I brought my just 2 year old in to the Silverado Ranch location for his first haircut. He was afraid and uncooperative, which I assumed they would be prepared for. The stylist wasn't friendly or patient and the haircut (I only wanted the front trimmed so the three snips would be a more appropriate term) was totally uneven. I brought him to a real haircutter because I knew I would get it uneven. Turns out I could have spared the trip and saved $20 by doing it myself for the same result.
You know it's hard enough to get our son to sit still while eating, but to have him sit still while getting a haircut?
Well, Cool Cuts 4 Kids off of Silverado Ranch Blvd and Eastern Avenue provides a great atmosphere to keep your kids entertained.
1. For one in the small waiting area, they have a toy area as well as a couple of Nintendo or Playstation game systems to play on.
2. Their "chairs" that they have your kids sit on can be a regular salon chair (with a booster seat) or a car chair or a plane chair, etc.
3. Your kids can pick a video for them to watch while getting their haircut.
PROS: They provide toys/games/video to keep your kids entertained.
CONS: Could be a little cheaper.
My mom took my niece here for her first haircut. They rook a picture and gave her a lock of hair. There are cool toys and video games for the kids while they wait and they can play video games or watch a DVD while they get their hair cut...I wanna get mine cut here too but I'm to OLD.
What a great concept. This is the perfect place to take your child when waiting for a haircut. I wish I would've thought of this idea. I highly recommend this place.
They have videos, games and toys to play with when your chile is waiting for a haircut.
PROS: Great variety of toys to play with
CONS: only two workers cutting hair, could be long wait on weekends
This is the best place to take your small children to get their hair cut. It offers movies and video games for the children to watch/plat while their hair is being cut. The waiting area has a train track, legos and a television to keep the children entertained while waiting. The staff is very friendly and great with the children. You get a souvenier when your child has his/her first haircut. We tried Supercuts once with our toddler and yes it was about $5.00 cheaper but the haircut was horrid.
This shop is great for taking kids to get their haircut, especially is your child doesn't like getting their haircut. My 4 year old hated getting his haircut, but this place made it fun for him. He no longer fights getting his haircut. The prices are very reasonable. You also don't need to have an appointment, because they also take walk-ins. I've done both and I never have a long wait time.
Cool Cuts for Kids is a fun place to take your child for a haircut. The salon is colorful and clean. Each station features a tv, vcr and video game to keep the kids occupied while they're getting their hair cut. They can choose from a selection of videos and games they keep on hand. There are also computers and a Thomas the Train set-up to keep the kids busy while they wait. The prices are good, and the staff is attentive to what the parents want. They also do adult hair so you can get a quick cut while the kids play. You can sign up for a savings club, too.
