Dr. D is very warm and friendly when you first visit with him and throughout the visits but that is where it ends. I believe this clinic takes on too many patients and you become very much like cattle being herded in and out. You have so many appt's where they are looking at your hormones and adjusting meds that I don't see how they can accurately keep track of all their patients. After paying nearly $20,000 we didn't even get to try and conceive because no embryos made it. I realize this is a possibility but after reflecting back on the experience I know I should have checked out other offices. Don't stick to the first office you go to, go to at least two or three!!! Dr. D also made me believe my eggs were on their way out the door and that it was now or never. A high-pressure sales tactic at such an emotional time is unacceptable. Think things through before you make a choice, I wish I would have. My co-worker and I had similar experiences with this clinic and she is now happily pregnant through another office.

We paid nearly $7,000 to have Dr. Shapiro tell us what was wrong. After 2 years paying money, he said we needed to spend $12,000 more for a solution. We couldn't afford it and changed centers. We became pregnant the second month of treatment at the new center for only $500. Beware.

After meeting with and seeing other fertilitly specialists, I chose Dr. Daneshmand because he is the BEST. He is so wonderful and caring. This is especially true when you are emotional from infertility issues.

I am a young woman trying to concieve...Im not going to state my age because some people dont think I'm doing the right thing, but lets just say I'm over 18. The reason why I can't concieve doesnt have anything to do with medical complications...Im just a lesbian. Dr Shapiro was wonderful, and so understanding. My insurance covers most of my fees, (HPN) and the only thing other then co-pays I have to pay out of my pocket is the semen(500.00) and the sonohystogram(700.00) I am so greatful for Dr. Shapiro

Infertility is an emotionally wrenching situation. You want hope and help and thankfully you'll find it at the city's premiere fertility center--Fertility Center of Las Vegas! The doctors are so competent and informative you know you're in the best hands possible. Plus, they're really brilliant! They're researchers in addition to being clinicians, and they teach medical students and write a ton of papers that are published in REAL fertility journals. I've heard of these guys from my world-travels and that says a lot about their character and credibility.

PROS: Brilliant minds, respected reputations, outstanding work
CONS: Expensive but WORTH the investments

If anyone can help you get pregnant and keep the baby, Dr Shapiro is the man. They truely know what they are doing and seem to be open around clock. It's an emotional and tiring time, but his staff is there to help you through it. Of the 5 people I personally know who went to him, only 1 is still trying. All the others have healthy happy babies. Dr Shapiro and his staff really holds your hand through the entire process and also seems to really be on top of the tests. You feel like you're always in his office and always getting shots and taking pills, but if the result is having a baby, then it's all worth it.

Dr. Shapiro has been the only Dr. that was able to assist me and after 4 miscarriages I have 1 very precious chile. I will forever be blessed and grateful.

PROS: very attentive, open early for blood tests etc.
CONS:

The reason I love this business it is because the professionalism of the entire staff. Everyone is so friendly, competent, knowledgeable and discreet. The Doctors take the time of explaining every details of each procedure, they do not talk down to patients. They have great bedside manners and so much compassion which is extremely important when going through something so emotionally taxing. What is so amazing about the Doctors is that they very still involved in research, they continue to teach and contribute to the Medical Journal & are always available when patients need them. There is always someone to answer any questions. The clinic is open 7 days a week. And they bill your insurance for you because the only downside of this is the high cost financially but also emotionally since unfortunetely conception does not always happen right away.

PROS: Knowledgeable and friendly staff and great Doctors available 7 days a week
CONS: It tends to be costly but it is all for a great cause
