I think Styles For Less is a great store. If I need something and I find it there and I can afford it .Of course they don't always have what I'm looking for. But I have to admit that they have a lot of unique stuff that others don't have. I used to worked in a retail shop, and I always greeted people who came in but I didn't get response all the time. It makes me so upset. So I think the staffs are friendly and helpful but maybe there are days when they feel tired for being there so long and sometimes it's boring to be working in retail. So please be considerate and thoughtful

I know this is a big store, but it is hard to find someone knowledgeable to help you. We had to find two different people to help us with a question regarding some ceiling fans. They did not know what was on sale and what was not we were even looking in the add trying to figure it out with the associates. This always seems to be a problem is finding someone to help you.

I was there to pick up certain flooring items as we were laying a wood floor. I needed something to join both wood and ceramic together. After standing in an isle forever, a man who worked there, finally approached me to ask if I needed any help. I explained what I needed, and he "started" to help. As he was in the middle of helping me so to speak, a younger woman who was dressed in "revealing" type shirt entered same isle. He proceeded to end helping me, walked right away and went over to her to help this woman. I in turn needed to find someone else. Who then ended up selling me the wrong thing. I ended up going to Lowe's where I was treated much better.

They have nice things to decorate and fix up your house inside or out but trying to do any type of return is a disaster. It took us 30 minutes to do a return just for cement, which was just bought that we had a receipt for and nothing was opened. Gone elsewhere since then.

Since I have moved into my home (2 weeks ago) I have been to Home Depot many times and everytime I go, the staff is so friendly and helpful. Today I wanted a piece of pipe that wasn't on the shelf and a man that didn't even work in that department went out of his way to help me. They always have everything I need and it is easy to find.
PROS: helpfull and organized
CONS: nothing

I waited for almost 25 minutes just for someone to make a key for me. The cashiers tried to page someone multiple times, but there was never any response. It was like they didn't even want to help. When someone finally came up, they were so rude, it was like I was interrupting their day. I will never shop there again.

The only thing that keeps this from being a 4 star rating is the service. Home Depot has all of the inventory you'd expect in a large home improvement store and tools large and small. They also carry appliances, gardening supplies and plants. You can find just about anything for your home improvement needs, except for excellent service. I needed one piece of wood cut and was told by the woman in the lumber department that it would be quite a while because she and the other person who could operate the saw were loading wood onto a customer's truck. There were plenty of people available to load wood; it seemed to me like a waste of resources. I needed to buy a small tool and had left it in the tool department (a separate area) so I could pay for it and the wood together. When I returned without the wood, the person running the tool department asked what happened was amazed and called the lumber department. She was given the same answer I was and all she could say was, "This is ridiculous and I'm so sorry." I've not bought lumber at Home Depot since and am less inclined to shop there.
PROS: Wide selection
CONS: Less-than-helpful associates in the lumber department.
