This is the one we always come back to, because it is creative (ok - i get that Ryan's Roll is not REAL Japanese, but get over it), service is fabulous, they remember what we like and where we like to sit. Yes, we are regulars, yet we also sample the roughly 14,312 competitors in the Las Vegas valley, and this is the winner. Setting aside the racist shots at the owners of other reviewers, they are wonderful people.

Try the Ryan's Roll - really - I am a fan of real sushi (for 30 years now) and sashimi, but this roll is worth taking the leftovers home.

This will be the last time I ever go to a KOREAN run "fake" Japanese restaurant. What was I thinking. I walked in, and they spoke a few Japanese words, and they WERE WEARING THE JAPANESE FLAG HEADBANDS. I really thought, for a second, that they were the real thing. Until you get the food. Wow...not even close to Japanese style or taste. Imagine that. Koreans trying to be Japanese. Not even close. Their attitudes suck, and their breath stinks. Stick with mondoo and kimchee.Get a life, Koreans! Don't attempt to be Japanese.

Cons: Uh...everything!

Korean's have been fooling the public for years with their "imitation" Japanese. They even wear a Japanese headband, and speak the few Japanese words as you enter and exit.
Do not be fooled by the Korean scam!!
Osaka is #!, and always will be.

First I would like to say I am amazed by some of the extremely emotional negative reviews. I think I would have to agree that some of those reviews are quite possibly coming from competitors. I Love Sushi is fantastic. I have been going to this restaurant for 5 years. I have been all over town and on the strip to other places, and absolutely NO ONE compares. It is true that it gets loud and lively in there. If you would like to avoid most of that, just don't go on their busiest days which are Friday and Saturday. My husband and I went to Australia last year and thought for sure we would have superior sushi there....NOT EVEN CLOSE TO I LOVE SUSHI! Maybe the fun atmosphere isn't for everyone, but I love it and will never waste my time going anywhere else again!

If anybody thinks this is good Japanese restaurant, you have never ever been to a real Japanese restaurant. I am sorry, but this place is Korean restaurant serving Japanese dishes, by the way, I love Korean food.
Sushi - rice is too big and the fish too thin.
Tempura - too much batter and bad oil.
Rich - cheap low quality rice.
Miso soup - maybe instant.
Green tea - very low grade.
Sushi rice - badly seasoned.

More power to them, places is always full and everyone is having a good time.

The food was so-so, the atmosphere was immature and the interior decor and outfits of the servers contrived. I was there with two friends for a quick bite out during the workweek but could barely converse because of the noise level, which was only worsened by the guy in a kamikazi costume banging a gong and shouting "I LOVE SUSHI" in the middle of the restaurant before people drink a sake-bomb, which occurred multiple times over the evening. On top of that, I got a screaming headache when I returned home, the cause of which is likely the extremely high amount of MSG they put in their food. There are enough other sushi places in Vegas that I wouldn't waste your time trying this place out.

For anyone who has ever been to Japan please do not go here. The atmosphere is completely fake with all of the waitresses wearing silk robes that I assume are supposed to be similar to a ukata or a kimono. The service was awful. Apparently our server was having a bad day and she didn't want anyone to know about it except for everyone who was in the resteraunt. It was extremely loud with dishes and plates clanking everywhere. I felt like I was in a Chilis or the Outback Steakhouse but that was not where I wanted to go. i wanted to sit down and have a nice Japanese meal. Oh, I almost forgot. If you like authentic Japanese food do not trapse through the doors of this establishment. It is American-Japanese sushi with all of those bizzare "rolls" and other dishes to include Korean, Chinese, and even some from Southeast Asia. Not good, not friendly, and not worth your time.

Im 22yrs old - ive eaten at an array of sushi joints in town, and as much as I wanted to find a better place than I LOVE SUSHI, i could not succeed. The sushi is fresh and the combinations are unique - you may also create your own sushi rolls by requesting your recipe to the "chefs". The 1 star reviews are fake and most likely made by a desperate competitor who's sushi is apparently far insuperior. Nice enviroment, friendly staff, small communication barrier. Should be a great experience if your not a moron!! for the people w/ complaints you were most likely the issue, being in the hospitality industry, and as we all know, some people lack common knowledge, yes even you rich fools that think your the s%#*. back to the sushi: TRY IT OUT -- about $5-$13 per roll.
im not into fish eggs so I cannot comment on the quality of that. im headed to I LOVE SUSHI (SERIOUSLY)
note: i have not tried sushi restaraunts on the strip

Went for lunch. My second time there. Waited 25 minutes for one roll. Waitress said there was a miscommunication between her & the chef. Asked to have some food boxed up. Waitress took the plate & never came back with the box of left overs. She said she threw it away. Manager said the best they could do is $2.00 off the bill. Oh, and I overheard the next booth complaining & wanting to see the manager.
Never again Momo!!!!!!

The food, I do admit is good. But, because the waitresses/service... on three different occasions have been absolutely rude and snobbish...we won't be going back. I don't have to explain my lengthy experience, nor will I allow I LOVE SUSHI restaurant to take my money and treat me like they are the only good sushi place in the city. Good Luck to you.

The statement that was made by who ever char c. is wrong. You just don't appreciate good food with a great environment. You got the wrong roll, because you can't explain what you want. Everyone knows that when you order sushi, it's just rice and fish. So if you got crab, then you didn't order sushi, you ordered a roll moron! What a frickin loser! Take some english classes along with a pronunciation class and maybe you will get what you want next time.
I Love Sushi is a great place to eat and ALL should enjoy what they have to offer.

I ordered around 25 dollars worth of sushi. I was having trouble describing what i wanted, So i described the roll. We'll to my suprise, they didnt know how to make it but instead dumped about 1lb of fake imitation crab meat on my freshly made sushi.
I thought it was trashy, and very unprofessional of the chef. A true chef would never serve this to anyone. I couldnt scrape it off, so i had to eat some of it and it made me sick because it was spoiled.

TRY ELSE WHERE. this is by far the worst here in LAS VEGAS.
THIS IS NO WAY NEAR TRADITIONAL. THE ONLY reason people would think this is unique is due to the fact they dont know what they're doing so they mix up what ever, and you people eat it up and call it a unique cuisine.

I am sure the Itamae spent many years training in Japan, though unfortunately his training must have been for some other profession, a blind masseur perhaps? Zatoichi would have shown more finesse cutting fish with a katana.

The tepan shrimp was so salty our mouths burned. The beef in the niku udon, though thinly sliced, was so tough we wondered if the itamae had lost his shoe in the battle with the salmon. The salmon was definitely dead though, nothing could endure that many knife wounds and live.

After some searching we found the rice hidden under the huge slabs of butchered fish. It too was dead, mummified even. The tuna seemed more alive... though not in a good way.

What made the whole experience worse, other than the fact that we had been craving sushi, was that the management?s response - after we sent back the shrimp and explained that the rest of the meal was very poor - was not an apology but rather a question: Why didn?t you complain sooner? The truth is that this was probably the first time I have ever felt compelled to return a dish and I am not entirely sure of the etiquette. When the waitress asked how everything else was I felt obliged to tell all. It was such a relief to let it all out!

They didn?t charge us for the tepan shrimp or the leather in the udon. We left in search of quality sushi to drown our sorrows.

Avoid at all costs.

I ordered on the phone. but cancelled at last minute, and the lady on the phone grunted in disgust.
I had an emergency. So after my emergency, 2 hours laster. I went to I love sushi and ordered.
a young girl took my order, i tried to explain what i wanted, i waited 20 minutes, then asked if my food was ready and within minutes she handed it to me. so i was being ignored for who knows how long.
Anyways, my order was wrong. They put about 1 lb of imitation grab on my order and it cost me 20 bucks.
My order was basically rice and fake crab and fried shrimp. What i got was basically the same thing you can make yourself. Anyways, it made me sick. I do not recommend this place to anyone, Stay away.
You really get what you pay for. BTW, i heard people saying inside this was the best in town?
To my knowledge the best in town was "Sushi-Mon" but that is no more because the owner sold it.
But i eat at Inaka. It's all you can eat and they would never ever give their customers 1lb of fake imitation grab all over their sushi.

Having had my first bite of sushi in 1987 (Tokyo Restaurant in the commerial center), I became sushi addicted, eating sushi at least once a week - more often if possible. I have eaten at many local sushi restaurants since that time and I believe that "I Love Sushi" ranks the highest. Although other sushi restaurants have quality that is equal to that of "I Love Sushi" -(Nobu, Japango's, MoMo Sushi) I believe that when you combine the vast sushi menu (with eclectic rolls), price, and service, "I Love Sushi" has no equal in the Las Vegas Valley. The Tuna is deep red and almost transparent - the tuna melts in your mouth. The "I love Sushi Roll" is made from this high quality tuna and makes for an almost org_smic experience! Uni is my favorite sushi - and "I Love Sushi" delivers - outstanding quality, large size pieces, and taste second to none. This is a must-try restaurant - but be careful, this restaurant is disconcertingly addicting!

I absolutely LOVE Sushi since I have eaten at I Love Sushi. I have daily cravings for their Sushi Tolls. The waitresses are fast and hard workers. They wear their Kimonos (is that what their called?), they will drink with you for celebration & the rolls are very fresh and creative. They have many, many rolls to choose from & definitely a variety for different tastes. Their Japanese Lasagna Rolls are VERY good and so is their Shrimp Tempura!! Their plum wine has been a favorite of my girl-friends. I've had wonderful experiences there and its great. It can romantic, fun, private, and casual. You have to try it out for yourself!

I live in seattle and travel to Las Vegas quite often. I was recommended from a friend to dine at I love Sushi and WOW! I was blown away from the food to the service. I never seen so many different types of sushi rolls and each one had unique and funny names. The interior was nicely decorated in traditional Japanese style and the waitresses wore modern kimonos. I love sushi is quite popular with the locals, so I recommend to reserve your seats ahead of time if you are planning to visit during the weekends. Try to seat at the sushi bar the chefs are great! If your lucky and the seats are open infront of James (the owner) you are in for a treat.
I found out I Love Sushi was also picked top 100 resturants in the States by the Resturant Association. The drive is a little far (about 15mins away from the strip w/out traffic) but it is so worth it!
I Love Sushi is not a typical sushi joint, it is lively and the chefs are pure entertainment.

CONS: YOU'LL WANT MORE AND MORE!!

The service is average but the food is great. The presentation of many of their dishes along with the sauces and spices provide a well rounded experience. The only complaint is the price of the menu.

PROS: Food
CONS: Price

What a great fresh place to get your sushi. The service is awesome and very accomodating. We sit around the sushi bar and talk to our chef. They always recommend something special and its aways good. Its a little pricey so becareful ordering too much and having it go to uneaten.

Thats what my wife and I call this awesome Sushi joint. When we come to Vegas to visit my family we always meet up here at least a few times where the chefs and staff know my sister by name. Best rolls on the planet. Mistake roll is awesome. Wash it all down with the large Asahi.
