Well, I am not surprised at all about the bad reviews on Funnys. I worked there between 2005-2006. I have still yet to get a w-2 for 2006! The management was horrible and the expectations of the employees are outrages when it comes to they are paid only $7 an hour! Everyone should agree to NOT take it oput on the employees. They are being abused and overthrown by an employer who does give a crap what they think. If you want better service, goto a Terribles. Yes their prices might be a couple cents more, but the treatment of customers exceeds that! Jody needs to grow up and give the business to his brother! :P

This is the worst of the worst!! OMG!! Jody the owner should be put out to pasture. He apparently never took a course in CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was in for my weekly fill up, decided to get a Premium Car Wash & then went inside. Decided to play Double Double Bonus nickel poker & was dealt the four 4's. Held all 4 cards hoping for a Kicker, of ace, 3 or 4. Hit Deal and the 4 of hearts bounced off and no kicker. Hence i was paid for 3 of a kind. Told the manager, Denise. Who in turn said the owner was out at Lowes 7 when he got back she would tell him what happened. I left my name & number. He called me & told me he checked the machine & yes I was dealt the hand exactly the way I said. However, he said I did not hold the 4th 4 & I was screwed. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I said to him, excuse me, why would anyone NOT hold all 4 winning cards. He ranted & raved & then said he would call IGT to come out but I would have to pay for their service call. It wasn't coming out of his pocket & the $40 I won he wasn't going to pay, even though the machine showed I was dealt the hand. He was arrogant, rude, demeaning, etc, etc..Doesn't know the 1st thing about owning or operating any kind of business. I have been going there for years & so have many of my friends & family. But as of yesterday, no one I know will ever go back. Anytime, ESPECIALLY, in the state of our current economy one would think a business owner would go above & beyond to hold on to any business that comes his way. That is DEFINITELY NOT THE CASE WITH THIS FUNNY'S located at 4747 RANCHO across from the Santa Fe Station Casino. If less then 1 star was available that's what I would give this business!!

Sat. May 23/09. I drove to Funny's to have my BBQ propane bottle filled.I unloaded it at the propane dispensing area and looked to the station. Not expecting anyone to show I walked across the lot to request service. Upon entering the store I saw that my empty propane bottle was easily visible from the check out area. I waited my turn in line. When it was my turn I told the cashier I was the customer seeking a fill on the empty propane bottle. He said (joking) but not funny: I know, Every one is busy we're debating who will come out to help you when we can. I did something I rarely do. I pulled a dollar out of my pocket and killed time playing nickel poker on a video machine. 15 to 20 minutes later when the dollar was gone. I went to the check out and asked what my propane bill was. I was told to go out and get the balance from the woman out at propane dispensing and come back to pay. I walked out across the parking lot seeing that she was in fact busy. A man who just had two tanks filled passed me heading in to pay. Another man was beginning to get his tank filled. As I approached I asked her how much my fill was. She said what did you do to the coller guard?(it is dented). I expanded that it took a header off the back of the truck. She asked if it had been filled sense then. The answer being yes many times. By Funny's. I asked what my total was again and she said: I didn't fill it because you weren't out here. Sinclair gas is 2 blocks north up the street. They filled my bottle quickly with no questions asked.

I went to Funny's (NOT a funny place at all) yesterday morning to fill up with gas and get a car wash (I was doing business across the street and I also live in the neighborhood). Today, when I went out to my car, I went around the back of it and noticed that the car wash hadn't washed the back of my car. (I took pictures.) So, after driving around town all day, for my job, I ended at Funny's before heading home. I wanted a refund for what I didn't get: a clean car. It would do no good to get it washed again because the equipment obviously wasn't operating correctly. I wanted to go elsewhere and get it washed. I waited in line and the surly cashier (I watched how she interacted with the customers. YIKES. Someone needs customer service training!) couldn't help me. Then, I had to wait for the manager. I waited, and waited, while he filled about a half dozen propane tanks at the other end of the lot. I was afraid, yet another, customer would be served before me so I asked about going out to see him. (The answers I got were truly lacking in customer service.) As he walked toward the store, I went out to greet him, smiled, and asked to speak with him. Showing him my receipt for about $50 total, I told him what happened and, not only did he not even bother to give a polite answer, he told me there was "nuthin" he could do about it. I informed him that I had paid for a service in good faith and expected to get it or a refund. He continued in his snotty manner and walked into the store - dismissing me. Now I was mad. I had been ripped off, made to wait, and treated like crap. I asked for his name and he spit it at me. Tom. To be honest, I was so shocked at his attitude that I don't remember what I said, but when he said something snotty again I got MAD. I wanted to use the "f" word, but I don't swear. I tried calling him a jackass, but it came out as "jack off" (mixing the two) and he started yelling at me and "chased" me to my car in a menacing and intimidating manner. (I refused to be bullied.) My back had been towards him and he probably presumed I said the "f' word. He kept yelling at me and I kept my car between us, opening my door to keep him from getting to me. He went down the other side. At some point, he actually wanted to look at the car. I showed him the v-shaped swath down the middle of the back (starting at the top outer corners of car and coming down to a 1 foot wide "point" near the bottom). But, throughout this whole ordeal he was yelling at me and telling me I had an anger issue (HIS face was the one turning purple.) I told him he had ripped me off. In the course of the altercation I called him a jackass two or three times. Anyway, he was very mean, intimidating, threatening, and bullying. At the back of the car (when I had showed him brush marks and dirt) he yelled at me about wanting my name. I was wearing my name tag and, while pointing to the tag, said my name. THEN he yelled at me to get in the store so he could get my name. I reminded him, I had just told it to him. No way, was I going into the store with this bully. He continued to be nasty, kicking me off the property, and I told him I was going to call the police and make his life a living hell. (Like he had just made mine.) I sat in my car and called the police. So, tell me folks. Who's right? A customer that just wanted what she paid for or Tom?When I got home I cried I was so shaken up. Thanks a lot, you JACKASS. I know about 200 people in the neighborhood (from my church) and you can be darned sure I will tell them about Tom the JACKASS.Mad? YOU BET! (Go across the street to Jones Feed and pay the 50 cents to use your debit card. Or get the same price and pay cash.)

This place is very convinently located by my neices school. I get my gas here and I pick her up very quickly. Not only is it conviniently located, but the staff is amazing too. The are always pleasant and kind. The gas prices are like rock bottom compared to other gas stations in Nevada!
