Fidelity National Title

I have used both Cyndee Roubal and Anne Bostick They provided me with excellent service both before and after closing. They were flexible and even worked overtime to get me closed early. Perhaps there was a personality clash between Ric R. and Anne and Cyndee because I have nothing but wonderful things to say!

In an industry where everyone sells the same product, service is the key differentiator. Cyndee Roubal and Anne Bostick provide horrible service. I got dragged into using them by a Seller, and thought they would work out since they primarily focus on large accounts.
They staggered the necessary forms so not all could be executed prior to a vacation.
They lost track of and forgot about the deposit.
They messed up the interest bearing account. We still haven't received a 1099 form.
They jacked up the escrow charges and nickle and dimed on all the fees.
I asked them basic question about tranfer tax rules in the county the property was purchased in, and they told me to hire an attorney.
Don't walk but run to one of many many other options. I know my problems are with these two bad apples but I will refuse to ever use Fidelity for any other transaction.
Interesting that the only great review here was written by "Cindy R". Could that be Cyndee Roubal?

I closed on my home November 2007. Everything went smoothly at that time. The closing officer was fine. I really had no complaints. Then a lien was discovered (by me!). Isn't it their job to find these things out? I shouldn't have to do the research because that is what they charge to do.

I went there in person to try and resolve the problem and was told they would get right on it. This would normally would be just a paperwork situation but it is not. The lien is though Republic Services which means they refuse to collect the garbage until it is taken care of. I have made three other visits with no resolution. Each time I have been told that they have not received information from the company. When I speak to Republic Services they state they have faxed it twice.

If you would like to be inconvenienced by having to take your garbage to the dump then this is a great company to do business with, otherwise, you may want to choose differently.

I closed in November, 2007 and this still is not fixed as of February 11, 2008. Does it really take that long to receive and process a fax? I don't think it does.

Please never do business with this company again. The are ran by a special " all men's group" The sexually assault their employees. It is a known fact that to keep your job at Fidelity, you must accept the sexual gestures. There is so much internal theft going on inside there own company. That the clients are their last priority.

OUR REALTOR RECOMMENDED USING FIDELITY NATIONAL TITLE FOR THE CLOSING ON OUR HOME. IT IS ALWAYS SUCH A EMOTIONAL TIME WHEN PURCHASING A HOME. USUALLY THERE AR "HIDDEN" COST THAT YOU ARE NOT PREPARED FOR. ONCE YOU GET TO TITLE FOR CLOSING & THE TITLE OFFICER HANDS YOU A COPY OF THE CLOSING STATEMENT YOU ARE IN SHOCK FOR ABOUT 10 MINS. BUT TO OUR PLEASANT SURPRISE, IT WAS NOT THAT WAY W/ FIDELITY NATIONAL TITLE. THROUGHOUT THE LAST WEEK BEFORE CLOSING THE TITLE OFFICER KEPT US VERY INFORMED AS TO WHAT THE CHARGES WOULD BE. SHE FAXED US A PRELIMINARY CLOSING STATEMENT EXPLAINING EACH ITEM. SHE ANSWERED OUR QUESTIONS, SHE RETURNED OUR NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS, SHE WAS JUST A VERY NICE LADY. WHEN WE ARRIVED AT THE CLOSING WE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THE COST WERE AND WHY WE WERE BEING CHARGED FOR CERTAIN ITEMS. COMING FROM OREGON TO NEVADA SOME OF THE REAL ESTATE LAWS ARE DIFFERENT & SHE EXPLAINED THE "WHY'S" OF CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS. WE RECOMMAND THIS TITLE COMPANY TO ANYONE THAT NEEDS A TITLE COMPANY.
