I purchased my first car at Desert Toyota. I purchased a 2012 Toyota Corolla. Upon purchasing my vehicle I was originally working with Robert Fernandez who was nice at first but then he handed me off to a older gentleman named Sid who came off a little rude. I left the dealership that night with the car with the expectation that the car belonged to me. I paid my down payment, signed all the paperwork and left. A week later they call saying I was not approved by the Bank and that I had to find a co signer. I told them i didnt have a cosigner and they told me to look for one. Another week passes and they call me back and said that I did not need a cosigner after all and all I need is to make an additional down payment of $1500. I made an appointment with the Financial manager Johnathan and my dealer Sid for the following business day for after 5pm because I had work. By 1 pm that day I was recieving phone calls at work and on my cell saying that they were going to report the car stolen . I called my boyfriend because I was scared. He called Sid and Sid began to yell obscenities to Joe. When I got to the dealership after work they apologized and said they would take $500 off of the car. So instead of making a post dated check for $1500 I was making a check for $1000. I agreed and resigned the paperwork. Upon looking at the paperwork with my lawyer at a later date I found that I resigned the paperwork for March 12th but at the time it was March 28th. They took my appearance package off the car to compensate for the $500 they were taking off my car and they incorparated it into my payments. So they basically did nothing to compensate for the very poor customer service given to me. Then to top it off the 55 days they had promised from the time I purchased the car to my first payment was not granted to me and I recieved a bill for April 12th before I even finished paying the remainder of my down payment. So they were decietful and they lied. Customer care even saw inconsistances with their system and the contract that was signed. So please save yourself dont go to Desert Toyota.

I just bought a new prius v and haven't had a chance to drive it much.
Sterling Schiessler, who was our sales person was very courteous and helpful and answered all our questions. It is really nice when you deal with someone who is customer friendly. He was not pushy and worked with us along with being available to us every time we came in. He made is a good experience, which we appreciated. Thank you Sterling for the nice experience.

If you buy a brand new car and trade in yours PLEASE BE ADVISED that they are very sneaky, when they show you the amount of the trading....it includes the taxes.!!!!..and if you ask question about the different amount on the paper, the salesman will tell you to look at the total in the bottom, the details are not important!!!!!!

VERY VERY SNEAKY!!!!

I bought my Camry from them several years ago. At the time they were pretty good but now I recommend everybody stay away! First the service department is horrible. Aside from terrible people skills (I once waited 5 minutes at the service desk while 3 women talked about their social lives before helping me) they are very dishonest and incompetent. Every time I take my car in for the regular maintenance they ALWAYS tell me something is wrong and dangerous. Last time my breaks were dangerous, and my car severely needed a carbon flushing or something. This was for a young Camry. For cars that are supposed to be so good, why do they find something wrong every time?!?!??? I started paying attention and every customer waiting in the service department had some random "DANGEROUS" thing discovered when their car was in for maintenence.

When they quoted me a ridiculous price for brakes and a "carbon flushing" I had to take it elsewhere to have those done. Then, when I get there they told me that wasn't necessary. THESE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO UPSELL AND MAKE MONEY. On top of that my alignment was off wack after a regular mainenance and they were accusing me!

On top of that the salesmen are pushy. I was walking out of the service department and two salesmen started yelling from across the lot for me. I kindly told them no and one of them shouted at me in a rude tone "Gee thanks lady".

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I've always had great service from Desert Toyota, especially in their Service Dept. Charlie M always treated me great & went out of his way to make sure my car was taken care of. He was always very professional.

My Tundra was towed into Desert Toyota because of a bad battery that would not take a jump start. They replaced the battery and did an oil change. During the service they filled out a check sheet that said they checked wiper blades, lights and other things. When I picked up my truck I found the wiper blades torn and one head light out. But both of these were marked as OK on the inspection sheet. I called and spoke to the assistant service manager, who helped me. And was told it was an oversite. I wounder what else was "over looked". HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and they don't care about their customers.

My name is Dan R, I am a customer of:

DESERT TOYOTA
6300 W. Sahara Ave
Las Vegas, NV.

I purchased a used vehicle from DESERT TOYOTA on 10-31-09. When receiving my trade-in vehicle DESERT TOYOTA KNOWINGLY failed to completely pay off lease payoff. They also KNOWINGLY failed to advise me that they were leaving me with a $4,000 balance to pay off myself.

Hundreds of working hours invested in this issue over the last 5 months has returned a campaign of silence from Desert Toyota. It is now April 3rd, 2009. They have turned their back on me after failing to fulfill their contract. This is a plea for help.

If you, or anyone you knows works with or at DESERT TOYOTA, please forward this to their managers. Ask them to call (702-871-4111), email (FernandezR@autonation.com), or confront Robert Ferandez, the DESERT TOYOTA Sales Manager and remind him that he needs to PAY DAN??S LEASE, as he promised.

I am a single mom. I went here to look for a 4Runner. I am a working professional and I had a lease on a car that did not meet my needs and the payment was really high. So I go here and ask to speak to someone in their fleet department. The salesman I met, whom I will call "john doe", seemed like a nice guy. A nice guy until he started making comments about my figure, then asking me out and wanting to know if I dated anybody. I assured him that it would never be him and left! What a jerk!!!

I had gone to the Toyota Dealer by my house before I went to Desert, but their price was too high. So I decided I may just go back there even though the price was higher. I was afraid that the salesman at Desert was going to grope me on our test drive!!!

So I went back home and found Centennial Toyota on the web and sent in for a quote. Got two e-mails and a call and went to see them. I met with Tiny, too, and it was the best experience EVER! Total Professional! One hour in and out and I am loving my new 4Runner!!!!

We purchased a CERTIFIED Pre owned Toyota Highlander from this dealership in November 2005. Not more than a month later the brakes started having a grinding sound. I hadn't even driven it 1,000 miles and they said it was normal wear and tear. I threw a fit in the showroom and made a scene until they fixed the problem for no charge. I asked to see the sheet where the inspection had taken place on the certification of the car and after about an hour they produced this paper with a bunch of check marks on all the items but no date. Anyway the car has been pretty good since it's a Toyota, but it sounds like wind is coming in from the rear door area somewhere. I'm thinking it was either wrecked or damaged somehow because it sounds like a window is cracked. I won't dare go back to this place due to the salespeople standing outside like vultures waiting to prey on anyone that pulls into the lot. Just didn't feel like a place I would like to return to. I must say I love the Toyota product, just not this particular dealership.

Desert Toyota withheld vital information that our 2002 Toyota Camry XLE had sustained extensive frame damage from a previous accident. It was during a routine appraisal evaluation following the sale that we learned of the prior frame damage that Desert Toyota either failed to discover, or neglected to disclose to us. This damage had critically compromised the integrity of the vehicle, primarily, in the form of a crack in the engine block. It also significantly reduced the value of the car, leaving us with thousands of dollars in negative equity unbeknownst to us for months. Various other minor structural damage and malfunctioning systems became evident immediately upon delivery of the vehicle: a non-functioning rear defroster, a leaking rear windshield (which resulted in flooding of the trunk), a cracked and leaking windshield fluid container, several misaligned and broken consoles, and a strong pull to the right. These systems had all passed a 160 point inspection conducted by an in-house technician, however were all malfunctioning at the time of the sale. This information was apparently either overlooked or ignored by the staff at Desert Toyota. The malfunctioning systems were evident to us instantly upon taking delivery of the vehicle; we owned the car for less than 48 hours before it spent the next 30 days at Desert Toyotas service center being repaired. Desert Toyota then failed to deliver to us a compensatory extended service contract, as repeatedly promised, to protect our interest in the case that future repairs, due to their negligence, became necessary. After numerous confrontations with their management team regarding business practices and ethics, we became wise to the fact that they were unwilling to honor any of their pledges or do anything to rectify an immoral and dishonest transaction, nor apologize for the unacceptable treatment we received.

I 1st got 2 las vegas n brought my toyota in for regular maintenance, and not only was it overpriced I walked out with problems that I never had before. I believed it to be coincidence so I brought my other toyota as well and ended up needing repair on my air conditioning that didn't have a problem before going there. I believe they r not an honest company. I don't even buy toyota's anymore because of such crooked policies.

well recently I was looking for a new car and stumbled into an ad for desert toyota. And even though i did not buy a car from them at the time I enjoyed the attention and courtesy I received from them. They had a great selection and made me feel I like i was the most importent person there. So for a good deal courtest staff i recommend them.
