Memphis Championship Barbecue

Memphis Championship Barbecue is my husband's favorite restaurant and one of my top picks! It is great for us because they have food very similar to Barbecue restaurants back home in the southeast. If you just moved to Vegas and are missing that southern hospitality and SWEET TEA, you must check out this restaurant. Don't forget to ask for the creamed corn as one of your sides! We have been to the Warm Springs location and the South Rainbow location and had really good dining experiences at both. However, the Rainbow location had SUPER FAST SERVICE! Our food is usually on the table within minutes. If you insist on a fancy restaurant atmosphere, don't bother going. (That should be obvious to anyone walking in the door there.) If you are looking for a great family-friendly restaurant with good food and affordable prices, I highly recommend!

PROS: Great prices and great food.
CONS: Barbecue is not just like my family made it back home, but still yummy.

My husband and I went their as we were told the food was great. The first time the food was so-so, it was at lunch time. We didn't have to wait long for a table, but had to wait to place our order. We weren't impressed, but thought it may be an off day, so we decided to go another time around 5 pm. We got a booth right away, had a long wait until a waiter came to take our order. We had an even longer wait to get our food and my husband had to send his ribs back as they were not very warm. It was very noisy and the booth next to us had screaming kids. I was done eating by the time they brought my husband's dinner. All in all, we will not return to that restaurant.

PROS: Not far from home. Get seated quickly.
CONS: Not happy with the service or the food.

This place is known for great BBQ and I found that to be very true. I love the food there but hate the atmosphere. The restaurant gets really loud and I hate it when I have to scream during a meal. So if you like good BBQ and don't mind the crowds this would be the perfect place for you or otherwise get foods to-go like me.

They have excellent service with even better food. The ribs are delicious. It is very clean and has a very warm atmosphere. It is great as a quiet date or a group party

I think they fly the ribs in from Memphis, slather a so-so sauce on and present it. My experience has been just fair, food mediocre, service fair, and surroundings early depression.

This is my favorite BBQ restaurant in Henderson and Las Vegas. The prices are so great and affordable and the food is to DIE for. Now I admit that I get the same thing allot but I am trying new dishes! I've only had beef and pork so far, basically because it is so good. The food doesn't taste like your average BBQ restaurant food, it tastes like home made BBQ no doubt! The sides are masterful as well. One time I had the creamed corn half expecting it to be gross but it was so good I was surprised and happy. They sprinkle this magic dust on almost everything and I don't blame them, it goes with everything. It basically has a BBQ taste to it, but it is something special. If you haven't eaten there then you're a ding-a-ling!

PROS: Great customer service, flawless food, and big booths!
CONS: None.
