Las Vegas Natural Hstry Museum

While I think they are on the right track with the information they are presenting, in the city of glitz and glamour, they need to overhaul their facility. The day we went it was almost like a ghost town and I think I know why. The musty, mildewy smell is almost overpowering and it's not in the greatest part of town. Admission is very reasonable at just $5.00 per person. If you've never gone and are looking for something to do, it's worth the trip, but I think once is enough.

The Museum is not that great. Its old and not that fun for adults and children. All they do is take you in a room with stuffed animals in it and tell you that they died in the Ice Age.

I went there on some group trips and it could be better but I learned alot. There was so much variety and I especially love the little library they have in there with historical documents. The people are always willing to answer questions and are so nice.

The museum was great, but they need to organize how they run their school tours through the museum, without interrupting families that are there going through the museum as well. Also they need to fix there hands on child exploration area. A lot of the manipulatives were broken.
