What a great bookstore. All new releases are nicely featured and harder to find books and mags are displayed in easy to access shelves. Great staff that focuses on customer service first and foremost. Love the music and movie selection as well. You might pay a few bucks more, but its well worth it when you get great service and hard to find products. Keep up the awesome job.
PROS: Customer service and the selctions of great books, music and movies
CONS: None to date

They both have cages, and mutiple things other than books, places to sit, great customer service. Its a hard choice to choose from when going here, with B&N being right across the street. Although Cold STone is right there...

I only give Four Stars because they don't carry a decent selection of European magazines. When I asked, I was told people weren't interested in those. Well, since I was asking, I am OBVIOUSLY interested. To be fair, most of the books stores in this city seem to think that there is no market for more than a few mainstream European publications or papers.
Other than that, they have a great children's section and the Classic Books section is top-notch.
PROS: Not "snobbish", good coffee shop
CONS: Not enough periodicals and what is there is hard to navigate

The customer service received was excellent. I was greeted when I walked through the door and immediately asked if I needed help. They were able to find the CD I was looking for with out any problems. I also visited their cafe which delivered service with a smile, were I enjoyed a finely prepared beverage. The over all experience was wonderful, but the store was a bit cluttered, which I must say, was not too bad considering the service I received. I will definitely continue my business with this company.
PROS: Excellent Customer Service
CONS: Cluttered

As much as I enjoy the smaller bookstores for environment, I also enjoy Borders. The salespeople know how to help a customer find what they are looking for (even the harder to find books) and easy to track down, the layout of the store is easy to navigate, and the prices are great.

I used to shy away from Borders, thinking it couldn't compare to the quality of Barnes and Noble. Recently though, I have noticed that their prices are pretty competative with B&N, and they offer a great selection. They have a wonderful coffee shop, and the whole store is pretty quiet usually.
