Bat-R-Up has restored my son's confidence, faith in himself, and appreciate the great staff, all that is availlable for him to improve and have fun doing it.
After having a very bad experience this past season with the manager , you Al Ramirez ,in whom he trusts completly have brouht Nicky full circle to be himself and happy for the first time since before spring of this year.

You have 12 hitting options, with machines and tunnels. You have a top-notch pitching instructor and a former Major Leaguer giving hitting lessons. They are prompt in getting you in the cages when your time begins and the MEMBER prices are beyond reasonable. This is a first-class place, just check for yourself:www.batruplasvegas.com

I went to the cages even after reading the bad review. I went there mostly because two of my friends were silly/retarded enough to think they had a chance in competing against me. I worked those cages like as if it was fat girl at the bar at 2:30. They on the other hand were ask weak as I figured they would be. I was pleased over all with the location of the pitches but can't say the same for my two friends. The cages were good for both right and left handed batters. I know because I am a dominate switch hitter. eehhhh...........

PROS: I won money off my friends
CONS: the bathroom was a little dirty like previously stated in another review

As I stood at the plate inside the cage, I became aware that the machine was delivering pitches too low and outside for an old man like me who had been away from the game for longer than he cares to admit. I told the boy running the machine that I wanted the throw adjusted. The machine was set for the strike zone of a young boy who hit in the cage before I entered.

The young employee was flip and informed me that I had to talk to the man at the desk. As I approached the desk, the man (perhaps the owner) rose from his seat and expressed his anger at my request, informing me that I couldn't ask a real pitcher to adjust to my needs. Clearly he was right as this is why I went to a batting cage and not to the Yankee's spring training camp.

He refused to listen to my simple request and demanded I leave.

I suspect he makes his money from little league teams. His mistake was assuming that I was only a n $8/15 min customer. If he hadn't been so off balance and gesticular, I might have become a $50 per week customer. Perhaps that isn't much, but it is $50 more than he has today.

Go visit his facilities. With his attitude and temperment, they won't be around after he treats the wrong customer badly.

PROS: Nice equipment
CONS: Rather hostile customer service

My son begs to go to this place! And honestly, I don't mind taking him. You can choose batting tunnels or a machine, and even have someone pitch or give pitching practice for a small fee. I think the machines are like 8.00 for 15 minutes and 30 minutes for 15.00. They also have times when a baseball team can reserve a machine. They have a comfortable area for moms like me to sit and watch. The guy at the front was very paitient with me while trying to decide what I wanted.

PROS: Comfortable place, fair cost, indoors, persoanl instruction!
CONS: Bathrooms kind of icky
