Toddle Towne is Wonderful

by K P.

love it !!!! They are very professional, courteous and have your child's best interest at heart. Love The girls up front and Miss Jerri !! The place is always clean and the kids love the hot lunches. One of my oldest grandchildren went there years ago and now my young grandson goes there. He has a blast!!!! I leave each morning confident that they treat him as if he was their own. I have recommended them to numerous friends,

Love this Day Care

by Nicolette R.

I have been deeply involved with 3 different child care providers in this town. Out of all them, this was the one that honestly had the childrens' well being at heart. The onwers are dedicated and the teachers hearts are in it. My child loved his teacher's as well as I. I would recommend this center to anyone.

so far so good

by Anonymous

My son is going to be 3 and they have been good so far it's been a couple months only thing i have a problem with is there is always a tv on in the room. My son likes to watch tv at home and now i'm thinking he is getting to much of it. He actually doesn't scream that he doesn't want to go to school like he did with the other school. J

New Owners Change is good

by Anonymous

Recently Toddle towne was sold! This is a good thing. The playgrounds are brand new, and so many new changes and ideas are on the way. The staff is still the same caregivers my child knows, and I like that. So give them a chance to prove to you that the new owners really care.

To the negative feedback

by Lianne P.

I think it is mighty strange that all the negative comments have the same sentences and phrases.
Read each one of them. It's like reading it over and over again. For a minute, I was thinking I had skipped up to the previous comments.
Someone must have to much time on their hands.

Toddle Towne has been great!

by Shelby H.

My son has been going to Toddle Towne for 5 months and so far its been great. The only thing that has happened that was negative was a mall bite but when i picked him up they had a little "boo boo bunny report" with what happened, when and on what part of his body. It happened 15 minutes before i arrived to pick him up and he was back to playing and having fun! The teachers are always super nice and tell me how he was without me having to ask. The price is the best in North Las Vegas! I also called the state to see if any complaints had ever been filed in the last 5 years and there was NOTHING! Compared to the last lady that watch our son Toddle Towne is the best. I really have nothing negative to say.

No problems here

by jennifer p.

My son has been going to Toddle Towne since he was 3 and he will be 7 in April. Yes, he has gotten hurt there, what child (especially boys) don't get hurt on a regular basis from tumbling over, falling down, running when they are not supposed to? I have never had a problem with the front desk staff or any of his teachers in the 4 years he has been going there. He previously attended another daycare prior to this one where he came home with bleach stains all over his clothes and the smell in his hair because the teachers let the kids play in the mop bucket, so compared to there, Toddle Towne is a dream!

Injuries

by M. R.

There have been two occasions when my child has sustained head injuries and I was not notified. One of which was extremely serious and required immediate medical attention.

I was given excuses and more excuses, like we did not call you because it was close to time for you to pick the child up.

I do not have the luxury of staying home with my child. Instead, I expect the center to provide a safe place for my child to learn and play while I'm at work.

I do not recommend Toddle Towne to any parent who values safety, and wants to be informed when a serious accident takes place. I understand that they are children, and accidents do happen...but I am the parent - which means ultimately I should be told when there is an injury and get the option to seek medical attention.

PROS:
CONS: Safety, communication

Don't send your child there!

by D I.

Although the center looks nice and clean...looks can be deceiving! The playgrounds are small and lack shade. The rooms are tiny as well. The front desk people were nice (except the older blonde lady...could she have been the Suzanne previously mentioned? I forgot her name) All this place does is want your MONEY!

My children absolutely hated it. They stayed for 1 1/2 months, many days of which they cried for me to take them with me to work! I stayed to observe a few times, and I can vouch for the previous entries... the teachers lack the skills to discipline (yelling and time-outs are the only techniques they seem to know). The caregivers only talk to each other (about their personal lives). They need to interact with the children MORE...and in a more POSITIVE manner!

It all comes down to management. Train your staff well and don't forget that the customer's are always right. Make the parents feel like you care about their children, even if you have to pretend!

PROS: clean
CONS: management, price, and lack of space for children to play

Toddle Towne Loves Kids

by Mr. T.

Look, I can tell you first hand that the owners of Toddle Towne LOVE kids. I worked there for a few years and I never saw anyone do anything where I felt like stepping in. (And I'm not one to keep my trap shut!) Suzanne, in particular, always gave me a friendly reminder to make sure I could see all groups of kids, EVEN IF OTHER TEACHERS WERE PRESENT. None of the teachers, while I was there, were allowed to be over ratio. Suzanne was more than willing to work with some circumstances I happened to experience. Mr. Tom and Mr. Bob were fantastic mentors for me as well. Everyone taught me so much.

Trust me, not all of your "little angels" are angels when you leave. Some of them are just plain rotten to be honest! But as teachers, care providers, we adapt and care for them just like all of the other kids.

As far as everyone having mansions, did you ever stop to think that these people are successful OWNERS of a business? Toddle Towne didn't put up a big sign that says "Non-profit Organization" did they? This is their living and they've been in business for a long time. You'd want a nice place to run off to too if you had a couple of hundred kids well being on YOUR shoulders. Do you think the state gives them insurance for all of your kids for free??? Do you know what the word L-I-A-B-I-L-I-T-Y means? And if your looking to be a single mom with a mortgage and a car payment, then NO, a care provider is probably not the right place to pay all of your bills. But, here I go again with the "When I worked there...", I could have sworn that they told me a price, and I agreed to work for that price. That's probably why they let me come back for 40hrs/week. Maybe my expectations were too low. Maybe it IS their fault for telling me what they'd pay in advance and then not lying about it and giving me more as a surprise.......

I worked for an agreed upon wage, their business doesn't stop for my personal life, and a child was never hurt or lost in the years I worked there.

PROS: Grrrr Miss Shelly, very Grrrr!
CONS: I wished I still worked there. I MISS those lil guys.

rude service

by Erika D. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 5,920

my kids went here for 3 months and i felt bad for them the whole time.. the playground there had no shade whatsoever and when the children were out there playing they were not given enough water.. the teachers have no experience from the looks of the way they discipline too.. it is just very unorganized in there.. my children did not like it at all, and I do not recommend it to no one. Very expensive place and not worth paying for that type of service.

Not a daycare I would recommend

by Morgan E. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 5,478

Let's start with management....Cheryl will say anything to make you happy and Suzanne...is a whole different review in itself (let's just say dorothy needs to drop a house on her). I worked here for 2 years. They do treat the families somewhat nice but the employees are treated like a dime a dozen (their phrase). I have a friend who worked their who was finishing up high school, when it came time for graduation she asked for the day off. She was told either her job or her graduation. They do not care about the employees. They are paid next to nothing but yet all the owners live in these huge mansions and take days off whenever. They are always understaffed which makes it harder on the kids. Disipline there is outrageous. Kids are always getting yelled at or put in time out. Everytime you walk in it is chaos. On top of everything they are way expensive. The playgrounds have no shde at all. They have been told by licensing to put up covers for 3 years and they have not (they are too busy getting facials) I DO NOT RECOMMEND BRINGING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. It may seem nice on the outside but your children will hate it on the inside. My kids hated going here. All of my friends who have worked there have quit because it is getting worse.
