I had thier ramen and it didn't taste very authentic. I can't tell you what's missing. Although they have a very good selections of authentic Japanese food, taste is not that good if you know what the real Japanese dishes tastes like.
If you want authentic dishes then I would recommend Shuseki.

So one day I'm out and about and then I see this place, and I'm a big ramen fan, so I go and check it out...

This place is like walking into a little restaurant in Japan. I was highly impressed with the atmosphere, but what I was mostly impressed with is the food, and the variety of food as well.

First of all, the salad I had was so good I almost didn't want to eat anything else, just order a bunch of side salads. Then the soup was great, I wish I knew how to make soup like that. But just from eating the sides I could tell that they put a lot of care into the food they serve.

I've only been a few times but I really like this place, and my girlfriend who is really obsessed with japanese stuff thinks its a great place as well, I can tell she gets super super happy when she's there.

One thing I do not like about this place is they do not accept credit cards, which was kindof annoying the first time we went there, but now we expect it...so one word of advice, bring cash!

The prices were really reasonable, and I would recommend this place to anyone. They have a huge variety of food too, with a big ramen section of their menu, of course.
