5 Stars: Something for kids in Vegas! (by Nicole A.)

We LOVE this museum! Everything is hands-on and of course kids love that! We have been several times and never get bored! They have new exhibits every month or so for the kids and crafts/art projects they can do!

This is a MUST for all families in Las Vegas! A++

5 Stars: The best place for kids (by June G.)

Lied is the very place for fun with your kids. We are so lucky in Vegas to have this. It is a hands on museum for kids with giant building blocks, super big bubble maker, stage and costumes for kids so they can put on their own plays, playdoh, sandbox, etc.etc.My husband and I started going here even before we had kids. Make sure you check the upstairs out also.

5 Stars: A great place for kids of all ages!! (by Daria P.)

I went here on a feild trip when I was in Kindergarten. When I turned 14, I had the privilege of working there for 5 years. I highly recommend visiting this museum! You should also check into their themed birthday parties, a bit pricey, but really fun!

5 Stars: Always something new and educational (by Julie K.)

Even though we have been to Leid's Discovery Museum many times, my kids never get tired of it and they always something new and exciting to do. Lots of hands on exhibits, we especially like the mock city on the lower level where the kids get to open a pretend bank account and go shopping, very educational. I also like that in addition to the regular exhibits they have, they also have an area that is changed every so often with a new science concept. The staff is always very patient and they take time to explain things to the kids. If you are going to go back as much as we do, it is well worth the price of an annual membership

4 Stars: The Lied Discovery Children's Museum (by Emily Y.)

My son loves going to this museum. There are so may educational and fun activities. There is anything from experimenting with bubbles and shadows, to a toddler section full of shapes and mining activities, to a stage where the children can dress up and perform. It is a little bit older now, but the staff is nice and there are so many quality learning experiences.

5 Stars: Tons of Fun (by Ryan P.)

The Lied Discovery Childrens Museum is a great place to take your kids or your grandkids. It is a place where they can go and play and have fun and learn about things and how they work at the same time. It makes for a great fun afternoon. And it in the same building as the library if you want to stop by and get some books to learn more about what they have done. It makes for a great day without driving through out the city.

4 Stars: FUN (by Dylan K.)

A great and fun place to take your kids to have fun. The museum is not far from the Natrual history Museum. Not in the best part of town. The inside is clean and great for kids

PROS: Everything
CONS: Not in a good part of town

3 Stars: Fun for kids (by Diana L.)

I have been to a lot of childrens museums in different states, so I wasn't really impressed with the one in Las Vegas. It seemed dirty and there were not a lot of things to do. It was fine for my daughter and I think she had a great time, but this is probably one of the worst I've been to, comparitively. Of course the problem is that Las Vegas only has 1 Childrens Museum, so you don't have a choice. At least it wasn't expensive.

4 Stars: Inexpensive fun and learning for kids! (by Beth D.)

My daughter loves this place!! She is not a big fan of science normally, but the Lied Discovery Museum presents it in a way that makes it fun to learn. There are many hands on exhibits that let the kids get involved with it. No matter how many times we have been there, my daughter never gets tired of it. The museum is centrally located, so it is easy to get there from anywhere in the city. I would recommend this to any parent that wants their children to experience something other than video games!

4 Stars: Very fun and educational (by N S.)

This is one of the best children museum that I've ever been to. There are alot to see and learn and also very educational . The Lied Discovery Children's Museum is an award-winning interactive museum where children can play, pretend, create and learn with hands-on exhibits. In an interactive setting, the children can play - there's even an area reserved for infants.

This is the best place I have ever seen. Kids LOVE to go and parents can get a kick out of it too.
4 Stars: A place for kids to discover! (by Cheryl T.)

This place is awesome! They have a Berstein Bears area where the child can measure height and foot size. They have a cave with scary sounds. They have an entire upstairs devoted to science. They have a small child's area. They have blocks and activities. The kids can paint or climb. We took our 2 year old there and she had a blast!! It was a great way to spend an afternoon. A must see if you have youngsters.

PROS: Kids love it!!!
CONS: A bit pricey.$6 for a 2 year old.

5 Stars: A kids museum... (by Patricia M.)

If you haven't been here, then you need to go. This is the only Children's Museum in Las Vegas. The admission prices are very reasonable. I believe it is $6.00 per person. Very young kids are free. They have alot to see and do here. It is great for children of all ages. They promote creativity in children no matter how small. They have everything a child would need to get him excited about learning. The staff is very informative the whole way. I have been here several times. If any one with kids comes to visit, I take them here. It is a great afternoon for all. They get 5 stars and they earn it daily.

4 Stars: Kids love this place (by Nick D.)

Imagine a huge, two story warehouse sized building with a whole bunch of science experiments your kids can try without your having to clean them up. This place has a lot of cool things your kids can try, making giant bubbles, shadow puppets, cause/effect experiments. And the mess won't get on your carpet. My favorite is an area where you can build a log cabin type structure with your kids. There are some places for parents to sit for a minute and watch the kids, and trust me, you'll need the break! The only problem is that parents tend to take advantage and not even neaten up a little after their kids trash the exhibits. You could spend a whole day here.

5 Stars: Everyone should visit! (by Linda S.)

The children's museum is a great place for the whhole family. They have discount rates for seniors and children. The kids will love it. It is great to watch their little eyes light up. Everything is meant to be touched. You can play run and just have fun. You can actually take a couple kids and make a day of it.thats how much stuff there is to do. I first came upon this on a field trip for my son's class. It was a great trip for all, but not nearly enough time, to experience all that they had to offer. It is a great weekend outing. It keeps the kids active, and their minds alert. I now visit monthly, just so they can see all the fun stuff again. Hours of learning for a great price.

4 Stars: An oldy, but a goodie (by Alexandria M.)

I love the discovery children's museum, and any local should tell you the same. It's definitely been around for a long time, as it has many of the original exhibits still. However, it remains an extremely fun, education resource for elementary and junior high school students.
