Dr Hammes is a fine doctor in my words. Having used him for six years with no issues on only shots was great, but at this moment with our sick little baby, He and his staff are really going the extra mile to try and help her recover. I highly suggest him.

Dr. Hammes and all of his staff went the extra mile to try and save my little Sophie. She was treated with love, care, and was given the best medical attention possible. Not only did they care about Sophie, but showed that same care towards me as well. I would highly recommend anyone who wants the best for their pet to experience what I did with the professional and personal care of Dr. Hammes and his staff at Alta Buffalo Hospital. A special thank you to Toni and Alice. They truly do care about your babies as much as you do! There are no words to express the gratitude in my heart for all you did.

I found a dog one morning on my way to work. I had no idea what I was going to do with him so I dropped him off at Buffalo/Alta Animal Hospital and they took the steps to return him to his home. They really care.

We were thrilled to have our breeder refer us to Dr. Brian Hammes and his staff. Each and every one of them are so very caring, not only to our puppy and her needs, but to us as well. The cost is very reasonable, and the care that you will receive is beyond any expectations you may have.I will highly recommend Dr. Hammes to anyone looking for the utmost professional, yet highly personal care for your pet and yourself!

Very caring with your pets! You can tell that they appreciate every dog that comes through the door. They're willing to work with you if you have a financial budget which was a really great thing for us after seeing two other hospitals that were charging crazy prices.

The staff at this vet is sooo nice. I feel like I am part of their family. Also, they explain everything in detail so that I understand what they are talking about. I have learned a lot from them...I never second guess anything they explain to me. It is a small business so their pricing are just a tiny bit more than other bigger vets but the customer service and experience is always pleasant.
Pros: FRIENDLY AND INFORMATIVE, KIND AND ALWAYS REMEMBER US
Cons: a little bit more expensive but worth it.
