Ratings_icons Cheap Hotel Deal

Michael T. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 336

I have stayed for for as low $20.00 per night! This has got to be one of the best deals for a hotel stay in Las Vegas. Only thing it's lacking is a bigger casino showroom. Always crowded and hard to get through!

Ratings_icons Skip the seafood buffet

Adam A.

Went here for the seafood buffet because usually the buffet is good. We thought the seafood would be worth it. But it wasn't. Very disapointing. The stuffed blue crab shells were basically just bread not sure where the crab went! It was just disapointing all around.

Ratings_icons Good cheap rooms

Terribles is the place for those who don't want to spend the money to stay on the strip. We have found that the walk to the strip isn't bad in the morning (and it's only a $5-7 cab fare back at night). Bouganvillia's is a lovely restaurant and it's very nice having a McDonald's available right in the hotel. The gaming floor staff is friendly.

Ratings_icons Spend your money somewhere else

There are a lot of hotels in Las Vegas that you can save money at, but don't try to do it at this one. It won't be a pleasant experience. The hotel is not great, and the location isn't very good, either. Instead, find a cheap hotel at the far end of the strip. You'll be much happier with the location, and you won't have to put up with the terrible rooms here at Terribles.

Ratings_icons Good place to gamble.

Jeffrey S. | insider Insider | Rank: 32,901

I like this place because it is off the strip, and you get more attention than at other casino's. The service is alway's nice, the cocktail waitress's don't ignore you or just pass you up.

Ratings_icons Cheap food

Vienna N. | insider Insider | Rank: 15,692

There's a restaurant upstairs near the $.01 slot machines where they have great large portions for a small price. Graveyard specials are from 11 pm - 7 am and range from $1.99 to $4.99. Great food. The customer service isn't so great, but the price of the food covers it up.

PROS:
CONS: Customer Service

Ratings_icons Late Night Cafe

SaraLee A. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 4,075

Their cafe is awesome. i go to UNLV and love to go to their late night cafe. They have specials with TONS of food that range from 1.99 to 4.99. The customer service isn't the best, but overall its a great place to go eat. We usually go with a grou of friends and everyone has always left full to the brim.

Ratings_icons Small but get everything

Chard M. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 13,114

Terrible casino is not that big, but they have all kind of games like big casinos. Plenty of slot machines. They also have race and sport book and they are not bad. Parking is kind of crowded and limited. I do not know about the room and restaurant here because I have not try them yet. BUt, I will in the future...

Ratings_icons Not state of the art

Margo E. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,178

The buffet is small, the line is long, and the food is average and only a good deal if two-for-one! The bathrooms, especially the men's according to my husband, are small. The machines are nice and cocktail service is adequate.

Ratings_icons GOOD PLACE FOR THE BUDGET MINDED

BARBARA S. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 4,989

This is at a good location and rooms are ok , at a good price and the food is quite good and reasonbable. Casino slots are looser then most and if you get a players card get more perps.

Herbst have tried to jam too much Casino into too little space, the food is typical Casino food, their specialty is snow crab that has been imported from Asia, and the meat all drawn us.

Ratings_icons Hotel is good, but...

Bart A. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,231

The hotel rooms are good here and the price is very reasonable. However, the casino is very small and packed in like sardines. The resteraunts are bad. The food is lousy. Service is slow and grouchy.
