.

My contractor used DK Drywall on our house for the drywall and stucco. The stucco looks great but parts are still unfinished, especially under the eaves. The owner said he'd finish the job when he came back to do another house in the following two weeks. That was a year ago. The workers left parts of their uneaten lunch inside the house. They broke a sliding glass door but didn't tell the owner so I had to call and tell him it needed to be replaced. We had a trailer on the property and some workers took the sway bars. My husband told them they weren't getting paid until the bars were returned. The next day the roofer said, "Some guys came by and dropped off something by your barn." Yep, the bars were back. I wasn't happy with the color and to be fair, the owner offered to come back and redo it but I declined. It took ten hours to get all of the stucco off of my brand-new Pella windows and I didn't want to have to do it again. The only time the owner came out to check on the job his workers were doing was when we complained about the rotting food left in the house and the broken slider. After the sway bars were taken, we told DK Drywall that either the owners or the contractor had to be on the property; they were not to be there alone. Like I said, they did a nice job on the interior and the outside looks great, at least the parts they did, but were they worth the trouble? No way! Find someone else.
