Civic Center Pet Clinic

Ohh my goodness Dr, Goldman is the best dr ever i swear you dont have a thing to worry about when he has your pets in his care this man loves what he does and our pets, every once in a while you find a true angel on earth well..Dr goldman is that he gave our lil 4 yr old min pin a spay and she did wonderful when we picked her up she even had her nails clipped no extra charge imagine that! I love dr goldman dont go anywhere else ppl plzz. ty dr goldman.

I love this vet, my cat became very sick, was yellow gums/ears and didnt eat nothing but skin and bones when he use to be a semi overweight cat and everyone I knew thought it was liver failure and told me to give up just let him pass, i had higher hopes. I took my cat to him and he spent about 2 hours looking thru the medical books to find out what was wrong after he had ran the blood tests and found out it wasn't liver failure or kitty Leukemia. I've been in vegas for 18 yrs (since i was 3) and this is the 2nd animal he has saved.. He even saved one of the first ever Rots' that we had when i was a kid from deep stages of Parvo. I hope he's around for many more yrs to come

I was in Las Vegas for a week and the cat I brought with me became ill. I checked Google to find a clinic close to where I was staying and came across the Civic Center Pet Clinic. After reading the reviews, I made an appointment. What a pleasant surprise. Being from out of town, there was no reason for us to receive special treatment. After all we are unlikely to become loyal clients! The service I received was caring and complete. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone wanting quality pet care provided by a vet who truly cares about the animals. I only wish the area in which I live had such a resource!

I was looking for a new vet for my cats and dog as my regular vet was hard to get an appointment to. I read these reviews here and made a visit. I second all the other reviewers before me! Definitely will keep coming back and will highly recommend Dr. Goldman to my friends.!

I have taken one of my cats to Dr. Goldman for a couple of tooth extractions and a abcess from a cat fight wound. Nancy and Dr. Goldman and the staff are excellent people. I moved across town recently and tried to go with a local vet (Durango Animal Hospital) and (All About Cats)...they were outrageous at $3-500 for an extraction, forcing me to have a cleaning and polish as part of the procedure????!!!! Dr. Goldman did it for around $100 and all I had to do was drive across town. The little place isn't in the best part of town and hasn't been decorated since the 1970's but that just means that they are focused on good patient care at very reasonable prices and they don't spent lavishly on non-medical expenses and then pass the costs to the patients. I love them. They even took installments on payments for me...Dr. Goldman told me he wouldn't let my pet suffer just because I didn't have the money at the time....I can't say enough about them!!

I love doctor Goldman i believe he is the best vet in the worl. He truly is a wonderful man and his staff is awesome. He is compassionate about the animals and has wonderful prices for all of his patients. I have had him for a while and i tell everyone i know that he is the best. So i encourage people everywhere to go to him for there pets. He is wonderful loving and kind and my pets love him and his staff. Nancy has talked to me so many times on concerns that i have for my pet. this is what all vets should be like.He will never overcharge his people and he cares about the animals so much. He truly wants them to get better. I remember taken my golden retriever female who was wetting on her self and instead of charging me outrages prices he tried some medicine and it worked and my girl is doing wonderful. I could never find another vet who meets up to his standards. He is the best in the world. michelle

Before my mother recomended Dr Goldman we could not find a vet to spay our dachshund for under $300. Dr. Goldman stepped in and did it for a great price!!
We now also have a pitbull terrier who he absolutely takes great care of. Great vet who has a huge heart!! I would NEVER go anywhere else.

Dr, Goldman & Nancy & I met when Rambo was end stage diabetes. They were so kind & wonderful. I am a cat woman. They have helped me with my Son's cat when Streaks had kittens, fixed & cared for Froggie & WileyCattee & Bear... They have fixed my cats . They have cared for my cats when they were sick. Pagan was a gorgeous BIG Siamese who got cancer & Dr. Goldman & Nancy were so wonderful with us when it was time to let Pagan go to the light.
Froggie is almost 8 yrs old now. She is showing some signs of anemia, white gums & tongue, tired , cold, no energy. I am living 360 miles from Vegas & I have told people I wish I was near the Civic Center Pet Clinic. I have an appt with a vet 2 more days from now but I know that Froggie would have seen the doc a week ago if I still lived in Vegas.I know that they would have cared for my cat.
What can I say? Civic Center Pet Clinic touched my heart & my life & I wish I was close to you!

I first met Bob and Nancy Goldman back in 1979 when we adopted a cat and dog. Thru the years, Doc Goldman took care of all our pets. He cried with me when my beloved white cat, Stormie, passed away. Nancy helped me out tons when we celebrated our first seder meal, with pronounciations of Hebrew words. I cant thank them enough. Now, my cat, Nefertiti, is not doing so well. I trust Doc Goldman and his staff to take care of her, and if neccessary, help her thru her final steps to the other side.

All the pets in our family (grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, my husband and my grown children) have been patients of Dr. Goldmans since his practice opened its doors in 1971. As a native Las Vegan, I'm honored that he is still a valued member of our community. Dr. Goldman is a veterinarian that loves what he does and is extremely honest in all his interactions. Dr. Goldman has cried with us when we have lost a beloved family member and celebrated in the joy of love when we have new family members. My earliest memories include Dr. Robert & Nancy Goldman. I feel fortunate to still have them in my life 37 years. They will treat your pet right.

i have a 7 mth old black pitbull terrier and out of no where he quite eating and drinking.he began sleeping allot and refused to play with the kids,so i rushed him to the animal emergency hospital on west Charleston,and that was the most horrible event of my life.the doctor comes in after me being the only one in the whole place for damn near an honest hour and says "i cant diagnose him so ide like to start with a urinalysis and xray and if that don't tell me nothing then ill go to blood test"so she leaves and the nurse comes in with the estimated bill and it says 600 bucks.i told her i didn't have that kinda money isn't there something you could do for him,they come back with "we don't do this for free"so i paid 200 for a shot of liquid and antibiotic to get him through the night and took him to the civic center pet clinic where my dreams were met with a wonderful staff,and an awesome doctor that cares more about the pet and getting them well than getting paid.i wont go anywhere else.i always thought doctors took an oath to help those in need of medical help and the emergency room on Charleston shook that belief in me and civic center pet clinic restored it.

I've been looking around forever to find somewhere cheap to neuter my dog and give shots to my new puppy!!! I couldn't wait any longer, since I want the puppy to be protected against so many things before he gets a chance to get them. Everybody charges a load of money but here they seem to care more about providing the service than making money. I hope they run this place for a long, long, long, long time!!!!

I adore Dr. Goldman and his staff. Finally there is a Vet out there that cares about the anmimals 1st and formost!!! Not about the money. I trust him with my aninmals. Because I know he cares about them whole heartedly. Other vets are more about the money which is such a shame. I don't know what we would have done with out Dr. Goldman and his staff.

PROS: Caring, awesome, loving, affordable, BEST VET AROUND!
CONS: NONE!!

I LOVE THIS VET BECAUSE THEY DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OVERCHARGE YOU FOR ANY LITTLE THING. THEY ARE THERE TO TEND TO ANY OF YOUR NEEDS AND SAVE US HUNDREDS. i'VE BEEN TO OTHER VETS THAT MIGHT CHARGE ABOUT THREE TIMES AS MUCH FOR THE SAME CONDITION OR VACCINES. THE ONLY THING IS WHEN IT COMES TO EMERGENCIES THEIR HOURS ARE VERY LIMITED AND I HAVE TO GO ELSEWHERE ON EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS.

I really like Civic Center Pet Clinic because they took such good care of Piakea. Piakea is my 2yr old black cockerspanel who was sufferinf from a skin problem. She would get these red rashy welts around her botton and legs that would make her and the whole family itch.
I had taken her to two clinics before Civic Center and they did not know what to do. Civic Center kept her over night and and fixed the problem. They even said that if they came back again they would treat her for free. Now I go there to get her shots and just about every thing else for Piakea.
