Sean's Game Repair (Now called A Gamer's Paradise and expanded to a new location near the Pinball Hall of Fame) is easily the best system and pinball repair store in town.

Sean knows his stuff, and while a bit acerbic, is literally the go-to guy in Vegas for this kind of thing. He provides fast, cheap hardware fixes, stocks his store with tons of rare and hard to find games and accessories and can pretty much cover the gamut for what you're looking for. He wasn't featured on Pawn Stars for nothing; he knows his stuff.

Best part, his new location on Tropicana has made it easier to drop by and the new store is much more open and being stocked from his personal storage, so there is some pretty interesting stuff showing up on the shelves.

Me and mine go exclusively to his stores for good reason.

PS: I've used GR for quite some time -- the majority of people with negative reviews are people who busted their own system or didn't listen to his advice... any repair has a caveat that it may not last long or may last forever. RROD systems are like that. Crap hardware.

Personally my two system repairs have lasted years, no prob.

I can't believe the bad reviews. My experience with this store has been exceptional. Twice now I have sent my grandson's Sony PS3 and the X-Box 360 in for repairs. Both were repaired and returned within 1-2 days and both are still working like out of the box. This was over a year ago on the PS-3 and about a year ago on the X-Box 360. Yes I was told the X-Box 360 is an over priced piece of junk but we all know that anyway. I think the only bad thing about the Nellis store is the neighborhood it's located in but, hey what part of Vegas now days is not a bad neighborhood? I live about 300 miles from Vegas. We happen to be in town today and I definetly plan to brave the neighborhood and take the grandson to the store. You bad reviewers are probably habitual whiners anyway.

If u check the the only good review from this repair shop u will notice that Sean the repair man/ owner wrote it. However his review is a joke. No way in hell this repair shop receives 5 stars. It should receive negative stars up the ass. As I arrived for the first time the shop smelled like sit and sweat. And the workers were helping another customer with a 360 Sean the repair was stating that the 360 was a piece of sit. He should of said I will nugger rig this 360 to work for a day for 50 bucks. I brought my 360 for repair because red ring of death. The shop fixed it for 90 bucks which is a rip off however It worked for 6 weeks and was broken again the console wasn't reading game. So

Don't let the name fool you. There's more to this store than merely REPAIRING your games. It's a pain to get to, being in one of the worst parts of Vegas, bur worth checking out.

This is a full-fledged game store as well. And it'd even part arcade, thanks to several arcade cabinets in the store that are playable.

The selection of games is WAY better than you'd expect from a store called Game REPAIR. They have games for EVERY system, of yesterday and today alike. Systems too. And even some rare import titles. There is plenty of obscure stuff you won't find in any other Vegas game store.

The personality of the staff seems hit and miss. Despite this, though, I've ALWAYS gotten help with what I've needed. EVERYONE in this store is knowledgable.

My only gripe is the pricing on some of the items in the store, often outrageous when compared with internet retailers that sell the same stuff for cheaper.

Don't let that one gripe trick you. This is a GREAT store. Whether you're a Vegas Valley resident, or just visiting, this is one game store you need to visit.

if you like your game systems and play them to death until they are broken down, no need to buy a new playstation, just take it to game repair and get it fixed and save yourself a pretty penny
