If you ever wondered what a prison is like... this is it! Sundance Village is full of convicts, loud fights, and cops at all hours of the day & night! The show cops could get 10 episodes at this aapt complex..
Unsafe, unkept, unattractive .. that also describes the tenants here!

Pros: Short lease

Cons: Where do I start? ...

.

When I moved out of the Sundance Village Apartments in Las Vegas NV, it was April 30, 2008. I scrubbed every inch of that place and left it spotless.

For the next few months, I had to call almost daily trying to get my $350 deposit back. Everytime that I called, I got the runaround from the assistant manager, Lucy. She would always pass the buck off on the former employee named Jessica, who just so happened to move away to another property and was for some reason "the only one person capable of handling the return of my deposit". Lucy would never allow me to speak to her manager, Lori Valencia. Lori Valencia would never return my calls, either.

Is was until July 5, 2008 that I received a $140 deposit refund check from PacificCap. Imagine that. After 65 days of pleading for my deposit refund, PacificCap and the girls over at Sundance Village Apartments of Las Vegas only returned 40% of my original security deposit.

I called again to ask why I was being shorted so unfairly. After all, I left the place spotless and ready for the next tenant to move into right after I moved out. After they avoided my calls and messages for a whole week thereafter, Lucy finally took my call and said the remaining 60% of my security deposit was held back for cleaning and painting expenses. What a crock of crap! I left my apartment spotless and painting is expected by management without extra charges. It didn't even need new paint. I bet a brushstroke never even contacted those walls; and if it did, it should not be milked out of the last tenant. Paint and carpet cleaning are normal wear that is supposed to be incurred by the management, not the tenant.

PacificCap and the Sundance Village Apartments are just running a scam. They are keeping way more than they should from their tenants with no valid justification.

Is this the type of management that you would entrust with your hard-earned money? I hope you look elsewhere in your search for fair housing in the Las Vegas apartment market, because PacificCap Management and the Sundance Village Apartments are losers who know that they can get away with scamming their hard-working tenants' - a real sorry way to add to the already sad current economy.

As for the complex as a whole, you can do way better than settling for housing at the Sundance Village Apartments in Vegas.

Crack-heads and gang-bangers roam the parking lots and playgrounds at all hours of the day and night.

Punks break into cars all the time there; but usually they just vandalized the contents because they aren't exactly smart enough to actually steal the whole car - like they did to mine. Live at Sundance Village and your car and renters insurance will be in one of the high premium locations in all of Vegas. If you like police cars and paramedics attending to complaints and disturbances everynight, Sundance is just the place for you. Hopefully, you are childless and don't mind all the fuss. If you have children, don't put your children in this environment. You can find places way safer and better than Sundance Village in Vegas.

The pool hardly ever is working and closed, so kids don't have anywhere to stay cool and out of trouble during the hot months.

Getting mail from a really scuzzy mailroom is a joke there. You have to rummage through piles of mail left unsecured and out in thge open area for anyone to sift through at will, compromising your privacy and identity.

Hopefully, tenants will find better housing provided by better management companies in Vegas. They are they shame of beautiful Vegas.

If I wasn't so worried about my credit rating I would move out! My car was stolen, my neighbors are drunk and fight out in the yard all the time. The maitenance staff doesn't speak English so how am I supposed to talk to them. The pipes are bad, the crime is high. The staff is rude and unattentive. Hardly any of the equipment works in the fitness area and they don't even have a real mailbox! If you don't mind being afraid to leave your own apartment go ahead and move in here.

I enjoyed living here, I would not have moved if it wasn't for buying a house. They gave me awesome maintenance service or sooner! The staff here is so warm and truley cared for my needs. They offer services that allowed me conveniences in my busy schedule! The grounds were always beautiful! The apartments have an open feeling with alot of windows and pretty walls already pre-painted for you! I loved the courtyard areas and the pool have this built in mist that keeps the areas cool in the heat of the summer! I had never seen that before! We loved being outdoors under these misters! Most of all i have to say that i have never felt so comfortable with the staff and my neighbors! oh yeah! I have to mention that the apartments are so peaceful! They are right next to the mountain side where I took walks! Very peaceful and enjoyed every minute of my stay! I highly recommend these apartments!!!
