little high for what we were looking for. I was not impressed with this department.

I've gotten a few pieces of furnitures from this store in the past and love the quality, style and the price. It's one of the largest home furnishing store I've been to and it offers variety of funitures and entertainment equipments. They often run special sales and I've taken one of those opportunity. Customer service is excellent and I definately will do business with them again.

We purchased our new living room set here. The staff was extremely helpful and never once did we feel presured on buying something we did not want, nor something that was overly expensive. Delivery time was exactly as scheduled. They have such a variety of items other than furniture, including appliances, home decor, even dishes. We were very impressed.

Well organized store, carries a variety of home furnishing items. Often hard to find a sales person. Prices are comparable, but sometimes one can get better prices at specialty stores, i.e. electronics etc. Not open Sunday's, and there is free delivery. The largest furniture store in the area . Check it out...... especially for newcomers.

My experience here has been nothing but phone transfers, after phone transfer. I bought a large screen TV, a kitchen table, and living furniture all with cash. Needless to say, after all the items were delived and on piece was damaged it took call after call to findout when we will get a replacement product. After four months of calls to the service department, our sales person, our delivery contact person, and to the BBB we finally were notified that they no longer make the product and we need to come in and choose a product with the same value. Still, when we came in to find a replacement product we were again disappointed. We were to find a product that will match the broken kitchen chair (none the matches) when we decided to replace the entire set we were told we couldn't. We currently are looking into legal matters to either replace the entire set or get a full refund. Possibly even sending back all our past purchases and giving our business to someone who would appreciate it.

My experience here has been nothing but phone transfers, after phone transfer. I bought a large screen TV, a kitchen table, and living furniture all with cash. Needless to say, after all the items were delived and on piece was damaged it took call after call to findout when we will get a replacement product. After four months of calls to the service department, our sales person, our delivery contact person, and to the BBB we finally were notified that they no longer make the product and we need to come in and choose a product with the same value. Still, when we came in to find a replacement product we were again disappointed. We were to find a product that will match the broken kitchen chair (none the matches) when we decided to replace the entire set we were told we couldn't. We currently are looking into legal matters to either replace the entire set or get a full refund. Possibly even sending back all our past purchases and giving our business to someone who would appreciate it.

CONS: Everything

The store is filled with appliances, electronics, furniture and they even have a small coffee shop where you can take a break from all the shopping. On Saturdays they often have free hot dogs, chips and drinks to entice you to come in and shop. They also have a room with clearance merchandise and you can often pick up quite a bargain. I bought a wonderful leather couch and chair with ottoman at another furniture store. I saw the exact same thing at R. C. Willey for $1000 less and by bringing in the tag from their story I got my money refunded. So I know their prices are reasonable.

PROS: Reasonable prices, large selection.
CONS: Closed on Sunday

RC almost got a "wouldn't recommend", but occaisionally they do have clearance merchandise or special sales items that make it worth going in there. Otherwise the prices aren't very good and the salespeople are pushy, have a lack of knowledge about the products they're selling and when the store is crowded on a big sales day, they're rude. The big sales days are the typical blowout low prices, but when you get there, you find out there were only 7 or so of each item available.

PROS: They're right off the highway on the way to better stores
CONS: minor league salespeople bad for biz and consumer

As the name implies, it's merchandise with very slight external flaws -- but all in great working condition, and if you don't mind a nick here and there, you can pick up a great deal. This store has a fairly good selection of merchandise to choose from, sale or not, and the staff won't pester you.
