The entertainer that they feature weekly was GREAT!! I didn't have a chance to visit the car museum but it will be a must when I go back!! You'll Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The museum showcases the life of the world famous Liberace. It features his wardrobe, pianos, jewery and antiques. Liberace gallery includes rhinestoned roadster, Roll Royce, and English Taxi and more. I didn't know much of Liberace but the museum was fun.

My mom is a big Liberace fan. I decided to treat her to a trip to the museum, even though it wasn't my thing, and the price was a little steep to look through a dead guy's things. However, I was surprised to find the tour actually pretty interesting. The guides are very dedicated to keeping Liberace's memory alive and knew more about him than my mom did (and she thought she knew everything). Though PETA would probably hang Liberace for the number of animals sacrificed for his wardrobe, the outfits are incredible to look at. It's in two different buildings, and it's a pain to hike across the parking lot in the heat. I'd also pass on the "cafe", which is about par to the premade sandwiches you'd find in your own grocery store at half the price. I thought the gift shop was a little lame, too; Liberace stuff supplimented with a lot of non-Liberace stuff that you'd find in any Vegas gift shop. A fun afternoon, though.

Despite the fact that admission is expensive, I actually had a good time here. All of Liberace's glittery outfits are on display as well as his very expensive cars. You can also see just about every piano he ever played. The furnishings from his bedroom are also there. Very big downfall - you can't take any pictures! The gift shop is huge, but I could only afford a postcard.

I find that visiting this museum was a waste of time that I could have spent elsewhere. There is not enough to look at for the price they are charging to get in! Very expensive!! They don't even allow you to take pictures of the stuffs in there . Also they advertise a free shuttle but it never showed up to pick us up so we took a cab. when we tried to take the shuttle back it turned out to be a van with six seats and was already full.

The Liberace Museum is a must do. Recommend this for every one. It may look like a standard strip mall, but when you enter it is all show. Worth the cost of $12, would recommend that you use the two for one coupons that you find in the free magazines around the city. See it before you go home. Major plus was the staff, they were professionnal and friendly. Excellent, go and see it before you go home!!!
