I have been dealing with Mr. Goldberg on and off for almost a year. I am still not at the point of a full-fledged BK. I see him any time I want. The last time was in the beginning of June. Prior to that probably April. He's always there for me and each time it's a FREE consultation (just like he says). I am frankly surprised that he has not charged me a dime yet. He offers good, sound advice on every occasion and has helped me get ready for when and if I need to file.

I have seen so many get bad raps for no reason, so I am always available to provide any additional information about Mr. Goldberg, whom I feel has been misunderstood more than anything else. He is in a tough business and the people who see him, including me, are looking for an easy way out. We who have financial problems have them for a reason and I can see where i could blame him, or somebody for my problems. In reality, I have to accept what I did or didn't do. I appreciate that he's there without judgement using every means possible to help me start over and learn from my mistakes.

After reading the reviews of Mr. Goldberg, I have decided to definitely retain him for my BK. I believe that it is as much the clients responsibility to provide and check all documentation to make sure things are in order. If he does not return phone calls it is to your benefit because it's all charged by the minute. You call, it costs! If a call is absolutely necessary and he does not return it, I know where his office is. If he isn't creating controversy, he's not doing his job. I don't know of any professional, including doctors etc. that have not had a bad rap somehow, somewhere for something. It is not a perfect world. I'm sure some of the complaints are valid, although, I'm finding that especially in this day and age, complaining and finding fault has become Americas pastime. That's why there are so many lawyers to begin with. I'm just thankful that there are laws that enable us to find solutions to problems that would truly be devastating if we could not declare BK. If finding fault with your attorney seems valid, time to look in the mirror. You're the one that put yourself in the situation to begin with. Besides all that, I have never seen whiter teeth in my entire life! As far as the staff goes, If I were him, I'd have the hottest babes in town working for me too! Who cares about paperwork when you have so much eye candy! Makes me wonder if the bikini car wash could also be integrated into, well, you get the picture.

This lawyer is the epitome of snake. We went to see him based upon his fallacious ads that he could handle all financial issues. He spent maybe ten minutes with us, asked virtually nothing, painted a completely bleak picture w/o the full information, was nasty, and totally uninterested.

Simply, the very worst "lawyer" we have ever encountered or worked with for any reason.

Save yourself the grief.

Find a human with some measure of integrity, honor, and decency. Or at least a "human."

Get out of town, "Randy" -- aren't Vegans exposed to enough truly lousy "pros."

This is not in anyway slanderous and or vindictive, it is is just the truth. My opinion is that Mr. Goldberg is the type of lawyer that you want handling a case. He is aggressive, direct and will tell you just as it is. The challenge is his support staff & unfortunate for him, they define his reputation. For us deciding to declare BK was not a decision we went into lightly, it was (as we felt at the time) a last resort to save our house. We met with Mr. Goldberg, layed out all of our financial mis-steps & he told us our options legally. He did not lie to us or mislead us in anyway. However his office staff seem to work on a different code of ethic's. Disorganization does not even begin to discribe the work environment there. They lose paperwork, No one seems to be on the same page as far as information (not even specific to your case but BK in general), they fail to disclose information to you in a timely manner (we normally find out what is going on thru a creditor call or thru the trustee), they are extremly rude & never return phone calls (Adam is the worst), they are quick to charge & take additional monies for whatever but always (seriously) seem to never be able to do what they promised when they took it. If this were just a rating for Mr. Goldberg I will give it 4 stars, however the bottom line is that an Attorney is only as good as the people that support him & Mr. Goldberg's office staff are ruining the lives of his clients & will eventually bring down his business. Mr. Goldberg should review his support staff & the operating proceedures in his office. In the end it will only be of benefit to him but more importantly the clients he serves.

I have a friend who just went thru a divorce. He went to Mr. Goldberg and was given information that was very brief and to the point. I decided to go in and meet Mr. Goldberg with my friend to check things out and see if this was the right attorny for him to go to. Mr. Goldberg was very direct, to the point, and friendly to both of us. He is extremely knowledgeable with the bankruptcy laws, and is also very busy. He is the professional and knows what he is doing. I guess some people are looking for someone to hold their hand thru their bk process, and be sympathetic to their emotions. Mr. Goldberg is an attorney, not a therapist!

First I have been dealing with this person for about one year now, and he is not a lawyer in any way, and should not be able to practice in any state. I have had nothing but problems and everyone
should file a class action case against him for neglect and misconduct in his practice, I have thought long and hard about this,
but I guess he thinks he is untouchable. Well not anymore!!
This guy Randoplh should be a car salesman not a lawyer.

Don't be fooled by this lawyer classic "Bait And Switch" act.
This guy thinks he is above the law. He really does not care about you and will never care at all like he trys to portray. I guess he should be carful who he talks down to, I almost feel bad that he will be out of business in a couple of years.

I filed bankruptcy with this so-called attorney a few years ago. While I did get my debt discharged and the process seemed painless at the time, it has since came back like a cancer to further kill my credit. I do appreciate his help as it took care of a situation that was out of hand at the time, but I would be much happier if he had done his full job and reaffirmed the debt that I asked him to, as the papers from the creditors came to his office since creditors are not allowed to contact you once they have been informed of the bankruptcy. I do know for a fact that 2 of the creditors sent the reaffirmation agreements as they should have, but his office did not sign them to reaffirm the debts as I had requested. I am still reviewing my legal rights and will file complaints if he doesn't follow up with me like I've asked him to.

Also, I don't think you guys are thinking in the right direction, I'm thinking class action lawsuit (there will be some money there), we'll get him disbarred and put him in financial ruin. No job and no money, it would be kind of ironic wouldn't it. Thats what happens Ronald, when you piss people off and screw them over, they look for ways to either put you in financial ruin and leave you jobless or worse.

I retained Mr. Goldberg in July to file my BK. At the initial consultation I was told that based on the questionnaire I filled out I would be able to file a chapter 7. I did everything he asked me to do - filled out a financial statement and gathered all of the documents that he asked me for. At the meeting I had with him after I turned in my paperwork (and made my first payment) he tells me that due to the combined income with my husband, I have to file a chapter 13 and pay a monthly payment to a BK Trustee. I was a little stunned because I know my financial situation and my husband and I pay out what we make every month for living expenses. I asked him to take a look at it again and brought up the fact that my husband pays about 2/3 of his paycheck to child support and insurance. He looked at the figures and realized that the calculations only accounted for my husband paying one week of child support. This was the first of many, many mistakes that were made. I even received several letters from the BK Trustee telling me they were going to dismiss my case because certain paperwork had not been filed on time. This never happened, however it did worry me. Even at my creditors' meeting the Attorney for the Trustee found a mistake in his calculations. My husband and I tried to make the payments to the court but are unable to buy food if we do this, so I went back over the paperwork and found more mistakes. I called his office to ask the paralegal that worked on my case to go over it again. I was told that the calculations were wrong, the case should have been a 7 and that I'd need to come back in to talk to Mr. Goldberg about doing this. When I went in I was told that since I didn't talk to Mr. Goldberg or the head paralegal there, that whatever I was told on the phone did not matter. The paralegal (can't remember his name) and Mr. Goldberg took turns arguing with me about how I did have the money to make the payment. I showed them the mistakes I found on their paperwork but they kept coming up with all kinds of stuff. I have since gone back over the paperwork and found even more mistakes. The paralegal told me that they could convert my case to a chapter 7 for another $2000.00. I was asking them to fix their mistake and was told there was nothing they could do unless I wanted to give them more money. I payed $1200.00 (which is not much money to some people) to go through this and do not have another $2000.00. So now I face having my entire case dismissed due to the incompetency of Mr. Goldberg and his office. Before I left the office I asked to have a copy of the original financial statement that I filled out so I could compare it to what I listed for expenses and what his office came up with and was told that I could not have it. I've since talked to some contacts I have at the news stations and found out that there have been several investigations done on Mr. Goldberg for these types of things. I am going to file a grievance with the Bar Association and hopefully others who have had this experience will do the same. It's funny to me that the only positive review on this spot comes from Mr. Goldberg. It's only a matter of time before he shoots himself in the foot. If anyone else who has had a bad experience has not filed a grievance, please do so - this is the only way that this crook may be able to be stopped.

I went to him to file BK, This man swore more in one minute then I have my enire life. Everything out of his mouth was filth and then asked me who I wanted to screw over. He then had the nerve to tell me I could pay his fees using my credit card, which is very illegel. Using him would probably land you in jail.

As others have said, he doesn't tell the truth, he lies, he doesn't do the work he is supposed to, he leads you to believe all will be taken care of. Yes, his ads are a flagrant lie 100%.

Our experiences??? Because of his total mishandling of our BK, and not notifying us of what had happened, not filing proper paperwork that he should know to do, I find out AFTER the fact my home of 30 years was sold at auction.

Yes, we have filed cmplaints with the BK trustee's office and the State Bar Assoc., which they have filed charges against him for NUMEROUS violations. The unfortunate thing....After checking with six different attorneys, none will handle a Malpractice case as it is not "enough" money for them. Sorry, I did not own a million dollar home, but it was my home of 30 years. So, are any other attorneys any better with their integrity and ethics??? Who knows. Seems money is the priority for all.

I'm sorry, but I have to agree that Mr. Goldberg, nor his assistants return phone calls, they are short and to the point, but can I add rude! once the money is paid, it is a cat and mouse game to get information. They are not timely in turning in paperwork, give, misleading info and at times, you may find yourself getting more info from the creditors than him (your attorney).He is knowledgeable and good, however, his has too many irons in the fire, and I feel his office is overwhelmed! In the end, it is his pocket that is the most important, and because of that, I feel a humanistic characteristic has been lost by the office and it is a round them up, get them out, and clean-up what we messed up and blame everyone, else.I am disappointed in the treatment I have received. I don't believe it is intentional, it is the way that they work, I just don't want to see anyone else get caught up in their revolving door. They really need to take more time to get to know their clients and pretend to care, even if they don't, because they get paid very well for their services.

Use Randolph Goldberg as your Bankruptcy attorney as he's the best BK attorney. He's the most experienced, knowledgable in his filed, handsome and returns all his calls in and between court. I highly recommend Randolph Goldberg for your BK and Tax Services.

I was going to give Randolph Goldberg a call today, but after reading all of the neg reviews, and then his own illiterate response, I think I'll be going elsewhere!

Any suggestions from anyone would be welcome!

After checking this con artist out myself, I was told by "several" attorneys NOT to even go near him! I called his office and found his staff rude, crude, and in a hurry...To take my money! I was lucky and sought assistance elsewhere. A friend of mine has been "attempting" to work with him for about six months now, and even though this attorney (or para-legal) was paid in full! He STILL hasn't helped in anyway.
Like so many reviews on here...check around. There ARE better places to go, and not all of then will rip you off! ALWAYS check...sadly most do not. I am one of the lucky ones! I checked.

Just because you say you have handled 30,000 clients doesn't make you a good lawyer.You never return phone calls.You mislead your clients with bogus information so you can just charge them more money to fix what you messed up on the first time around. You are the hypocrite! No one here is slandering you.You and your office are so unorganized it's pathetic. What kind of lawyer handles his clients on a first come first serve basis?No appointments need here, just have a seat and Bozo will be with you shortly.
It's fairly evident from Randy's own rebuttal that he has absolutly NO compassion,let alone any respect for the people paying his bills. He states" The clients are the bad ones" and calls himself a "Savior"........ Holy smokes Randy can your head get any bigger?
And let me just close with this. Having a foul mouth doesn't make you a REAL person but it is an excellent indicator of your lack of intelligence.

I have handled 30,000 clients ove the years and a few people who lie or have immediate problems and procrastinate till the end always are the ones complaining. these people owe everbody and blame everyone else for their problems. i do my job and do curse because i am REAL and not a fake. if you dont like me go somewhere else, however, u still pick me because i know what im doing and you had choices so dont be a hypocrite. I do my job well and have never found to done anything wrong by state bar or ever lost a personal lawsuit in 10 years. that speaks volumes. dont slander ME. the clients are the bad ones , not their savior who eliminated all their debt for 1,000.

My husband went here cause everyone else was busy. He told my husband that within 20mins of signing papers that the garnishment that was on his check would stop. The next paycheck 5 days later was still garnished. And, he makes you get your own paperwork. Whats the $1000 for then?! We got robbed

My Ex-Husband and I filed for BK several years ago and used Goldberg. Yes he might be a little on the shifty side, but he provided us with all of the information that we needed and handled everything for us. We came out of it great. I still am very appreciative of the service we received from him and I have recommended him to everyone that I know that has had to go through a similar circumstance.
I'm sorry that some of you feel like you have been cheated or didn't care for his attitude. I hope things work out well for you in the end.

I went through my case with him and during my court appearance he did not get there until I was called several times and had the court person explain to me to not worry this is how he usually works. The several other people he represented there were also in the same boat. He finally came and then things went smoothly. But I was in financial trouble and I was unable to pay my fees in full. I have been trying ever since to give him $50.00 per week but at first he would not accept it. Then he saw that I could not pay then he accepted it. Now I tried to pay him with my debit card and because the transactions were so small he did not want to do it. I have changed residences and have no valid checks and I have sent some with my old address to him and they got returned to me undeliverable. I have now attempted to call him for several weeks with no luck in getting a returned call to resolve this. I am not sure what the next steps are.

I would like to let everyone out there know that Mr. Goldberg was a lifesaver for me. He helped me at one of the most difficult times in my life and by the time I left his office it felt like the weight of the world was taken off my shoulders. All my paperwork was complete and my meeting of creditors went very smoothly thanks to Mr. Goldberg - regarding his cursing - so what, he gets the job done! My only question regarding Bankruptcy in Nevada - what is the purpose of having to give up the income tax check the first year? What happens if it is not sent in? I know people in other states that never had to do this......can someone answer that question for me?
