I stayed there for two nights and the air conditioner was not working!!!! It was over 100 degrees outside and the room would get very hot and unbearable! They never came in to clean the room! There was four of us in the room and they only gave us one towel!!! This was my first time at a Motel 6 and my LAST! I recommend you not to stay there!!!!!!!

Stayed here last year and plan to stay again this year. Rooms were nothing special but clean and comfortable. Lots of gambling choices. Great comps for free rooms and tournaments. Restaurants were reasonable priced and food was good. Tony Roms's was very nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. good security

First time we came to Las Vegas we decided to stay downtown because all the reviews said that it offered the 'real' Vegas experience. Looking back, I think we made the wrong decision. The hotel itself is clean and the staff really are as friendly. The reasons I wouldn't recommend this hotel is mainly due to it's location, which is a bus journey from the main strip, which coming back at night took over an hour. It also has no pool (although I believe you can use the golden nuggets pool across the street).Advice, head south!

The fremont hotel is connected with the Cal and we only went here because the Cal was filled and we were given a room at teh fremont instead. Honestly if you blind folded me and put me in the room, I wouldn't know what hotel I was in between the two. Though that's not really saying much as the hotels are very much just a place to stay. The gambling here is fine, there are plenty of tables and of course as it's downtown there are plently of hawaii people playing and working in the casino.

Hawaii visitors usually try to stay downtown. There you can see many familiar faces. The Fremont has friendly staff who remember you during your stay. The rooms are nothing special, but they are nicely furnished and comfortable; and you always get a good rate here.
