Overall this is a Great Day Care & the tuition (which includes food) for your children is a Great value in comparison to some other day cares around town that are more costly and do not include breakfast or lunch. The only problem I found with this day care is that my son would get what they call an "Ouchie" report Every week, sometimes twice a week. He had numerous bite marks (with imprinted teeth) on his stomach, thigh, arms, etc and a HUGE scratch on his neck that left a scar. Every week I was stopped when picking him up to sign off on another "Ouchie" Report. He is in the 1-2 yr old class and I know some children are "biters" at that age and don't know any better, but it makes you wonder what sort of care these kids are getting if your kid comes home weekly looking like he was in a war. Also the "Supervisor, Melissa Cummings" they have (not the Director, Tina) is horrible. She is not Very nice at all. I've heard her speaking to both her staff & parents and she does not seem to enjoy her job at all. She can be Very rude in the way that she speaks to her staff, in down talking them. WHY she is a "Supervisor" I have no idea. She always has an unhappy look on her face, like Everything bothers her. There is suppose to be New Management taking over next month, and hopefully they will make some good changes. I chose, however, to move my son to a new day care where they offer a web cam for free, which is a bit more costly but may have better supervision of the children.

I am a Mini Skool staff member for two years off and on, althoughtthe childcare center has a lot of problems, and I mean a lot it has improved a lot since Shannon Killeen has taken over as Director (Rancho Center) A dozen or so staff members have been fired, and toys have been bought. I am not here to justify the center, or the actions that the staff have previously made, or the way either of you parents were treated, because lets just say that was unacceptable! I do know the center has been going up and down a rocky boat... for years... I do know tuition prices have been increased - and wages have also dropped in the last week. Teachers are now recieving a 2.5% pay decrease, and Directors and assistants were giving a 3.5% decrease. I am sure everyone thinks " this is what the center gets," but honestly when daycare only pays $7.00 an hour it is kind of rediculous. Anyways, im not here to gripe - But I would like to let you and everyone know there is new staff and new management so please check it out...

I cannot agree more with the 1st parents review of this school...I took my two youngest children there one who had been daycare since she was an infant and never had a problem, but she cried everyday that she was there. My son also cried all day everyday and the staff tried to tell me that he would get use to it, but I always felt there was something more. One morning when I dropped my kids off the receptionist told me to take them into the 1st room where all kids were being left at since no other teachers had arrived, when I walked in there were over 30+ kids and I saw no teacher in sight. No toys, kids crying, and others looked scared and lost...I finally saw the adult who was suppose to be taking care of them. It was an 18 year old girl who was in the corner on top of the counter getting mad at other little kids for touching her because she was going to get sick. I was so upset I went back to the front and demanded to speak to the director, I advised her of what I just witnessed and pulled my kids from the center that same day. My kids to this day tell me how awful and mean the staff was
to them. (I only left them there for 4 days) Warn everyone about this center, ot should be shut down!!!

This is the worst day care in the city of Las Vegas. With the exception of one or two staff members, one being Mrs. Kris. The other staff is lazy and not interactive at all with new parents. One teacher instructed another kid to hit my child, and call him names. The other teacher told my child to hit another student. When brought to the attention of the director, she blew me off. I would not recommend anyone taking their child to this daycare.
